Great Station, 3 platforms are efficient!

Just passing through the station and it was beautifully clean.

Arrived at the station with my mother, heading to London on the grand central, so we had to get over to the new platform over the bridge. My mother walks with a frame, and we had 2 cases, a lovely lady called Rachel, helped us over, she got in the lift with my mother as I headed for for the stairs due to my fear of lifts. I would just like to thank her for this, she was really helpful, she helped us to get on the train, we were so grateful for her help. So big shoutout to Rachel.

Very quiet but a good place to visit

Train Station Ticket Office. Popped down today 28/5/24 to book Train tickets for a trip to Whitby as the price had gone up over £5 in two days including a booking fee online , the guy behind the counter was so kind & helpful & although I ended up with X 10 tickets I then saved the £5 which will go towards ice creams . Thank you so much , people should try & use the ticket office couldn't fault them. 😊

Sunday midday, no ticket office or toilets open. Staff on duty but no toilets. Is this what £20 million upgrade has achieved!

Hartlepool is a quiet beautiful town for those who love serenity in their place of abode. It is an ideal place to settle down with family and raise children without the noise of big cities and the negative influences that come from being exposed to too many adult life activities. Although, it's location near the ocean makes relatively it colder than most other cities, it offers some attractive sights for views and various parks for relaxation all across the town.

On train staff was nice and friendly trucker office staff rude and disrespectful asked for some advice and basically told me to do one

Lovely place to visit. Tall ships now been here twice Wow, what a sight.

Myself and my fiance always come here once a year to visit his family for 2 weeks.

Cute little town, with nice open stretches of beach. Friendly locals. Unfortunately there is an abundance of litter absolutely everywhere, including over large stretches of the beaches. It's a shame that it isn't well looked after, as it has such potential!

Clean, bright with a variety of shops

Too many places with shutters that are now closed on the main road. Makes it look like a town that's dying.

Ticket off ice shut despite 2 staff just standing and chatting tasse grr toilets shut. Just nit good enough

This paddle steamer used to transit across the River Humber. It is a shame non of these have been retained in Hull and kept as a museum there or restored so it could do trips down the Humber again.

It's a train station. It only has one platform, even if most trains leave from platform 2. Not many facilities in the station, but there are plenty of options within a few minutes walk.

Very tidy rail station and well maintained.

I needed to get to Hull about 2 months ago. I needed information and guidance . The man who was behind the desk was extremely helpful, He was so informative I was amazed. He is a true credit to hartlepool train station. Well done he is is a shining example of perfect customer service. On the platform you will see giant pictures, These are areas of real interest. Don't miss out on what Hartlepool has to offer.

Come to this station often, always clean and tidy, only small , but have big local artists pictures up on wall facing station platform to look at. They are of local places in town.

very cold in the winter make more warmth and colourfull, Meanwhile very good to be annoest

The platform staff are extremely helpful and friendly, went above and beyond and gave myself a great first experience. They helped passengers on to the trains with their suitcases and helped myself when purchasing my ticket.

Parking for disabled long stay expensive

myself and my family were waiting to get the train from Hartlepool to Thornaby unfortunately we got on the wrong train and ended up travelling to Sunderland a young lady (stewardess) was so helpful and even got us back on the quickest train back and was not charged. so helpful and understanding couldn't thank her enough.

Basic services, no automatic seller, no toilets out of hours. At least closed waiting room.

Here it is Hartlepool station. Post sexual toilets and friendly police. Get in a fight, smoke a cigarette. You're in Hartlepool

Restrooms only available until 5pm at most, main access not working either so need to use the side one at almost all times. Machine does not normally read cards to pick up tickets-all the joys

Hartlepool Railway Station must not get a lot of business, they don't have a phone number, tried the number given in 192 and received a message to say it no longer exists and gave another number just for train tracking, how the hell are you suppose to book a ticket?
