Awful experience for my birthday meal. staff scruffy, cold food which I sent back, never to be seen again as my family had finished their dinners, I didn't want to eat on my own.. No apology from anyone, they also thought they were doing me a favour taking the meal, that I never got off the bill.. Will never go to this place again.. They don't warrant any stars whatsoever..

Very limited menu. Food sitting waiting for ages. One chef touching face/ nose and then touching food. Took ages and was not hot. Waitress frantic

This place was absolutely filthy. You could literally order cobwebs as a side there were so many. We ordered breakfast and the egg options were the typical fried scrambled or poached.... We wanted scrambled. They didn't have scrambled....... Work that one out. If you have eggs you can make scrambled right!?! I had to ask for clean knives as all the ones we had old food stuck to them. The professionalism was out the window. The manager was on the phone while he did our bill and no one asked checked back on us. The place is a dive and needs a whole new revamp in decor and their training. Really disappointed. Shame it used to be such a great please.

Came in and server was rude. We sat down and saw cobwebs all over the place and the tables and chairs were dirty. We ordered and they didn’t have eggs, sausages or coffee, how is that possible? We got our food and came to eat but had to stop as our cutlery was covered in food marks and scratches. Food was alright but some stuff was over and under cooked. And when it came to pay, the server was on the phone and didn’t say anything just let us pay and leave.

A few mistakes made with our orders,but food was hot and tasty when it came, it was a busy Tuesday lunch service, staff seemed flustered, otherwise a nice meal.

The food was cooked well however the salad bar was practically empty and lots of dirty tables while we were there. This did get cleaned up while we were leaving but wasn't a nice environment to sit in at the time.

Hilary was an excellent waitress. Sage & onion chips were salty though.

The salad from the bar was fine. I might have done the main meal justice without the salad starter. I ordered the Dirty Burger, which was difficult to cut. I hardly touched the pile of chips! The portions were too big. Others in the group enjoyed their meal, particularly the one vegan and one vegetarian. Like many places, the prices are now quite high. Our bill came to £104 for 4 adults and 3 children.

Been to this harvester many of times The place has gone downhill the last month James hasnt been there. The new management are rude and not helpful at all - harvester need to sort this out..bring back James !!!!

We had two people from two different shifts dealing with our table. The first guy was very nice and polite, and the second person was a bit unhappy to be there. The starter was very nice and quick, but for the mains, we waited over 45 minutes, and when the food arrived, it was cold, and the meat was hard. Two new tables that came after us received their mains before us, which was annoying. This visit was a big disappointment for us after all the other experiences, and it is the first time we have been let down by Harvester.

Excellent service from staff, i forget the ladys name but she was very good advising us of what deals etc was on. Great for families, cheap as anything, not bad food

duty manger very rude i came earlier on this evening paid left happily however realised i had lost my bank card called to say i think i left it there ect asked if she could look she was very passive aggressive about it and seemed like she couldn’t be bothered or careless and actually slammed the phone down on me for no reason didn’t take my details as she claimed she would let me no tomorrow i even tipped the waitress there to then be treated like this later on. Duty manger needs to fix her attitude i was just asking if you could check if my card was there never visiting here again as for the girl who served us thank you for being polite unlike your duty manager.

I’m afraid to say it’s the worst Dinner I’ve ever had from the Blacksmiths Arms Harvester in High Wycombe for my family of 6 adults. The soda drinks machine wasn’t working so there were no diet drinks available at all. The service was painfully slow, our food took an hour to arrive (On a Tuesday night!) and it was mainly overcooked or burnt, dry, tasteless and cold! 2 mixed grills and 2 loaded burgers came up woefully short on quality and taste. The burgers were so burnt they were inedible. Absolutely awful! It was my birthday, I rarely eat out anymore but we all thought it was dreadful and we won’t be back. I always used to love the Harvester but today it hit rock bottom. I did complain about the burgers being inedible and my youngest got a free choc brownie. Hardly compensation for such poor food and cooking. I don’t know if your chef had been shot and you brought in a load of randoms off the street to cook for the night but that’s how it tasted?? Only 1 plus, our waitress was polite and apologetic but we won’t be back. Gutted!!

I have been here a couple of times with my partner normally for our anniversary for the last 5 years, but today was a casual date and the service from Hilary was superb, she's very friendly and helpful, and the food was fantastic 5/5 would love Hilary to serve us again.

Went here with my partner , fantastic food and service from Hilary and Ashton, they seemed rather busy the night we went but the wait time for food was small, would recommend.

No refill drinks available, only one steak available, the one rib eye that did arrive was tough and cold. The only redeeming feature was the desserts 🍨

It was very cold outside and could of been a bit warmer inside.

Went for brunch- We wont go again. They weren't doing scrambled eggs, had no soft drinks and don't do decaf coffee. Fried egg was not cooked properly and toast was burnt. Poached eggs were more like a hard boiled egg. Don't get me wrong I don't expect gourmet but decent would be nice.

The service here was warm, friendly, and caring. I think I was served by Sarah and she was great! The interior seemed well looked after, although I was sat under the air-con which was a tiny bit annoying, but I appreciate they were busy and space was limited. Food arrived quickly and was as expected. The black filter coffee was great!

The waitress could have been more helpful with my wife’s allergies, but redeemed herself by telling us about the 50% meal deal via the harvester app

The food is really quite good, especially for the price but I'd say 4 stars for the food but I've left 5 stars overall because Angie was so lovely, she's always so welcoming and friendly and we are delighted when we see she's on shift when we come in!

This establishment didn't even deserve one star. Table not ready when we arrived, even tho we made our booking 5 weeks earlier. Service was very poor by majority of staff, maybe give them 0ne deserved star. Manager was a complete joke, although if he did stand up, most people wouldn't laugh. Food arrived over an hour after we booked. Ribs were dry as cardboard, items missing off plates, requests not completed. Would we ever return? Only if all restaurant/eateries within a 10 mile radius were fully booked, even then would seriously have to think about it. Blacksmiths Arms, a total disgrace to the Harvester Name

Came for breakfast, very good produce, (had the ultimate full English). Staff were very good. Haven't rated harvester in the past. But was very surprised.

We waited ages for our food when it arrived the dirty burger and fries were cold the other burger arrived and it was the wrong burger and the jacket potato was cold. The other main we were waiting for arrived 20 minutes after the others. Over all it was not an enjoyable experience

For New Years Day we decided to come here today as a treat. It was lovely! The greeter and our server were very friendly. The Service was quick,the Toilets were clean and it was cosy and nicely decorated inside. The food was delicious,it is lovely to have the Unlimited Salad Bar so you don’t have to wait for food as you can already eat. The food was fresh and tasty. I love the Unlimited Drinks machine too,very tasty and flavourful. For my main I went for the Smokehouse Pork Belly which was delicious and I loved the added flavour of the Onions and Sauce. The Corn was lovely,the Corn being cooked gave it a lovely taste and the Chips were delicious. The garden is beautifully decorated and the Christmas Decs are lovely. The only downsides of this place are that there is only one Gluten Free option for Mains and that it is a bit chilly inside. Also today there was no Rotisserie Chicken or Steak available so be prepared that they might not have what you want on the menu. I would highly recommend the Blacksmiths Arms Harvester. The tacos are absolutely and utterly atrocious, chicken is extremely dry and was appalled would not recommend ordering tacos at all from the high Wycombe Harvester. despicable from whoever is at fault for ruining are ok meal, you should not eat the tacos, go somewhere else if you are into nice Mexican food. The sides were good but the tacos were inedible. It was a shambolic performance from the Blacksmiths Arms, Harvester, High Wycombe. Overall decent sides but the tacos were diabolical and should never have been made whoever came up with the idea should be punished.

Despite what was clearly an extremely busy afternoon (Father's Day) we seated promptly and treated very well by all members of staff. Particular shout out to Hilary, who did a great job of looking after us during my visit. The food was well presented, hot and arrived and despite the business of the restaurant the right sort of pace, to allow us to relax and take my time over the meal. We never felt pressured in any way. I'll be back!

We brought my mother in law for dinner on Boxing Day, very friendly staff & good service, everyone enjoyed the meal.

We went with the kids for the Father Christmas brunch, the waitress was spot on and couldn't do enough for all of us. Having the kids meet the big man was enjoyable for all of them. We did nearly have a meltdown when we were told one of the brunch items from the kids menu wasn't available, even though that menu is very limited. Other than, spot on!
