The food was great quality and served really quick! Great service and friendly staff.

Visited last minute without booking to grab some dinner before a journey home, Jo was very welcoming and very friendly, I have a gluten allergy and Jo couldn’t have been any more accommodating, nothing was too much to ask for, thankyou Jo and the team at harvester for the quick efficient friendly service.

We'd avoided this place for ten years, thinking, 'It can't be that bad.' Well, it was. The burger was a flavourless crime scene, and the place looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the last Ice Age.

Food was delicious as always, a warm welcome from staff too helps. Allergies were well catered for

Very disappointed, ordered 2 plain ribs meals but got with barbecue sauce, when call to sort out, was no solutions , the manager hung up in middle of conversation. Never going to order again, the customer service is awful. MANAGER like this shouldn't work here after treating customers like this.

Absolutely wonderful experience at Harvester! Our waiter, Lewis, went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable and stress-free. He was incredibly knowledgeable about gluten-free options, which made a huge difference for us as parents. Having someone so attentive and well-informed really took the worry out of ordering, and we could just relax and enjoy our meal. The food was delicious, with a great variety that catered to everyone in the family. Overall, a fantastic dining experience thanks to the friendly and professional service from Lewis. Highly recommended!

I always feel we are quick to complain and slow to praise , this review is to praise. I’ll revert back a few years as a family we visited often but noticed quality of food and service dropped and we had a few negative experiences and stopped eating in harvesters in general . We had a few lunches last year and saw improvements and started to return again. We came for a meal on Saturday evening and booked via the app , we was greeted warmly given a choice of seating and then a waiter was on hand swiftly , food arrived timely and it was good . We ordered dessert and I encountered a problem with the banana delight waffle as it had lots of cream , I checked the menu as I thought I missed it and no mention of cream , I approached a gentleman and told him and he swiftly offered to change my dessert which was fantastic , he was so polite and nothing was too much trouble he was called Malcolm and he really impressed me with his accommodating attitude and impressive customer service

I been coming here for a while and I must be honest that I have had nothing but amazing customer service from all the staff. Food is always fresh and delicious. Salad bar is yummy. Many thanks Michael, Jo, Moe, Lewis, Sam and the rest of the staff. 100% recommended. Moe

This has become a regular choice for my family. The food is tasty. Menu is varied and lots of options on the salad bar. Service is quick and staff always really friendly especially Mo.

As soon as we walked through the door Sam was very welcoming and directed us to the nearest table. Then straight away asked us for drinks and brought them straight over within minutes. The food was great also but Sam made the whole experience special for us. Will definitely recommend to my friends and come back.

My partner and I came here for a meal and walked away full and happy for sure. We were served by Mo (the guy with the pony tail haha), he particularly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after us. The food too was great, we got the ultimate rib combo to share and it was amazing! The meat was so tender and the sides were delicious too. Definitely recommend! Thanks Mo :)

Loving the new menu look and food, we had a mix of the starters today ( the nachos are plain at our request and not actually what they would look like). Jo our waitress looked after us and even made us our own special cocktail very customer friendly. The manager came over and spoke to us too about our thought on the new menu. Cant wait to come back and try more new things.

So disappointed. Booked a table for four requesting disability access and room for a wheelchair. Was shown to a table that was difficult to get to with a wheelchair and would have been too small for four able bodied people to have eaten at. Asked for a different table which they didn’t have. It was very busy but if you don’t have the space don’t accept the booking. Walked over the road to Bella Italia and they couldn’t have been more helpful.

Nice food. Love the salad bar with Red Devil sauce. I do think Harvester are missing a trick by not opening salad bars in city centres.

Food not as good as it has been. Disappointing as prices are expensive.

I yTry plenty of harvesters and this one is great but wouldn't rate it one of the top ones. Not alot of staff on limited seating not much at the pump at the bar either. Food was nice but parts were a tad bland to what in used to having at other harvesters. Atmosphere was OK and the service was great quick and friendly.

The best harvester I have been to this was a pit stop on a long journey and everything was fresh, fast and efficient if ever back that way will 100% visit and recommend 😀

We liked this place so much we came here twice within a few days of each other !!! We were greeted by Jo who made our time so relaxed and enjoyable. We had a nice banter going. Jo was very attentive and very helpful. A real asset. Hubby loved his salmon and had it again on the second occasion. I particularly liked the salad bar . The refill glasses of soft drinks were a great success. Nice food .

It has been a while since we were last in a Harvester, what a change! We were here for breakfast and were looked after by Jo a super friendly and very pleasant member of staff. We had a great experience, the food and coffee was really very good. The ultimate breakfast with a side of rump was clearly too much and beat me hands down. A clean, welcoming little restaurant with great staff. Special thanks go to Jo, a great ambassador for the company.

Stood at door unsure wether we should walk to table or wait to be shown. There were no signs to tell us what service was provided. A scruffy man with a dirty top comes over & asked if we have a reservation. When we said "no", he pointed to the tall tables, gave us menus & walked away. While we waited to give our order, we noticed none of the staff wore a recognisable uniform. We were surprised with the lack of traditional English dishes, but decided to try a few dishes on the special offer menu. We were very pleased with being told about the unlimited salad and the wide choice on offer. We had time to eat two bowls of salad before being served our starter. Our starters were delicious, and we were looking forward to our mains being just as good. The chili con carne and the rice burnt mums mouth and she was unable to eat any more of it. Big disappointment for her to waste food. We had to order a glass of milk to cool down her burns. My chicken dish was OK. Came with stuffing chips and half corncob. The hot honey wasn't hot in temperature as I expected, but full of chilli.... That I can't eat. I found the chips were also too spicy hot to eat. If you like hot spicy food, this is the place for you. We didn't stop for icecream incase that was full of chilli too!!! We will not return.

I will never recommend this place for eating, as the first time was brilliant last year and now it has gone down hill. I emailed them about the food and was not happy with the response we got. The med tart wasn't a tart, it was a pastry case with slop in. I have attached the response that we got and we thought they would have responded better. Hello both, Thank you for getting in touch regarding your visit yesterday. The salad bar is not supposed to be a starter, but rather an accompliment to your meal. As you may have noticed we don't serve any salad on the mains or starters for that reason. The med veg tart is made to the spec set out by our head office. And we have given feedback on the dish as i agree it is not as good as it can be, but for now that's how we have to prepare it. In regards to the haddock being out of stock we have been excessively busier than we had planned for and 1 dish we seem to have sold more of is the Haddock and are awaiting our delivery today. I apologise about that fact as we do try to ensure we have all items at all times, but occasionally we do sell out of something. Regards Will General Manager

I eat alone at a lot of restaurants whilst travelling and was happy to find that the service, food and atmosphere was great at the harvester today. The place was calm, not too much noise, and they widely spread their customers out to avoid them feeling cramped up, which I really appreciated. Often when it's not busy, restaurants will sit people in one section - I'm quite glad that wasn't the case. Sam was a great server: attentive, speedy and very polite. The breakfast was delicious, especially the sausages. Thanks again, I'll be sure to pop back if I'm in the area again.

Atrocious food and very poor value for money. Used to love harvester’s mostly but gone downhill big time. Food was either reheated for ages or overcooked. In my mixed grill the gammon steak was so hard it was inedible, the steak comprised 2 little bits of lukewarm and chicken was a scrawny leg with half decent chips sausage and egg and mushroom. My wife’s meal not much better. We’re both pensioners and rarely eat out so we’re mega disappointed and couldn’t wait to get out, no point complaining. It won’t change anything. Horrid place. Never again.

Kate was a wonderful waitress at Harvesters when we visited the Hamptons, Peterborough. She was very polite and friendly. We had an enjoyable experience.

The restaurant and staff were 1st class. Met up with old school friends for chat and extended lunch. BEWARE car park has time limit. I saw no signs and was not informed by restaurant. Just received £100 parking fine.

I didn’t get all of my order and l wasn’t too happy about it,coleslaw salad * bacon flavoured bits and fries

The waiter moe does help with providing a detailed choice of food.
