Went in for an impromptu late lunch. We were more than satisfied with the meal, service and friendly staff especially our waitress Paula.

Two many children running into staff with food. Has a lot of unruly children go here. Good menu with good choice. Staff a little slow. Good food and a good price. Best to go here when children are in school.

The food came out quite cold and just generally looked sad. It's a shame. We've been quite a lot over the years and the last few times the food is just lacking and poor quality for what you're paying. If you're gluten free you sign away your rights and no alternative bread etc is on offer so you pay normal price for what feels like half a meal. Flexibility should be on offer here. There isn't much choice for people with a gluten allergy. Sorry but we've decided not to go again...such a shame as we used to go a lot and the kids liked it too especially the salad bar.

17 of us went to the harvester for my daughters birthday staff were really welcoming and the food was great

A lovely experience at harvester this evening enjoying their 50% of mains. Our lovely server Louise had some amazing suggestions and was really helpful with what was available on the menu.generally a lovely place!! Good food and great members of staff.

Very slow service throughout visit. Pasta dish was a microwave meal. We were sitting near to the kitchen serving area and saw one chef take some chips from a prepared dinner and eat them. Not good

'Sundae Worst' rather than best. Sad to say this item has become a kids portion! And it's still £6.49! Don't waste your money folks it's a rip off

Food was ready and on counter under the heat lamps but was not served for about 10 minutes. As a result the food had dried out

We went to the harvester this morning as a start to our weekend holiday on the way to Gatwick airport! Kate was very welcoming from start to finish! Very efficient! Drinks came quickly, food came quickly and it was all fantastic! My husband said that his 4oz rump steak was the best cooked steak he's ever had!

New look same old service. Waited over an hour for food to come out cold really disappointed and won't be coming back. Restaurant was cold to the point my kids were shivering non of the bread or salad was kept topped up

The much needed refurb has really made a difference. We used the 50% off mains promo. Our waitress was Paula and as usual she was friendly, polite and attentive but not overbearing. She also handled an unnecessarily rude customer with respect, politeness and a smile. Food was good, hot and plentiful. Will be back to try the newly added menu items.

Great location, recently refurbished very clean except friendly staff, we will return very soon.

We went here for dinner Thursday and very glad to return to out favourite Harvester . Our server was Iryna who dealt with our needs excellently. The Management member was Dan who made sure everyone was happy and covid safe . We had an amazing meal and my steak was cooked to perfection! we always have a great quality meal here and will return soon. Well done all at the Britannia.

Surprisingly it was rather quiet at the Brittania Harvester at Lancing on Boxing Day eve. Our waitress Evie was super kind and caring to all of us. We had a mixed company with 1 nearly deaf elderly lady and not English! She was patient and kind. The food was very fresh and well presented. The salad bar as always very yummy 😋.

When I went to the harvester on Christmas eve I saw 3 dogs in the bar area. So I came back on Christmas day with my dog and as soon as we stepped through the door we were told to leave cause we don't allow dogs in. Most people who have asked online is the harvester dog friendly and it says yes outside and welcomed in the bar area.

We walked in on the off chance of getting a table on a festive break away and were seated immediately. Boni was absolutely lovely, dressed festively. She was attentive and cheery. All of the staff were. The food came out super quick which is great with 3 hungry kids and it was delicious! If we lived near the area we'd come all the time! Absolutely lovely!

Great meal out for a group of 10 family and friends. A bit noisy, but what do you expect 10 days before Christmas. Excellent service from Paula - took our order so quickly and accurately despite the background noise and our group being distracted at times. Lots of small amendments to standard dishes all dealt with well.

We went with friends for the Santa breakfast. I had the chance to brief Santa without my twins hearing that we were off on holiday and to let him know he'd given special permission for us to open Christmas gifts early. Santa should have won a BAFTA for his acting skills, he was brilliant. He was a really convincing Santa, amazing with my 'story' and great with the kids. The breakfast was good too, excellent service from the waiting staff. Highly recommended.

We come on a Monday morning, it was so quiet and our waiter Millie was lovely she checked some allergens out on the tablet for me which made my experience great.

We always have a good experience but Paula ALWAYS goes above a beyond for us. We absolutely love her

Everything was great, until our waitress had to keep going out of our serving area. This meant our food was left to go cold on the pass 10 mins & none of the other waitresses seems to want to jump in. We weren't the only ones, 2 other tables also had the same issue, one of them sent food back to be redone.

Birthday meal in December, although really busy, Alisha, our waitress was on the ball. Food came out hot. Good selection.

Food was good, plate had a tendency to rotate as you tried to cut anything. Member of staff was friendly and helpful. Toast was chewy like a cheap white loaf but everything else was good.

My family and I celebrated a little Christmas get together here and we had a great time. We were given an area to ourselves so it was great to get up and move around to see everyone. Food was good for the money, especially the festive menu. Our server Louise was fantastic, very attentive and always happy to help. So thank you Louise! My family and i came in a few days ago and had the most fantastic service from Millie, she was so attentive, helpful and accommodating! Any issues were sorted near enough immediately and she gave amazing menu suggestions. Could not recommend her more her service was amazing, plates were cleared straight away and glasses were never empty. The food was fantastic and we will definitely be back!

This was our first visit since the refurbishment, and we liked the new fresh, modern look and warm atmosphere. The food was delicious – everything was cooked to perfection and served hot. A special shoutout to our waitress, Kate, who made the experience even better. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome. It’s rare to find such excellent customer service these days, and Kate truly went above and beyond. Overall, a great start to the day! We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a hearty breakfast in a lovely setting.

Wonderful food, Alisha the waitress who served us was super considerate about my food allergies and was really nice about figuring out what was best with my food restrictions. The ribs were tender and fell off the bone and the sweet potato fries were splendid. Def coming back!!!

I came in just for a drink and was greeted warmly by Paula. Very pleasant experience. Was so warm and friendly. Atmosphere was amazing.

Beautiful pub, great staff especially Trish, and the best vegan breakfast we'd had out. Perfect stop for us on the way home from a Butlins weekender. Have used before and will do again when in the area.

I recently dined at The harvester with my partner, and I have to say, the food was absolutely delicious! Each dish was bursting with flavor, and you can really tell they use fresh ingredients. The staff were lovely, always attentive and friendly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a great place to eat with amazing food and wonderful service, I highly recommend The Harvester. I can't wait to go back!

Popped in on Monday 28th October on the off chance, was shown a table quickly, has been refurbished since last visit, very nice decor etc. salad bar was good, we both ordered spit roast chicken which was cooked beautifully and very tasty. Special thanks to Millie our waitress who was very attentive and friendly.

Rubbish food and staff did not care

When we went Trish was our server and she was really nice and the service was really good. However when the food arrived it was mostly cold and some of the food was under cooked. However it weren’t worth saying anything due to waiting so long

We visited just after refurbishment and all went well. Great food, great service and great atmosphere.

Update on my previous review. This visit was better and although the breakfast isn't unlimited anymore the quality has improved. Sausages are much better, everything was hot and the service was good. I would recommend the breakfast and will probably have the classic next time as the ultimate is massive! See my picture

It's really nice inside since the refurbishment, much fresher. The food was good, but there seems to be a lot of chilly used in a lot of the dishes now. Overall, it was a decent meal, reasonably priced.

Boni was amazing, very friendly and helpful with allergies and dietary issues. Good selection of food and loads of variety within the section of food you’re wanting: chicken, beef, starters, sides! Fairly quiet and the salad bar is what makes the harvester, the harvester!!!

The containers in the salad bowl were practically empty so looked very unappealing. Had to ask for some things to be filled up, surely soeome's job is to keep an eye on the salad bar refills? The table service was way too slow. i had to go and walk araound the restaurant to find someone as there was no staff in the restaurant. The person behind the bar had to go 'out the back' to find someone. Food was nice but unfortunately, our chicken skewers had been overcooked so could only eat half of them.

Was served by waitress Kate at the lancing Harvester, such a friendly person and helped so much with my friend who was disabled and was kind, polite and helpful. Nothing was of any hassle when asked. Kate is definitely a waitress to have you serve your table. 5 star service from her.

Food was well cooked and service level was acceptable. The man who greeted us at the door to seat us was very good, explaining where everything was and changes to the menu. The parking here is free. There are toilets in the restaurant. Even though it was busy we were not rushed through our meal.
