This place is now our go to Chinese takeaway, really good!

First time trying Ming Garden, happy with what we ordered, would have liked to crispy chicken to have been crispier. Will definitely try again.

Ordered 114 which was meant to have chicken and SHRIMP. After paying and collecting I was told they was no shrimp. She said I should have asked before ordering 😳

Literally the best Chinese in Peterborough. So glad I decided to try another Chinese takeaway away. It's so good! Always quick delivery, piping hot food and absolutely delicious.

Food never arrived and when I called the restaurant they just kept telling me they had already delivered it. Spoke to the driver who said he would come back to see me as he was adamant he’d been to the right address and he never turned up

Not sure what has happened to this place over the last couple of months but the quality of the food has seriously gone downhill. Tonight the food was like it had been cooked in old oil and the smell was very overpowering.... Took my food back and won't be using this place again.

I placed the order yesterday for today's delivery for 6.30pm. It eventually arrived at 7.03pm. It would also be helpful if the restaurant could please I.D. the individual meals by marking the containers in some way; perhaps number the on line menu entries and put the number on the container. At least the meal was still hot, and well cooked. Compliments to the chef.

I only do 3-4 chinese takeaway a year as most of the times I'm disappointed in the quality.Yesterday my girl wanted chinese so we ordered.Collection was ready in 20 mins-peak time on Saturday And oh boy!I never had such a nice chinese!New chef maybe,new ingredients,better recepies or new supplier?I don't know.Everything was so fresh and nicely presented.Satay chicken on skewers had plenty of meat.Satay sauce definitely 'home made'- I could literally taste the coconut milk,peanuts,hint of chilli.My daughter had aromatic duck-beautifully cooked and perfectly sliced.Cucumber and spring onions were very fresh.I had king prawn in kung po sauce.Prawns were huge.Portions were big,plenty left over for next day.The only downside is this set my standard and I'd be very disappointed if not getting the same quality next time

The Driver was absolutely wonderful very kind and curtious and apologized for it taking so long wish I could get such a good driver every time I use Just eats he deserves a bonus

Decent Chinese food, larger than average portions compared to other local outlets, great taste, fast service, good interaction with customers

The sweet and sour sauce was not like it used be be very watery and not much taste and the same with the sauce on the chilli beef all the food was nice but this did let the food down

Was quick delivery every thing was soo yummy

20 mins late, they forgot an item and they sent another one out. Had to reheat the food when the forgotten item turned up. 2nd issue I've had with this restaurant. Won't be ordering again.

Very good family meal from a local take away. Reasonable price , I have paid more for worse food. Will use this takeawy again!! The only downside is that it is cash only

They say on your app it was delivered at 19.10 when iv only been delivered at 8pm not happy one bit

Delivery was late but that's only because the driver was given the wrong address to deliver too. Otherwise it would have been perfect. The food was wonderful as always :)

The worst Chinese takeaway in Peterborough. Food never arrive after 2 hours chasing. Every phone call they said will be deliver in few minutes. After 2 hours they said they are too busy and food not cook yet. They refused to cancel my order and refund. I have to contact (datman) the online order company to deal with them.

Very late delivery? Lady on the phone said not even cooked food when it was already 10 minutes late. Not at all impressed. Won't order again

I ordered food to go and ordered home delivery. Cooking is very fast. As for the delivery, I had my food delivered within 15 minutes of opening!!! The food arrived very hot (it's so fast). I am very pleased with the taste. It is incredibly tasty. The choice of dishes is great. You can find vegan, vegetarian and meat options. I highly recommend the Mixed Vegetable Fried Rice and Chicken in Plum Sauce. 4 dishes cost me £26 (2 portions of meat, rice and appetizers)

Had to ring and ask for a different delivery time as our friends were running late. Dealt with very efficiently and food arrived dead on time, hot and fresh. Thank you

We always order the salt & pepper king prawns, salt & pepper chips, crispy chilli beef, and egg fried rice. It never disappoints and the staff are super friendly! Great value for money!

Omg what a disappointment. I've been having food from here for years.Last nights takeaway was awful. Chow mein was very dry & no flavour lacking in everything. Bbq ribs were ok.Pancake rolls were hollow & tasted reheated. It was far from how it used to be.Wont be going back anytime soon.

This place was so bad. My second time ordering and it was horrible. I called and asked for delivery. I waited over an hour and called back for the lady on the phone to say I had called for collection. Which was not true. I then had to wait another 45 mins for my food to come. When it came it was cold. I called to complain and they kept saying it was fault and there was nothing they can do about it. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I am just looking for a good Chinese place to order from. That is all.

As always, for the last 30 years. I have never had a late, cold or wrong order. Professional service at its best for 3 decades. You will not be disappointed.

Food didn't even arrive. Restaurant accepted the order and I called 15 mins after the estimated delivery time to find out the Restaurant had closed. Apauling. If they had planned on not completing the order it should have been rejected.

Decent food, well presented. Personally I like a bit more sauce with main course dishes like chicken & cashew, for the rice, but appreciate each takeaway has its own style. Beef chow mien was literally noodles with beef, nothing else like a dressing, or vegetables of note to compliment so again a bit dry on its own. Again different styles, nice but felt like something was missing.

Food was freezing cold, half of the food was missing. Rang the restaurant twice they said that they would ring the driver to see where he was, then said they would ring back but they never did. When the driver deliver the food he was rude. The service from the restaurant was absolutely terrible will never be ordering from you’s again

My husband and I order takeaways from different takeaways around Peterborough every friday and Saturday, so have experienced all sorts of delivery drivers. However, the 2 delivery drivers at Ming Garden are definitely the best! They are always quick at finding my flat and are very respectful and talkative. Their customer service is outstanding. Keep up the good work lads! Will be ordering more often. Debs x

Ordered from here on Monday I think they have a new lady on the phone who took our order with some difficulty. Delivery took over 2 hours and the driver was rude when her turned up.

I ordered a Singapore Chow Mein and Sweet & Sour Sauce on 1st feb for collection from Ming Garden. Really friendly lady on the front desk. Food was lovely, plenty of meat in the chow mein, which you dont always get from other chinese restaurants in the area- my new favourite chinese.

Delicious food, sadly it was 25 minutes late. Despite being late, the food was piping hot. The pork dish was mixed up but I called the restaurant, they apologised. To late for it to be rectified.

Although the food was on time, hot and fresh I was a little disappointed that for some bizarre reason the seafood rice had seafood sticks you get at the supermarket in place of scallops. Very disappointed, as was the disappointment with pancake rolls which were made with cabbage and not beansprouts plus being very small. Not the worst chinese ever but by a country mile not the best either. I'm not sure we will be back but I think if I'm passing I might order something different and see what happens. A very cautious 6/10.

The food, while tasty, could have done with being a little warmer. It was not cold, but it wasn't really hot either.
