Food is pretty good,however customer service Is really poor. Staff are miserable and rude, never polite. This is my experience from eat ins and take away. Eat in you get ignored.

Crispy shredded beef was 10/10 ♥️ the rest was nice too ! Delivery really early and hadn’t got a notification it was on the way till about 30 minutes after it was delivered though lol luckily was in .

The app said that our food was with the driver at 8:30pm but after 15 mins it still hadn't arrived, my wife rang the restaurant and they said the driver left them 8 mins ago but our food still didn't turn up until gone 9pm the restaurant is 10 mins at most away from my house.

A long delivery time -70 mins was given,so they can say they were early? Chips were inedible because so hard, as if they'd been cooked several times. Prawns tough. Sauce fluorescent red. Charge for bags! Is there new owners? Not as good as usual

Food ordered almost 2hrs ago, still not arrived. Got fobbed off twice by the woman on the phone. Tried to contact just eat but that costs £6 apparently just for the call. Don't use this restaurant as they don't deliver but take your money. I will not be using just eat any more as the customer service is terrible. Foodhub from now on.

I ordered 3 things and was given chicken fried rice instead of egg fried rice so ended up eating meat as someone who doesn’t eat meat. I was offered a refund for the one dish that was wrong but no replacement. Very disappointed

Delivery was supposed to be between 8:30-8:50, didn’t receive my order until 9:50 after ringing 2 times and being told the driver was 3 minutes away both times. Asked for some money back for waiting so long and was told we had been compensated with something from the menu which we had not. The food came cold, was tasty but unfortunately this has put us off ordering again! Completely understand Friday nights are busy, but we paid £40 for a takeaway and expected the food quality to reflect this.

Absolutely disgraceful customer service, waited over 2 hours for food (2hrs 32 minutes to be precise) phoned up to ask where my order was and was hung up on by the staff member on the call after expressing my concern over the huge wait time (not being rude just explaining how me and my friends have been waiting all night) - order was over £70 also… From my experience, I would not order again or recommend anyone to order from here This is my honest opinion, other people may have a positive experience however for me this was not the case. This is not an attack on the company just sharing my negative experience. Nothing was offered against the wait time such as a discount or free item which could have helped the situation as a offering of apology for the terrible customer service 1star

Order on uber eats been well over hour about 20 phone calls no food. To be told on way then to be told some reason drive is in Orton where we don't live then 10 mins away. Now nearly 10 at night no food no answer as to why. I want full refund so unhappy my partner has work at 4 in morning and hasn't even received his food. Over 10 times calling and going to voicemale. Even if by some miracle his food turns up going be stone cold and inedible. And asking for refund now and have phone put down on us and not answering.

Not sure what's happened to this place. Been coming here for ages, last time was about 6 weeks ago on a Sunday evening.. it wasn't great ! You could tell some of the dishes were heated in the microwave.. chips double cooked and reheated.. not like it usually is.. we thought oh well, maybe it's cause we came in as it opened and it's Sunday, maybe not the same chef.. So kept an open mind, went again last night, booked table for 4 at 7.30, starters are amazing, but that's about it.. the duck was just OK.. then the mains.. well that's were it went downhill.. wife ordered chicken curry (well you could stand the spoon up in it) so thick you had to shake it off your spoon.. I had Thai chicken curry ( there was two pieces of chicken in it) it was obviously out of a packet because I could taste the grain powder while eating it... when we mentioned it the the waitress she said oh sorry about that, and left.. not "can we change it for you ?" Nothing at all... so unfortunately our time here has come to an end, 😪 which is really sad for us cause we used to love coming here.. One thing I will point out is: 1 of out table of 4 was a vegetarian, she said the vegi option was fantastic except the veg curry, again way to thick, and much hotter than last time she had it, ..

ordered a couple of mains and a side just before 6pm. estimated delivery time was 6.45 to 7.05. at 7.15 I contacted the restaurant as our order hadn't arrived. the estimated delivery time was changed to 7.30. At 7.48 I contacted the restaurant again as the order still hadn't arrived and was told it was with the driver. Food was delivered at 8.18 plus half the ingredients in the chop suey were missing. Really poor experience. I know it was Mother's day so expected they'd be busy, but v poor 😕

pre ordered this morning for 7.15pm..then told it was delayed until 7.35pm..still waiting for my order at 7.55pm but my app says enjoy your food.. I don't have my food..use this restaurant all the time.. disappointed to say the least

The order took two hours to come. I had to call several times for an update, I was told it would be 5 minutes. I then waited a further 35 minutes. When it did finally arrive the car was full of people being very noisy in a quiet street, the girl was very rude when delivering and didn’t even apologise for the delay. When I opened the food, it was stone cold and in-edible, I will not be ordering from them again.

Shocking delivery said it would be an hour which was already along time… after an hour and 15 mins said it was delivered… then took another 20mins. Food was ok but had gone past it.

Booked on a Whim as I have often driven by and admired the outside of the building ( if you ignore the petrol station infront of it). Booked for 5.30 on a Saturday and the place wasn't busy , but by the time we left it was. We had the buffet deal and you get to choose 2 starters and 2 mains for £18.90 a head (there is also a 3 course option). Starter portion sizes were decent and could easily be shared, mains were smaller but we all walked away happy. The service was a little slow and perhaps the wait staff could smile more, but they were pleasant. Maybe the resurant is a bit retro complete with Lazy Susan's ( for the youngsters here goggle it) but I would certainly go again and would definitely book as they seem to have a good client base.

the order was late , I rang repeatedly to try and find out where it was , my partner managed to get through , she told him our order was with the driver , after 25 it hadn't arrived still, we phoned again , she said she would call the driver . the order was over 1 hrs late from expected delivery, an was an additional almost 50 minutes from the call where we were told the driver was on his way with it , the food arrived cold , an its wasn't able to be reheated safely . had to throw away .

you can tell all food is sloped together and chicken is too tight no taste so to get around it they put BBQ sauce on it

delivery was 10 minutes late that the time frame, so I was quite hungry then. The food was hot and tasty, however, the bean curd was overfried and so very chewy. Other than that is OK.

Just want to start by saying the food is quite nice (4/5 stars) but the service on the other hand today was very poor. I have been a regular customer for some time now, even known by name and have never had this issue before today. After making an order for delivery (@ 6.20pm) was told it would be with me within a hour (as expected), 1 hour and 30 minutes later (7.50pm) there was no sign of my order. So I phoned to ask where it was… it had been delivered to the wrong address (another regular customer close to me) how this happened I don’t know as payed with card over the phone and had to confirm address multiple times for delivery and payment purposes. Call handler working at the time proceeded to call the phone of the address the food was wrongly delivered too, asking them to walk and give me my food, they informed him that they had eaten it. He then banged on about how confused he was that this had occurred almost as if he hadn’t took the order but he definitely did. Asked me then if I could collect the food, then asked for my number, told me they’d make it fresh and would deliver as soon as possible. Before having the chance to even respond, the call was cut off. Tried to ring back 3 times with no answer, rang off another phone and the call was answered straight away, politely made him aware that I was not happy about the situation with the food and the ignoring off the phone calls. I was given the ultimatum that I could wait for my food or have a refund and they were my only options, the only attempt at trying to rectify the issue was that I could have a extra portion of chicken skewers, even after I made the call handler aware that I am a regular customer and that I was not happy with the service provided to me today. Was also told I was not aloud to speak to a manager as they were too busy. Didn’t receive my food till 8.50pm (another hour after the second call and 2 hours and 20 minutes after making the order). This is not an negative review towards the food or business but towards the person who handled my call.

Absolutely fabulous! I'm not from the area but I was visiting family who live nearby and who recommended it. The exterior isn't great as it's a bit shabby, positioned next to a petrol station and Costcutter shop, and situated on a fairly busy road, but the old adage of 'Never judge a book by its cover' most definitely applies here! It's quite a small place so booking is recommended. Our party of 4 had the buffet deal. Whilst choosing you are given complimentary prawn crackers and dips which is a nice touch. Even by the end of the starters we could quite happily have left happy and with full bellies as there was so much food! We had 8 starters between us. Then you get to choose a 2nd course of pancakes. I think the choices were duck, chicken and maybe beef? But as a veggie (well, pescatarian actually) I had that option and they were lovely. Onto the 3rd course and again a choice of 8 dishes between us. By now we were well and truly stuffed! There was no rush in between courses whatsoever - everything came out in perfectly timed gaps, was hot and tasty. Service was polite and friendly. This has to be one of, if not THE, best Chinese restaurant meal I've ever had! I can't recall the cost as I didn't pay, but I'm sure it was something like £20pp. The only "gripe" is (unless I'm mistaken) that the info about the buffet doesn't appear to show on their website so people may not be aware of it, so it definitely needs mentioning IMO as it's just great!

Food was nice, normally go into the restaurant as it's just the road, but went with delivery, was 15 minutes late.

We pre-ordered this over an hour before the set delivery time of 18:05, which we thought was plenty of time... apparently not! By 19:05 we had still not recieved the food and the restaurant was now showing as closed on the just eat app. I tried to call 8 times but my calls remained unanswered. Assuming it was a lost cause, we therefor made alternitive arrangments. Attempted delivery eventialy came at 19:40. More then 90mins late and more then 2.5 hours after ordering. I rejected the food as we had already ordered and recieved from somewhere else by this point, and i demanded a refund. This was 10 days ago, i am still arguing with the stupid automated just eat system to recieve my refund! The food here has previously been good, but i will never be ordering from here again.
