Harvester in Sheffield

We stopped off for breakfast before a shopping trip, we were met at the door by Shelley then given a choice of tables. Breakfast selection is great with plenty of drink choice too.

Had a fab lunch, the staff were all dressed for Halloween and looked fab. Served by May and she was great. Good atmosphere too .

Great and friendly service that was really quick. Shelly was my server and she was really attentive and friendly compared to when I have been served in other outlets .

An excellent breakfast and a good value for money! Our server was Emily and she was very welcoming and polite and made the experience very pleasant and enjoyable :)

The food was good but Emma’s service was fantastic. She was brilliant with my children, very lovely and chatty. My son and I had the rotisserie chicken which was lovely. Build your own sundae is always popular with our children. I had chocolate fudge cake, I ate it but it wasn’t great. Not warm enough so the cake was a bit dry

Shelly was the lovely lady that served us and wow wow wow what excellent fab service she provided. she checked in on us to make sure everything was fab (it all was because of her) she was super speedy as well, marvel should of cast her as quick silver because of her super speed and good looks. all around a very happy bundle of little darlings (as she called us) she made sure to make us feel extra special. so we give an EXTRA special thank you to the fabulous stunning Shelly (the goat)!!💜💜

We rarely go out for a breakfast and decided to try Harvester as a change of scene - had dinners before but not a breakfast. The classic and ultimate breakfasts were both amazing and very filling - also get unlimited coffee refills which isn’t at the other similar competing chain restaurant nearby to the one in Meadowhall Sheffield. Our young son had banana and chocolate pancakes which he also loved! Very friendly staff and Shelly serving us on the morning was very quick to deal with us and was attentive throughout! We will probably keep harvester as our breakfast outing going forwards!

Our server was Shelly, who was absolutely wonderful to us, brilliant service and super cheerful, breakfast was lovely, will be returning 👍🏼

I visited the Harvester Centertainment and WOW what a fabulous place, the food was amazing, hot and delicious and delivered very quickly. The staff their were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble I would highly recommend this place. We had the Camembert sharer for starters it was fantastic, followed by the rib eye steak this was cooked to perfection the team explained in detail how it should be cooked to medium and boy it was the best steak I have every tasted. I finished with the baileys sundae this was to die for, I can’t praise the team and this place enough it was. Outstanding we will definitely be back.

Addy, the waitress who attended us when we visited the harvester was so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely service with a smile! Lovely place and lovely staff. Will definitely be returning.

We have enjoyed using Harvester restaurants for some years but it seems every time we go theres some thing that's not done properly. On this occasion the fish fingers for the kids were not cooked through. The previous time at centertainment they had run out of chicken believe it or not. I'd just avoid if I'm honest.

As a family of 4 we visited here prior to a visit to Sheffield Arena.We were greeted and sat down promptly and had a choice of tables.We were informed that our waitress would over “shortly”.After approximately 20 minutes of waiting and we had still not seen a server, we asked the person who was sitting guests down to order. He stated he would get them to come over - after 5 mins she eventually arrived and the order was placed.The food was standard Harvester - perfectly fine and arrived after a short while.After we had finished our food, again we sat and waited for a member of staff to come over to clear plates, take another drinks order or take a dessert order, which our kids were desperate for. We waited and waited and no one came.Again we had to chase the server for our bill - by this time we were worried we may miss the start of the Ice Hockey Match, so we paid and left - desertless!We were sat at our table for approx 90 mins and only spoke to our server twice and both times we had to chase her!This has to be the worst service I have ever experienced. There are plenty of other places to visit for a meal with much better service.

Called in for lunch, visited Harvester in Meadowhall before & thought would be as good. It was fresh, clean & warm but the food was not. I ordered the southern fried chicken burger, it was so spicy it burnt my tongue and the burger was all mushy and not crispy. It was not a pleasant experience & won’t be going back. It wasn’t busy but still kept waiting to be served. Salad bar was ok. Pleasant atmosphere pity about the food.

We ate here for a family meal, even though we hadn't been for years, & we where very DISAPPOINTED. The service was poor, we had to clean are high chair , ask for a kids colour pack, the breakfast food was still out so the was no salad bar. To top it off my daughter's food came out & her veg sticks where MOULDY !!! Will not be eating here again very very very DISAPPOINTED.

Not been for several months as was not pleasant experience. However, friend was with wanted to go. It has had a makeover & must have new chef because was much better than previous visits. Food arrived quite quickly ( but it was empty) & was ok, hot & fresh. Looking around a lot of empty plates. Will definitely give it another visit.

We visited for lunch today. The salad bar was the best part of the meal. Very disappointed with quality of the meals. My husband said the steak on his mixed grill was poor and commented the steak we buy at a local supermarketwas better quality. Overpriced.Staff were polite and helpfulSorry but wont be visiting again

Waited 25 minutes before anybody came to take our drink/food order. The same waitress who was taking people to their table was also cleaning tables, taking orders and bringing food to the tables sometimes the table cleaning consisted of moving dirty plates to the next table and not even wiping them down. Nobody took away our salad and starter bowls just kept adding more plates to our table. Starter and Salad was mediocre, soggy nachos and raw potato salad. Must admit main course of roast chicken and sweet potato fries was very tasty and cooked well but the service was terrible, won’t be in a rush to return.

We visited this restaurant during my recent trip to Meadowhall. We took advantage of a special deal on the main courses. We found the atmosphere to be very pleasant and the staff were very welcoming. Our waitress was very helpful and our main courses arrived quickly. There was a good choice from the salad bar, my ribs were delicious, I loved the look of the desserts but I didn’t have one as trying to shed a few pounds from Christmas. There was nothing that we disliked during our visit and will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

We were seated quickly, and the waitressesowever this was when the good service ended. Quiet Saturday afternoon so not too busy however as it was quiet the waitresses seemed to hide in a corner gossiping to one another instead of attending to their customers needs.I had to leave my table several times as I could not see anyone for 5+ minutes (to me this is unacceptable when it is clear that the place is not busy).No-one came to take our drinks or food order, however a lady did go to clean a table behind us while we were clearly waiting for our order to be taken.I had to ask several times for the bill - leaving the table to ask I found the waitress stood in the corner chatting to another waitress...I am a regular visitor to Harvester but would avoid this one in the future.Good location for Sheffield arena, however plenty of other eating establishments to choose from.

Thank you to Christianna who served us this morning for breakfast. We came for my dads birthday. Very lovely, bubbly and polite. Thank you for the wonderful service. Highly recommend Harvester and Christianna, fantastic service, thank you.

Having been here before it was a choice we was looking forward to. Having entering the resturant we was met my a young manager and waitress who was still clearing/ replying a table for me and my partner. Having gave menus we waited 15 min untill someone came over and asked what we would like to order not a drink just food. We waited for out starters 25 minutes, baring in mind every time i walked passed the pass to grab some salad it was stood there waiting to be brought out by a waitress. We order nachos and garlic bread. The garlic bread was cold and there was no cheese on it? Even though in the menu it says " garlic bread with cheese". We had no check backs on our starters done. Then we got out burgers which we orderd. The waitress did not even clear the starters just left them at the side of the table not even asked if everything was ok with either starters or mains. With my main I orders a jacket poetoes. It did not even come wi5h butter I had to get up my self and get some from the salad bar. You could clealry tell they was short staff and none of them knew that they was doing. We didn't pay alot for the food as we had a AA voucher to use up. If we did not have the voucher I would of not payed what the originally bill said. Having worked in this industry I know how a resturant is run and it's not like this. No check backs food going out slow. The resturant was not even busy this is the annoying thing. The place has gone down hill. I wouldn't go here again. Management be warned.

Called in for my lunch and got simply chicken with veg and gravy. Everything was cold and to the veg had no taste to it, gravy was like water. Very disappointed.

Needed a bite to eat after shopping and chose here as it didn’t look too busy. As I am on SlimmingWorld I had the free unlimited salad bowl and then chose the salmon with Jacket potato and vegetables with Hollandaise sauce. My husband had a chicken and bacon cheese burger with fries. Unlimited coke and black coffee for our drinks was nearly £30 in total. We waited quite a while for our meals as it did get quite busy while we were there.(12 noon -1pm). The staff were pleasant and the salad bar was full with plenty of choice.

After a morning of shopping We chose to eat at the harvester as there was something for everyone on the menu. The unlimited soft drinks were great. The unlimited salad bar could have done with been a little better as the onions were dry and terrible and out of all the selection of salad it seemed onions were always left while they run out of other salad items. Looks like the onions had been pre prepared a long time as they definitely weren’t fresh. Also as a few times we had to ask for bread as there wasn’t any left but they were busy. The staff were polite. We all enjoyed our mains they were cooked lovely.

Very nice food but the coffee machine wasn't working. Good waitress service. Convenient location and nice layout of tables.

Went there this morning for a nice breakfast before Christmas shopping. Got seated easily. Waited 30 minutes for the food to come out and apart from the hash browns which were lukewarm, the rest of it was stone cold. We were not the only people to complain either. When you have poached eggs it is not advisable to eat them cold.

We called to the Harvester as we know it's a good place to eat. Food looked lovely, however my ribs, jacket potato, and corn on the cob were all cool. I was hungry so I thought I'd attack them anyway. When the plates were collected, the waiteress told us that there are no hot plates so the meals do cool down. Our friends ordered two puddings. I do appreciate that the kitchen was closing, however the puddings were cold and hard inside. Unfortunately these weren't edible. Although we appreciate that this was taken from our bill, we thought honest feedback would help with any improvements.

Came here for a meal with my husband while our daughter was at the lights switch on/concert..... lovely meal as always and I love the new lay out. Disappointed To come back again on Saturday at 12pm with my daughters to be told they couldn’t accommodate a table of 3 for at least 90 mins though. Wouldn’t reserve a table for us either so went elsewhere. I appreciate Saturday is a busy day but saw at least 3 free tables. Obviously our party was too small

We popped in for lunch and were very glad we did. The food was good and the prices were good, but best of all the service was brilliant, the waitress was very attentive and helpful, her name was Jess and nothing was too much trouble, she was polite and went the extra mile.

Tried a breakfast here for the first time and we were not disappointed. We went for the standard as opposed to paying extra for the free top up one. It was cooked to perfection and the staff were brilliant. I don't go to Meadowhall very often but if I do go again I will definitely visit Harvester.

We have used this restaurant several times in the past ,but never for breakfast.On the recommendation of my cousin we gave it a try.The restaurant was quite busy but we were seated quickly and a very pleasant young man by the name of Nathen came to take our order.He was very professional ,helpful and explained how everything worked.We both chose the regular style breakfast and helped ourselves to the toast cereal tea juices that were on offer.The breakfast arrived and were done beautifully.All in all a very nice breakfast ,good value for money good service and we will both be returning very soon .Thank you to Nathen your a credit to this restaurant.

Katie was our server today, we popped in for a really quick bite before the school run but didn’t realise how little time we had. So Katie recommended we each just had the unlimited salad bar so we didn’t have to wait for any food. This was a really good idea and me and my husband really enjoyed the selection of salad. Thanks Katie for allowing us the option of this. Will be back in the future for an actual meal

Lunch was not very good. Sauce was to much on my food. Also floor around the tables was not clean because some food on the floor. The tables was clean but not the floor.

Lovely meal, staff were lovely Laura and co...... even when querying the bill staff were helpful... shame they seemed to have run out of some menu items but wha5 we had was nice

There's always been a wide choice at Meadowhall, especially breakfast time and never really gave this a look but I'm glad today we did.Friendly warm welcome, and a good selection from the menu.Nice breakfast,tasty, no long wait and set us up for the day.Not sure on the all you can eat, but the set traditional English was nice and just enough.Will be returning the next time we visit.

Dinner: We booked a table online for a 40th birthday dinner with family. Service was excellent and the food very tasty. I really liked the salad bar, especially the warm bread rolls. The chocolate birthday cake we ordered online beforehand wasn't exactly what I was expecting but they gave it to us for free and it tasted really nice. Four waitresses joined in singing me happy birthday (although they didn't know my name which they could have easily found that out had they wanted to). We enjoyed our family meal out. Breakfast: We also booked a table for a 45th birthday breakfast two days later. We haven't had a Harvester breakfast before. Good selection at the continental bar (really tasty pancakes that I could warm up in the microwave). Croissants were missing. I didn't like their poached eggs (cooked differently to how I would normally eat them) so they kindly made me scambled eggs. I don't know why they charged me 99p for an orange juice when I thought it came included with the full £8.99 breakfast but I didn't want to find a waitress to ask as we had family members with us. Children's breakfast cost £1.99 each where they would have been free if you had breakfast in a Premier Inn hotel. It wasn't busy when we arrived but it got busier by the time we left, We would have breakfast or dinner at this Harvester again in the future. Good location as we had a look around the shops in Meadowhall straight after. Parking is free.

What a lovely treat! Decided to go to harvester after a busy day shopping for my nieces birthday presents! Never been in a harvester like this one before, the unlimited salad bar is a fabulous idea & the unlimited refills were a brilliant idea for the younger kids in our group. Annabel was our waitress & went above and beyond to make our visit memorable! Will definitely be visiting again.

Called in today for something to eat and they had no chicken ready would I like chicken breast instead. I asked how long the chicken was going to take, she came back and said we don't have any. This was at 15.45 and the place was empty

Had a lovely lunch with my children, good menu but would like to see a lighter options section or choices like jacket potatoes and sandwiches, but on the whole a varied menu.

I went there with my daughter in law, daughter and granddaughter. We ordered, service was very slow. I ordered gammon and made it clear the yellow of my egg needed to be cooked hard as it would make me ill if not. My food came last, egg looked ok, till cut into it yellow all over my gammon. I had to send it back. It came back at lightening speed, which made me wonder as then the egg looked like it had been fried to half an egg, I think they refried other one. My daughter and I both had sweet potatoe fries, they were greasy and undercooked, but didn't want to send food back. Said when we finished, waitress said you should have had them re-done and walked off. Tables were packed so near, people kept asking me to get off my chair for them to get past, while I was eating. I have been before but this time was awful.

We come here with our 2 year old daughter on a Sunday morning before the shops open. Its lovely and quiet and the staff are very friendly. Good continental breakfast selection and the hot full english is served nice too...proper charcoal taste to the bacon and sausage! Happy to keep returning now following the refurb!

I visited this restaurant with a friend we were shown to a table and then the waitress walked off saying she would be right back, she didn't return, we spent ages trying to get someone's attention to order, we placed our order and nothing was mentioned about the salad bar, we saw other customers get up so asked them, we ordered soft drinks with our food and our meals were bought out with no drink, we had to ask where the drinks were and there was yet another wait. After the meal we asked two separate members of staff for the bill as the first person never came back. The restaurant is fine and so is the food but I won't be returning due to the staff, it was frustrating chasing after them!

Had a meal here after a shopping trip to Meadowhall. Everywhere was very busy. We choose from the lunch menu. It is what it is. Pub grub! But having said that it was hot, nicely presented and the salad bar is good and makes a nice starter.The staff are helpful and polite. The restaurant was clean and modern. Would go again.

I eat here on a regular basis, the food is always fab, exactly how I order and tastes great every time. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and they all seem to be enjoying their jobs. The place looks great after the recent refurbishment, such an improvement! Highly recommend!

went for a meal whilst visiting friends. lovely grub,4 mains and 4 sweets and a bottle of wine for around £75. one of my party mentioned it was my birthday and the beautiful waitress JESS overheard and brought out my sweet with a candle and another member of staff to sing happy birthday to me! a wonderful gesture and the ever smiling jess is obviousely a huge assett to this business. little things like this that makes people come back.

Very nice restaurant with a good range of hot food. I like the unlimited soda drink refills and the salad/pasta bar. It's not a cheap place but wouldn't say it's too expensive either. I would certainly recommend a visit.

Stopped here for lunch in the week. Busy but not crowded. Pick of salad to start, lovely and fresh. Good sized meal portions, plenty of choice on menu. Dessert menu good. Well presented. Pleasant efficient staff. Refills are worth having. Four people, four different meals. No complaints. Will return.

Went there last night after shopping at Meadowhall.Nice friendly staff to met you on arrival.The restaurant wasn't over busy, but it was around 8 ish on a Tuesday night. Personally it's idea for what we wanted having the kids with us. Free re-fills on the soft drinks, the free salad bar etc....Main meals were all good, given the options to swap fries for the sweet potato fries, nice touch at no added cost either.All in good, but I think personally it's expensive for what you are getting though

We were all Starving the good thing about Meadowhall is that there are lots of Restaurants to choose from.We made a good choice with Harvesters. A salad is always included as a free starter with your meal and you can choose a wide variety of Salads foods.The main course of Chicken stack was very tasty and you get large portions. Friendly helpful staff too.

Ladies night the restaurant was busy we had ask for someone to take our order. 3 starters came out sat waiting for the fourth one for another 10 mins, we hadn't finished and they brought the main meals out, we sent them back they were left on the hot plate - the meals had dryer out Not Good

I meet my auntie here, she just loves the place, so do I , food great the staff are really friendly , it's busy but I think that makes the the pub.

The Harvester at Meadowhall is closed for about 2-3 weeks to undergo a complete refurbishment of the premises. Unfortunately this will not alter the food that is produced as the staff and menu are to remain unchanged!We visited about a week ago after being there last about eight months ago and found that it was just as bad as ever. We should have noticed the signs before going in. Other restaurants we passed that afternoon were moderately busy but on entering the Harvester only one other table was occupied with one just being vacated and it did seem a little like a ghost town! Later we realised why this was.Ordering simply grilled chicken and steak and chips from the lunch menu we thought that we would be OK but we were wrong. My steak was supposed to be medium-rare but turned out like old leather. When asked why this was, the answer was that as it was such a thin piece, they had difficulties making it as I wanted it done. Perhaps they have never heard of a minute steak! The chicken we had was just too dry! It had probably been cooked alright but then left too long before serving so that it dried out. The salad bar was much the same as usual but less interesting than the one at Harvester, Barlborough. The accompanying vegetables and chips were nothing to write home about with the baked potato being fit for only a starving person, nothing like what a baked potato should be. Really disappointing. The serving staff were trying to put a brave face on the situation but they didn't make the menu or cook the dishes. The overall management need to renew a lot more than the layout and appearance of the place - it is the food that matters and customers have obviously been voting with their feet and going elsewhere.

Called in for tea with family was a bit weary as 1st time i went it wasnt very good.But was glad i came back lovely food and salad bar would like to mention Niomi and sophie who served us it was busy but got served quickly sophie was on her 1st shift but i thought she did great and niomi was helping her to make sure our order was taken correct.They were both friendly and chatty please pass on my thanks to them both.

Just been in for a bite to eat with 3 other people 1st the gammon came our cold then a burger that was ordered had mould on the cob then no onion rings on the steak that was ordered not a pleasant visit at all we did get the gammon and burger off our price but the food was not good 2nd time now I've had a problem with harvester food now think they need to look at the chefs they employ

Visited on a Saturday afternoon after shopping trip. Very pleasant waitress and our food arrived very quickly piping hot . I had the chicken stack the chips were crispy with a light dusting of salt, two corn on the cob, red cabbage coleslaw made with rich mayo, a very large chicken breast smothered in cheese and BBQ sauce plus 3 smaller fillets of breaded chicken much too much for my appetite.... husband chose the fish and chips again massive portion the fish was literally hanging off the plate - a choice of garden or mushy peas he chose mushy obviously and they didn't disappoint either. Two drinks and two generous meals for £23 ! Bargain well done we shall come again very soon

The service is always brilliant really lovely staff that don't keep you waiting around. Food is nice, alot of choice for kiddies and every time we have been the unlimited salad bar has always been full with lots of variety! Would definitely recommend!

Can not fault the service. Our server was fantastic and very attentive. The food was had as a group was ok. My fish was swimming in grease. Another's chicken was dry and another's was a little too crispy, personally I would've said burnt. The salad bar was a mess. Food and ingredients mixed up and some even empty. Wouldn't visit again.

This place is a absolutely disgrace waited an hour people walking in after was getting there food before us had a chat with a so called manager said I was not happy and I was leaving she said that's your choice not recommended to anyone disgrace

lovely staff, food was brill, value for money, love this restaurant, our meals were excellent value for money, myself and my daughter had steak and chips and the hubby had peri, peri chicken and chips, all our food was cooked to our liking, the salad bar is amazing and plenty of choice, the pudding was fab too, we were all stuffed after our meal, highly reccomended!

Had a voucher for harvester and while in Meadowhell thought we would call in for a quick bite. Ordered the spicy chicken chorizo stacker. Service was fast and friendly and arrived about 10 minutes after ordering. Was plated up and presented nicely, tasted as well as it should. Chicken was slightly chewy, plenty of flavours. Service was fast and very friendly and very polite. We asked for a larger table due to my disability and was shown to a nice large table close to the salad bar. Overall for a quick meal for 2 cost £20 including a drink.

Nipped in for a breakfast before going to am early showing at the local cinema. We ordered the unlimited breakfast option. Staff were really friendly and attentive. When the breakfast arrived the sausages were burnt black, i was willing to overlook this with just feedback for the kitchen then i noticed my food was served on a dirty plate. When the 2nd breakfast arrived the sausages had no colour and were cold in the middle. The manager assures me that they were not raw as all sausages come in pre cooked????The complaint was dealt with straight away with a sincere apology.Mushrooms are nice and worth ordering a 2nd portion.

Lovely staff, willing to go out their way. Lovely food, options for veggies and vegans. Lovely salad bar. Often go with family. They often have deals/offers on which are well worth taking advantage of, just go on their website/app.

Came here for a family meal with aunty who came all the from Portsmouth. Brilliant service from the lovely waiter, came to check everything was okay more than once, fast with food and drinks. Only downside was the chicken was still a little pink and the steak was fatty. Good tolerance to rowdy hyper kids. Other than that we had a great time and will deffo come back Thank you for a great service xx

We had a nice enough meal but it was a bit of a let down. The larger option for the kids fish goujon meal was a small portion for a ten year old. There was a good portion of chips, but only three small goujons and a dessert spoon portion of baked beans. I had the duck which was really tasty. The sweet potato fries were not cooked well and didn't taste great.My partner enjoyed the mixed grill. The salad bar is great if you are really hungry waiting for your meal. The salad is nice but not the highest quality. The staff member who served us was very polite and friendly. He was great with kids too. Meals were a good price.

We were shown to our table and served by a waitress called Katie. She was very helpful and friendly explaining things to us on the menu and the fact if you ordered a main meal you get to visit the salad bar free which included freshly baked rolls. We ordered 2 meals a chicken breast burger and a rump steak, they were both lovely, very well cooked, the steak cooked to perfection, the meals came without a long wait, it was Saturday dinner and they were very busy queuing out the door.. The salad was very fresh and the rolls were still warm. We wanted a dessert but were too full. Our bill came again without a long wait considering they were very bust. I would definitely visit again, very enjoyable.

We were shown to our seats right next to the salad bar and drinks were soon brought to us..We ordered our meals- gammon, egg, pineapple ,peas n chips for me, and grilled chicken breast with buttery mash n peas for my friend.Meanwhile we were invited to help ourselves to a bowl of side salad and freshly baked rolls.The meals soon arrived- hot and tasty and real value for money.The waitresses in Harvester are so pleasant and friendly- it is a pleasure to get to know them.Our special waitress Adrienn was so obliging and nothing was too much trouble.We will be back.

Seated quickly by a friendly waitress, Nikki. I liked the fact we weren't seated near other customers, they spread everyone out. We knew of the unlimited salad but we discovered that the soft drink my stepdaughter ordered and my tea were also unlimited. Nikki came back a few times to see if I wanted a refill (you help yourself to the soft drinks). I liked the bread buns with the salad but thought it odd there were things like cucumber missing! We were served promptly and weren't rushed in any way. I'd say my meal of sausage and mash was ok but my son thought his mini sausage whirls were 'great'.

Came here to dine with my mrs. Good choice in restaurants I must say. First time we have visited harvester. Was quickly sat at a nice table out of the way. The waitress who wast taking care of us was Katie. She was friendly and efficient and nothing was too much trouble for her. She's a credit to your team

After not visiting Harvester for some time due to not being very impressed in the past all round, we were more than pleasantly surprised at the difference. Excellent food, fantastic, friendly service and clean - all the things important to me when eating out. A particular mention to Christianna - thanks for the great service!

We visited Harvester lunchtime on a Saturday afternoon. We expected it to be really busy however we were pleased when they had a table for the three of us straight away. Our drinks and food orders were taken promptly and we helped ourselves to the salad bar where I was pleased to find the pasta option had improved since my last visit and so had the potato salad. We enjoyed our salad starter and our meals were promptly served. I was happy with mine, the grilled chicken with mash and peas - although it looked rather sparse on the plate and missing an element, It was complete and was tasty. My husband had trio of chicken which was a little dry and needed a sauce to compliment it. He had not realized the there was no sauce with this dish so it lacked moisture. Our daughter had child's burger, which she could only eat the middle part of the burger as the edges were extremely well done and the bread almost stale and hard. She enjoyed the salad bar however and did not leave hungry. We were disappointed with our meals, and feel the options available are lacking since the menu change. I doubt we will visit again.NB, a note to Harvester Management - there were 3 girls that entered in front of us that queued for a table only to be told as they did not have an adult with them, they could not eat at the restaurant. I find this very strange, and have never come across this ruling before. I felt as though, although Harvester seem to promote and offer healthier choices of food to customers, that they were forcing these young girls, who had made a "healthier choice" over the other offerings The Oasis centre has on offer (KFC is right next door) to go elsewhere and make bad food choices. I felt this goes against what I perceive Harvesters main aim and I felt sorry for the poor girls who wanted a healthy meal. This approach should be looked at. They can still order food and not be served alcohol...Just like we did!

My partner and myself decided to meet at meadowhall Oasis Dining court and have tea together after such a hectic day at work. We decided to eat at Harvester as I had a 33% discount offer on my phone. We took advantage of the complimentary unlimited fresh salad pasta and bread which is a meal in itself along with a triple chicken main meal for myself and a Bbq chicken stack main meal for my partner along with soft drinks which are also available as a refillable option . The meals are very well presented and not greasy and are portioned to a good standard and using good quality produce which is nice. So after having pasta and salad a main meal and drinks for 2 with a 33% discount offer the bill came to under £20 which is excellent value I reckon. Well done Harvester 10/10!

After a few hours of shopping in Meadowhall we was ready to eat and never visited a harvester before so chose this one. It wasn't busy so plenty of places to sit . We ordered food I had a burger which was nice and meaty, with fries. Before that had a bowl of free salad so making it good value for money which was delicious, went back for another but got reduced calorie dressing on it which was too vinegary so not able to eat it. Staff friendly and helpful but decor looked a bit worn.

Usually go to centertainment but thought we would try meadowhall what a mistake.Ordered breakfast the girl that served us asked my son how he liked his egg cooked but he didnt ask for egg.Not very friendly staff.Breakfast not very warm.The only staff we found friendly was a blond haired lady in a checked shirt who sat us at a table.Will be going back to centertainment harvester in future.

Quick and happy service, Quiet and calm atmostphere after the lady next to us stopped screaming at her poor kid The food was lovely And our waitress was lovely too Think the management behind the counter should do more to help rhe ladys who are rushed off there feet but hey ho thats the restaurant buisness

Visited a Harvester before and was very disappointed so was understandably dubious when my children wanted to head into Harvester after a mornings shopping. We were greeted with a smile and shown to a table immediately. The children were given activity packs to keep them entertained and it was a matter of minutes before being attended to. The waitresses were polite and patient whilst my kids decided what to eat and we were given all the info we needed into how the restaurant worked I.e salad bar/refillables etcFood arrived quickly and was hot and enjoyed by all. Dessert for the children arrived and although one was nearly melted (it was an ice cream sundae) it was still eaten :-)Today's visit has changed my opinion entirely and I wouldn't hesitate on coming back or recommending it to others. My only niggle was that there was no 'light bite' option as I don't have the largest of appetites so was stuffed when I left but was an all round nice meal.

We were seated quickly however our drinks and food were slow to come.We had access to an unlimited salad bar and drinks which was good and useful as there was a substantial wait for food.When the food did come, it was nothing more than average. Would rather visit other places for the same amount of money.I'd return if it were the only place available in the food court.

We had breakfast here as we have had breakfast at other harvester restaurants and had a good experience unfortunately this one isn't breakfast arrived beans cold bacon cold poached eggs were like pickled eggs cooked in vinegar and over cooked hard my wife had vegetarian sausages which had been deep fried until solid when waitress was asked for more eggs cooked without loads of vinegar She came back and told us the Chef Said it would take 20 minutes to heat a pan of fresh water ! Come On this is a joke ! So we just paid and left you should amend your advertising EAT AS MUCH AS YOU LIKE IF YOU CAN GET IT AND ITS EDIBLE!!

Food was brilliant .service was great not over the top .salad bar nice and clean and fresh .we will be back

Monday afternoon, really busy a wait on tables. got sat down within 1 minute 5 minutes later we had our food order taken, 7 minutes later the food came out, seeing how every table was jam packed I think is amazing. Katie who took our order was brilliant and always smiling. A credit to Mitchells and Butlers. I am a manager of a pub within this company and I can safely say that was the nicest meal ever had! Fish and chips! Well done to the manager and team!

We have just finished eating breakfast here and wow what an experience we had the unlimited breakfast 2 adultsand 2 kids with unlimited juices,the service was excellent didn't wait long at all the waiter dario was friendly all in all a very enjoyable experience will deffo come again

I never knew that harvester did breakfast until today, so whilst shopping at Meadowhall myself and my family decided to try it and what a great decision we made! The choices we had were excellent, and the food was delicious and it was so cheap at £7.49 for unlimited cooked and continental breakfast as well as unlimited tea/coffee and juices. The best cooked breakfast I have had in a long time. The staff were such a pleasure and went above and beyond their duty. When I come back to Sheffield I will definitely be visiting the harvester again and would recommend to anyone!

Went into the harvester today had a fab breakfast could chose what you wanted and help yourself to drinks and toast, staff excellent nothing to much trouble

I took my 11 year old there after the cinema they give 20% off with the ticket the waitress was pleasant enough.I ordered off the set menu piri prawns,rump steak and exchanged chips for dirty rice.my daughter ordered off the kids menu nothing to say about that except when it arrived it was incomplete.the salad bar which is usually good was a bit tired and some were watery looking,but what we chose was ok.my piri prawns were over fried so I picked the middle out and left the coating and the rice was cold so I left that normally I would complain but wasn't asked if the food was ok.however my steak was cooked to perfection and was delicious.even when the plates were cleared there was no enquiry as to the food being ok.also the entire roast chicken part of the menu was off.this is the second time we have been here and it's not been great.however the one at the centertaiment is alway excellent all round.we won't be giving it a 3rd go sadly

My partner and I have taken to visiting here with an elderly friend who really enjoys the ribs here and she eats every last one of the huge serving! We always enjoy the food and the customer service is excellent, even when the restaurant becomes very busy. I think the free salad bar with every meal is great, includes a wide variety and is usually very clean. However, on this occasion there seemed to be food spillages around the bar and the pasta and rice spoons were full with sticky contents. This makes the bar much less appealing, so would encourage regular checking of the individual tubs and the bar. The food, though, was cooked as well as it usually is and we were all very content by the end.

We arrived at meadowhall in time for dinner but had made no reservation anywhere, all the restaurants were busy so we decided to try this harvester. The wait was minimal. The service was quick and waiter friendly and efficient. The choice of food is good and the food is good/ acceptable. Great salad bar. Well stocked.

We came here yesterday and had the simple grilled chicken breast and changed a couple of sides on the swap list. The staff were great. The salad bar was full, all drinks were good although my wife did not like the Pepsi lime. It tasted of a very unnatural lime.
