Alessandro and silvia were very attentive and amazing. The service is honestly the best I’ve ever had and the food was one of the best I’ve ever had.

Me and my partner came here for dinner. Alessandro was our waiter and he was genuinely the nicest waiter I have ever met. So lovely, so attentive, always making sure we are okay and happy. Silvia greeted us and made us feel so welcome. Nikil in the kitchen made our desert extra special for our anniversary so thankyou!! I had the Harry’s special burger , I am not normally a fan of burgers but hands down the best burger I have ever had !! Would definitely be returning.

Overpriced. If you have dietary requirements, do not dine here. There is no attention to detail. Was informed all of the chicken was halal. It wasn’t. Do the staff care? No. Avoid this place. No professionalism

Reviews do not reflect how great it is here. Food and service was top tier… on par with Michelin service in terms of attentiveness. The steak(8oz sirloin) exceeded expectations, I’ve had far worse steaks in central London that were double the price! All in all, a great experience… highly recommend!

Genuinely surprised about the reviews on here as both my wife and I came away thinking this was some of the nicest food we had experienced at a hotel. My wife had pasta and I had beer battered fish and both were genuinely excellent. So used to hotels offering the same old thing, for us this was a really nice surprise and an added bonus to a nice spa day away from the kids. Would happily recommend to anyone. Service was attentive but a little on the slow side but nothing terrible.

We had to wait an hour and 10 minutes between finishing our starter and the main course arriving and even that was only after reminding staff that we’d ordered main courses — they only started cooking it on being reminded. We weren’t offered any drinks during this time either. The manager ultimately knocked the drinks that we did have off the bill but it still cost £100 for a meze platter and two pretty average rib-eye steaks (they were cooked well but the starting cut must’ve been quite underwhelming, small and fatty; more Wetherspoons than Hawksmoor).

Harry's is the one stand out at Horwood House which actually delivers service and quality. While it is fairly expensive (like everything else at Horwood) it actually puts in effort to justify that price (unlike everything else at Horwood). The food was of high quality, well presented and tasty, the service was good, the price is perhaps a little higher than reasonable.

Possibly one of the most disappointing meals I’ve eaten My partner and I opted to have our lunch in the Spa’s own dining area, to allow us to stay in our robes. We started with the Beef Croquettes which were awful. They were soggy on the outside, dry inside, and completely lacked flavor. They were sitting in, what tasted like a, disgustingly cheap American nacho cheese - far from fresh sauce!!! Despite our reservation being at 13:30, we didn’t receive our main course until gone 14:30 - sadly it wasn’t worth the wait either! I opted for the Harry’s Club Sandwhich, which was truly awful. The bread was plain, stale and dry, the bacon was nothing but flavourless FAT, and the lettuce was wilted. The sandwich was poorly assembled, falling apart as soon as I picked it up. The chicken was supposed to have a ‘peri peri’ taste, but frankly it was very tough, bland and dry. Overall, it was a disappointing and unappetizing experience. Avoid this sandwich at all costs. My partner ordered the Caesar Salad, which was slightly more appealing but missing the Caesar dressing! Both of our dishes were sadly very dry and unappetising. A fellow spa guest, sitting next to us also agreed which is a real shame.

Fantastic food, Quality is on point. Cooked to perfection. Ran out of one dish but that's to be expected when locally sourced product. Service was appalling, very very slow from the waiting staff, 20 minutes for 1 pint and 1 glass of prosecco. Maitre d did comp us two free drinks as ours turned up with the food. Bar staff seem to prioritise people standing at the bar opposed to seated tables. Overall a pleasant experience if very over priced for alcohol. Added note, bar staff are very slow. 15 mins just to order. It's a wednesday night.

I stayed at the hotel for a 2 night spa break. End of Nov, food was ok but service was very sketchy. Servers were rushing around doing the best they could whilst busy and understaffed. Management moaned at servers a lot but never chipped in to help out. Some small tweakes would make this place much better. Matthew (18 year old) was amazing, very attentive and friendly despite the bad management he was receiving.

AFTERNOON TEA I am so disgusted by the cost of £35 per person for what we got. Four each finger sandwiches with hardly any fillings. A very good sausage roll which was made by the hitel chef and not Harry! Too many rich mini cakes and two scones. You should be ashamed! This was an unacceptable afternoon tea. A friend had previously made a complaint but it was too late to cancel - unfortunately. The best part was our waitress - Sylvia.

Highly recommend this pub/restaurant. 8 of us including a young child were made extremely welcome at a time when there was also a quiz night and the food and service were faultless. Between us we had starters including mushroom with goats cheese, duck spring rolls, calamari - empty plates all round. Then venison burgers, loin of venison, a lovely chicken dish, and choice of pizzas for the child. Everything cooked beautifully. I understand they now have an excellent team in the kitchen and we certainly can vouch for what we had. A great meal, and we are looking forward to returning.

Decidí dar Jaki es un ir ya que me apetecía cambiar de Costa. Pedí una fresa y Banana batido, y luego fue informado que se les había acabado de banana, así que tenía que ser fresa. Yo también tenía un cruasán, ya que no tenían chocolate pequeños o cualquier canela remolinos- la otra cosa que noté fue unas cuantas moscas que rondan y aterrizaje en sus pasteles. Aparte de la mala selección, la comida no estaba mal, pero no regresaremos por un batido cualquier momento pronto, a menos que te banana volver, entonces voy a intentarlo.
