Harvester Old Castle Salisbury in Wiltshire

Lulu was our amazing server at lunch today, the rack of ribs were beautiful cooked.

My first time at this haverster, and the server lulu was really amazing, and such a great experience, will definitely be returning.

Leah was excellent, looked after us so well in highly busy situation. She deserves a lot of praise. Thankyou Leah

The service was brilliant!! Evelyn was so helpful and very polite. Although, the harvester has gone down in my expectations as it’s not a nut free restaurant anymore. We used to go for meals there as it was local and nut free, I have a nut allergy and find it difficult to relax about my allergy. Also some salads bar dishes contained nuts which made me not have anything from the salad bar as I was worried about the cross contamination of the spoons. I did have to keep changing my order as lots of the meals had nuts in. The food that I got was still very nice, nothing bad about the food or service at all, just the restaurant no longer being nut free.

Emily was a very helpful and happy waitress that had to deal with a table of 7. She was very patient person and dealt with everything very professionally.

Was served by the lovely Leah, she was amazing and attentive!! Food was served quickly and she was very cheerful and friendly. Evelyn was also very lovely 10/10 customer service

Inedible prawns and garlic mushrooms, the supposed grilled chicken had been boiled to death, was just like rubber then put on the grill to pretend it had been grilled. Was ripped off on the supposed special offers. A terrible company definitely one to give a miss.

Terrible. £6 for this. Over 30 mins for some crisps on a plate and one of our meals was forgotten about.

Big family Lunch for 8 of us. They couldn't be more attentive! Friendly, happy atmosphere with great food and staff. Lyn was great.

Love the service here - Lulu our waitress was amazing, as she was the last time, makes coming here for a business lunch more enjoyable as no pressure and constant attention, checking everything was ok with our food etc. Will definitely be back

There’s a good lunchtime special that’s a good value. The food itself was good and the salad bar is one of the better we’ve seen post-pandemic.

Quite possibly the worst harvester I have visited. The staff are rude. Asked to speak to a manager about the kids dessert, but they were too busy to speak to me. Tables in the bar not cleaned. Sat there for almost 2 hours and we did not see one member of staff take any plates away. We had to clear our own salad dishes and starter plates! The salad bar had almost empty at 3pm! Embarrassing having to ask staff to fill it up. Half the menu was missing due to the rotisserie bot working. Had a gluten allergy within our group and was hard to work out what they could actually have from the menu!

Fantastic Mother’s Day and Easter Sunday menus. I highly recommend their as much as you can eat fresh salads, full rack of ribs and Sundae best options! Lyn at The Old Castle Harvester is extremely efficient, pleasant and provides outstanding service everytime!

Great food, great service, great staff. Lynn was particularly great. Very observant of diner’s progress with meals, so she could know when to serve the course. Mother’s Day and Easter Sunday meal offers were remarkable. Salad bowls were on the house! We loved every meal. Fantastic! Highly recommended.

Me and my friend came here for dinner after an emotionally long day and was served by Emily, she was genuinely kind and sweet and both of us left absolutely cheery and happy, the food was also absolutely delicious especially the corn bread!

Dan and Emily are absolute legends who were attentive and friendly throughout. The coffee wasn't great but everything else was spot on.

We were served by the manageress Rebekah, very smiley & engaging with us, she was very thorough when going through allergies and talking us through the process. She wasn't too overbearing & we felt very relaxed during our visit. The salad bar was always replaced, toilets were clean & hygienic. We look forward to coming back again and we hope to have rebekah as our waitress!

Our server Emily dealt with our orders with a warm smile and was very helpful. The food was excellently presented and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend especially with Old Sarum just over the road 👍👍

Would highly recommend anyone coming for food here. The service was great. the food was great. Our waitress LuLu is first class. She was friendly and welcoming and nothing was to much to ask. Nice terrace with space for kids. Food was very average, ordered a burger and the cheese was hard as a rock. Halloumi fries starter came with 4 fries..

Plenty of parking and garden benches for a sunny day. Order at the table via app is available. But not sure what the service is like that way. Just stopped for drinks and a pack of crisps.

I had a great experience at the harvester a couple of days ago u was served by a very friendly waitress I think her name was Evelyn she was an absolute delight and nothing was too much trouble for her I will definitely recommend this place because of the staff

Great service and lovely atmosphere

Food wasn’t as good as the usual Harvester sites. Salad bar that was meant to be ‘freshly replenished’ was all soggy and brown. Food from the kitchen wasn’t hot and didn’t taste fresh. Not impressed sadly.

Food was really nice and the lady serving me was very polite and asked if I wanted numerous coffee refills and asked if my breakfast was ok which was very nice!

Good atmosphere and personnel. Tasty food. It's good they have free range of salads to begin with, while the main dish is being prepared. Last time we were served by wonderful girl, Jasmine, who is quite competent and can give you a good advice concerning the food. Good place to come with family or friends.
