Air conditioning couldn't be controlled by the thermostat. You are no longer provided with glasses in your room. The light switch to the bathroom was faulty. What's changed ? I would always rate this Hotel highly ,having stayed here dozens of times.

I have just had the worst night's sleep. The flooring in the hotel is so creaky that every step from the room above is incredibly loud. Thw room above us was creaking and stomping around until late into the night and then was stomping and creaking from 5am until 6.40am. A ridiculous length of time for anyone to be walking backwards and forwards around a tiny room. The floorboards amplified every step. Book a room on the top floor to avoid this - or even better just avoid this place it is psychological torture.

I didn’t stay, I was visiting family who were staying there, so can’t really comment for a stay over. We had breakfast which was quality & worth the money. The staff were friendly & kept very busy!

1 night booked on my behalf by my employer for work related travel. Breakfast and Dinner included in the booking. Arrived and before I could open my mouth I was ushered towards a self check in kiosk which didn't work so had to check in normally anyway. Went up to my room to drop bags off and then came down to the restaurant for dinner. I was ignored for about 5 minutes before a surly waitress asked me if I'd booked a table. I said I should be on the list but this was arranged via my employer and I had no input in the booking. I was given a condescending explanation about how I haven't booked a table and that, despite dinner being included on my reservation, I would have to book a table in order to redeem my dinner. When I asked if I could sit down now I was told I'd have to come back in 30 minutes. I pointed to the empty restaurant (see attached picture) and asked if they were sure they couldn't accommodate me now, unfortunately, this waitress would make no exception. 30 minutes later I come back to the same, almost entirely empty restaurant, and I'm sat between 2 tables with screaming children at them (also, the only other guests in the restaurant) and am then subsequently ignored for 15 minutes before being asked if I would like anything to drink. I used this opportunity to place my order so I didn't have to wait another 15 minutes to do that. 20 minutes later my starter arrived and a further 20 minutes later my main arrived. At no point did any of the service staff ask me how my meal was. Upon returning to my room I noticed 2 stains on the bedsheets (see pictures) and the mould across the top of the bathroom door (see picture). I didn't feel comfortable asking for an alternative room given the treatment I had received from the restaurant staff, and so I made do with the dirty bed sheets. When I got into the bed it felt as though there was sand, or some other small dirt, in the bed that was creating a lot of discomfort. Again, I did not feel comfortable requesting a new room due to my previous treatment. Clearly the bed has not been cleaned or changed, so I sat in the armchair for the remainder of the night and slept about 2 hours. The only saving grace was that the morning staff were very pleasant. But breakfast started at 7 and I had to be at work for 07:30 so I didn't even get to have it. I will be recommending my employer ceases using that hotel for it's staff due to my poor treatment.

I booked to stay with here together with My Wife for two nights. The booking was for an accessible room with a lowered bath. The Service on arrival from the girl at reception was really not great. My wife was told to use the check-in tablet instead of dealing with someone in person which I had requested to do due to the nature of our booking. I got a lot of grunting. Huffing and puffing and the feeling of not wanting to be dealt with. Once we finally got our room key. We entered a freezing cold room. The heating was faulty in the room and would not turn on correctly. After 20 minutes of trying I went to reception a man seemed to know straight away what the issue was and "reset it". I asked if this was an issue reported previously apparently it wasn't. I checked the reviews shortly after this and many guests have reported the same. The heating worked for 20 minutes then once again turned off and wasn't blowing any hot air. The room stayed cold. I once again went to reception expressing that the heating had gone off and they needed again to address the issue. I was provided a small heater however this wasn't sufficient to heat the entire room and in the end we had to give up trying. My Wife suffers from uncomfortability in her hip, and we require a warm room for her sleep to be comfortable, but this was cold and abysmal. Finally, when we went to lie down, we discovered the bed was rock hard and incredibly uncomfortable. It was awful. This was not a silent night mattress that Premier Inn provided in its other establishments and was a very old mattress that they used to use before. I have stayed in enough Premier Inns to know the difference. So once again, we had a cold nights sleep and awful nights sleep on a rock hard bed. I had booked for two nights, and I removed my things in the morning to stay elsewhere for the second night. The stay was simply awful. I had fed back to the branch manager Ioawa in the morning to explain my disappointment and dis satisfaction with my stay. I was told I needed to report to Premier Inn themselves and that nothing could be done from her side. She apologised and I accepted that however the standards of this Hotel were simply terrible. Save your money and stay else where.

I have lost count of how many Premier Inns I've stayed in across the country, over the years, for business and pleasure. And yet, this one at Poole North is consistently the friendliest. Thank you Sally, Mark and team. 🙏

Lovely rooms, really liked the look of the Social bar / restaurant. Service at the bar was great, but service in the restaurant was terrible. Was told to find myself a table at breakfast and it was a job finding one that didn't have dirty plates on it. The lady who was on made no attempt to clear anything, quite bizarre. Needs the proverbial rocket up the backside.

Not bad, parts could do with a lick of paint but as a place to sleep it does the job. A little out of the way for places to eat. Breakfast was quite busy and noisy but food was ok

Good to have the Cow back to what it used to be like years ago. Sensibly priced beverages and food. The outside seating area is brilliant and gets the sun mist if the day.

On the second consecutive time items missing. First incidence in person order ,2 pea fritters missing got home none there so didn’t bother phoning or complaining. Tonight order through Deliveroo 2 x curry sauces omitted not a happy customer although at least Deliveroo will refund. Nothing to complain about the food its good and fresh as long as you get it !!
