Bernita has been such a fabulous waitress tonight ☺️ Food was lovely too!

Came here for our weekly date night, and certainly wasn't disappointed. Lovely atmosphere, great food and Bernita's service was outstanding. First experience at a Harvester restaurant & it most definitely won't be the last!

We came here for dinner today… first time we’ve been to this harvester and we received great service from Anna our waitress. The Dog is a very comfortable place to eat very clean and the food was cooked to perfection… me and my husband had a lovely meal, the salad bar had so much choice and the dessert was lush !! Gemma The manager also came over to welcome us as new customers which was very nice.. the meal was faultless and I’m sure this won’t be the last time we come here. 😌

Well, that was first class. Took my Mother of 93, and daughter. There was plenty of access for my mother with her walking frame. The service was really good, with special mention for Anna, thank you so much for all your assistance. Really appreciated. The food was really good, we all left 'Over full', but really satisfied with the quality and flavour. Really enjoyed our visit. Thank you all for your service.

We had a lovely breakfast this morning at the dog, in particular our waitress Tonii who was very attentive to us and everyone else around us. The food was delicious and we couldn’t of asked for more

Great experience with Tonii as our server. She was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We came on a Sunday lunch/afternoon time, but had to wait over an hour from ordering to getting the main - however it was incredibly busy so appreciate staff being stretched. There were a few food options which were unavailable but again, because it’s busy it’s understandable but a shame. Thank you Tonii for your service and positive vibe you brought. We will be back :)

Bernita was nice and friendly and welcoming

Bernita was friendly as always, as she has been our regular server when we have frequented the restaurant. It's a central local for our catch-up due to half of the party coming from Malvern and the other half coming from Birmingham. Bernita always has a friendly smile and other recommendations from the menu if we can't decide what to have. She is an asset to the establishment.

Imogen looked after us and gave a great service, thank you 👏🏻

Fab meal last night, last minute decision to go. Food was spot on, very tasty and freshly prepared. Great selection on the salad bar. Our server was Bernita, she was supper friendly, very professional and helpful. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back.

Service quick and friendly - our server was Jessica and she was fantastic, she was training at the same time and managed to keep service going with no issues. Kids menu the perfect size! Only qualm is the Simply Classics Beef short rib was so small for the price but still very delicious

Went for a family meal, was brilliant food, cooked lovely and fresh food, we wasn't waiting long for our mains or puddings, our waitress millie was fantastic, couldn't do enough for us.

We come here quite a lot. It’s not fine dining but it is tasty, nicely presented, family friendly food with decent sized portions for a reasonable price (especially if you take advantage of one of their fantastic offers!). The kids love the free salad bar.

We came here over 2 days to complete work on site... Can't speak more highly of Gemma (G.M) and the staff here..... They were very welcoming and went above and beyond to facilitate our visit on both days. This harvester is one of the very best I've seen, it's spotlessly clean, a real credit to the staff and management. Food coming from the kitchen looked very inviting especially the rotisserie chickens .... so much so the that I've booked a table for me and the wife to come back at the weekend.. A big thank you to all the staff here, your help was very much appreciated (D) 🙂

Food good but not large portions for the money.

Sunday breakfast was terrific after my night shift. Harriet and Tonii just topped it up with their friendly and helpful service.

Food was excellent, and Harriet looked after us very well (as did all the staff). We're especially grateful to them for sorting out my dad's birthday cake

Absolutely overwhelmed. Well done! I arranged a surprise 80th birthday meal for my dad with a table of 20. You have an amazing team and could not fault anything or anyone on Sunday 9th March 2025. Imogen was fantastic and even when I booked online and then needed to add to the table numbers she personally took control and was so helpful and even when I attended on the morning to bring balloons and banners she said to ask for her when I arrived and she and the other staff helped me set the table ready. Nothing was to much trouble and she was so organised and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The food was faultless. A big thankyou to everyone. We enjoyed ourselves and have made special memories of such a wonderful day. Thanks again.

The service was really good and the place was clean however I ordered a burger and it tasted really strange, didn't eat the rest after the first bite.

Service was great- very quick but restaurant was busy. Waitress was efficient and friendly. Welcome was nice. Salad bar was well-stocked and nacho starter lovely. We shared the ultimate rib roundup. Both unfortunately felt ill shortly after - stomach cramps, needing the loo repeatedly. My symptoms came on quite soon, whereas my husband was ill the next day. The ribs did taste a bit odd but we enjoyed the rest of the meal so didn't say too much and left most the ribs. I called today to discuss with the manager and unfortunately the reception I got to my concern was very blunt and uncaring. I was told that it couldn't be food poisoning if I'd become ill within the hour - I've researched this and you can get symptoms very soon after consumption. I was told I'd be contacted about this further. I was disappointed at how the situation was handled and felt I was accused of not being truthful. It's a shame as we had a nice time but now don't feel like returning.

I ordered a burger and it was a huge disappointment. The patty was completely burnt and extremely dry, making it almost inedible. On top of that, my order was incomplete. When you order food, you expect it to be properly cooked and complete—after all, it’s meant for eating. This was a very frustrating experience.

I waited for a mixed grill and arrived In 15 mins! Which a was great time to be honest! Only to be disappointed that the chicken was missing and the mushroom. No staff mentioned anything so I asked why these items were missing! They was quick to get it sorted! Then I was greeted with black chargrilled mushroom! Disgusting! So I kindly asked for it to be replaced. Then I had a bowl of mushrooms offered which were all black and burnt! Obviously chefs don’t take pride in their cooking or have very few skills to even cook a mushroom so it’s not burnt!. The manager wouldn’t even come and speak to me at the bar and the staff didn’t know what to do! I just asked for a refund which was granted. Worst place for food! Avoid!

Our server Zoe was fantastic especially with my 7yr old daughter she must of picked up that she was autistic and involved her in every step of order getting down to her level and asking her what she wanted to also letting her press the tablet and tell her that she had just sent her order to the kitchen to be made. Zoe was interacting with my daughter all the way through out meal up until we left and giving an extra treat of sweets as we was leaving. Zoe is a fantastic member of staff at the harvester and if we come again will request Zoe as our server

Popped in on the off chance. The ladies who took you to your seat were rude, and even though there was a table available, she made some excuses about not sitting there. It was in the way. But other people sat at the next table. Also, she started to say the food would take a long time to come. She walked off, so we walked out. We were very hungry, so we would have sat anywhere

Harriet is a lovely polite waitress and always makes us feel welcome. We are regulars and The dog always accommodate our requests if possible.

We stopped going to Harvesters about 5 years ago as the prices were increasing, but the food quality and portions were really poor. So we decided to see if it changed, if this branch is anything to go by, we we pleasantly surprised. Great service, brilliant new menu and the food was really good quality and huge portions... had a really good experience. Looks like Harvester listened to its customers

This Friday night 15th Februar ir was our Friend's Birthday, We went for a meal at the dog pub near Redditch. The food was really lovely. The young Lady who was looking after us was Called Tonii we were all impressed with her professional, attentiveness approach to serving us and other's. We all had a lovely night and would like to thank Tonii again.

Went for a valentines meal yesterday had two waitresses Harriet and Tonii and received the best service I could ask for, they knew exactly what they were doing. Food was delicious went for the double skewers with a side of mac and cheese which I couldn’t finish. But I couldn’t resist being offered a desert menu so I had a Lemmon blizzard which was honestly beautiful.

Had a good meal here this evening. Friendly, helpful and efficient service from Tonii. Nice food, reasonably priced

Me and my family (My mrs and 15month old baby daughter) entered the Harvester and asked if a table was available with a high chair, the lady was very nice and greeted us and told us although there were no tables in the restaurant area we could still sit at a table towards the bar area and order food either using the app or at the bar, we tried using the app but had a payment issue so we decided to order at the bar. So after around 15 minutes sitting at a table, my mrs went to the bar and tried to place the order for us, I was going to have Scampi and Chips and a pint of lager and because of the lager they asked her for ID, to which she presented her ID which is legitimate. Unfortunately because she has a European ID and isn't from England, they denied us service and she was a little upset at the way they took it away to the back room before returning with a manager to refuse the order. What a joke, they could clearly see we had our daughter with us and I had driven to the location (I AM 38 years OLD and in the past I've been a local to this pub), we went to another pub instead and had food (and a beer) without any issues

Went for a valentine’s day meal we had both harriet and tonii serving us who were both lovely and provided excellent service. the food was good and tasty hopefully next time we have room for dessert

Went here on the 6th Feb to find out they had no heating and no fish so had gammon then to find out they have got no eggs they said the cooker was broken the gammon wes well over cooked and dry not good

Lovely food off the 2 courses for £14 each. Anna and Harriet, our waitresses were lovely, too. Very attentive. I'd definitely recommend it here. My only negative is that the blinds are full of dust, and it's a bit chilly in here! You can only use your blue light discount on the app too😡. How does that make sense, as not everyone uses apps!

Disappointing experience. The 20-minute wait was manageable, but the food quality was inconsistent. My ultimate mixed grill was a real letdown. The rump steak was incredibly tough, the sausages were frankly awful, and the chicken was dry, though it did have some flavor. The ribs were the only saving grace. The gammon was half decent, half chewy, and the mushroom was cold with a strangely presented half-raw tomato. They were out of eggs, and instead of the extra mushrooms I requested, I received a pot of baked beans. My partner's BBQ chicken stack also had issues, with a third of the chicken being inedible. We both upgraded to loaded fries, but neither of us enjoyed them. While the service was fine, the chef definitely needs some attention to detail and quality control.

Toilets need a clean and please replace or bin the toilet brushes , the state of the toilets practically put me off my food. Staff were friendly. I was happy with my food ,but way over priced which is not the staffs fault :)

Had such a lovely meal! We was served by Anna who has served me before and she was really attentive as usual and nothing was too much for her! The food was incredible too, really recommend the mac and cheese! :)

Gammon was quite awful, baked beans were cold and were returned 3 times until I gave up asking. Peas are also certainly not their forte. Table staff were wonderful just a shame about the food.

Very hospitable staff, nice location and good food.

The waitress was very good, knowledgable about the menu, and polite. The food was appalling. My (teenage) children had mixed grills that had clearly been cooked before the meals for the rest of the party and then sat under a heat lamp for, I suspect, at least 10 minutes, if not longer. The gammon was cremated to within an inch of its life (we couldn’t actually identify it as gammon at first, we thought a rib had been put on their plate by accident) and the steak (ordered medium) was well done and literally like leather. I checked Miller and Carter prices and their steak is similar price to this mixed grill. There’s simply no comparison and as a result I cannot see me visiting or recommending others to visit a Harvester for a very long time. My thanks to the waitress who did her absolute best in what was frankly an awful situation. The food was no reflection on her, she just had to deal with the fallout. The chef and restaurant should be embarrassed at what they served. Where have your standards gone, to send out food in such a poor state and expect people to pay for it? One star is too much but no stars is apparently not allowed.

Nice lunch time stop off. Colder in the pub than outside! But friendly waitress imogen ensured we didn't wait long for our food which was as good as always here.

Absolutely lovely food, lovely staff, who are all very friendly and courteous! The only thing that lets The Dog down is the fact that it is absolutely freezing cold in there. Please do something about the heating. As much as I don’t want to go else where I will have to until the heating is sorted out.

Harriet is the best waitress ever. Such a lovely polite lady. Can't do enough for you. I would give her 10 stars.

Breakfast: Classic English - 4 out of 5 stars. Dinner: The Rack of Ribs was delicious and perfectly cooked, definitely the best in the house, especially with the sweet potato chips and salad. The dog is conveniently placed for me with good food and friendly service. My half chicken today was excellent and our waitress Anna was really good with nothing being too much trouble. My only general criticism is that when it is incredibly busy the salad bar doesn't get restocked enough and they do run out of things occasionally but it is still our preferred go to if we need to eat

Went there on a vibrant Saturday night as to be expected. Staff were fantastic even though they we're rushed off their feet. Food was lovely, kids ate all of it. Jessica ( one of the waitresses) was lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Cheers

Brilliant food and amazing staff. Nothing was too much trouble and the warm and friendly atmosphere was great. Best steak I've had in a long time!! *** EDIT - no idea on the names of the staff but a wonderful lady with red hair greeted us and kept popping by to check on us, a young girl also served us and the bar staff were male and such a giggle. All were a credit to the company!

Was greeted by a lovely lady that showed us to a table following my request. Our sever, Anna was very thorough and very friendly. The only thing to cause disappointment was the salad cart. Poorly replenished, resulting in bringing it to a staff members attention in the first occasion and having to wait around on the second. Inconvenient more so with children. As I’m catering for my than my needs.
