Walked in at 15:15 and felt that we were a nuisance, half the place was closed off for cleaning!! Very limited cakes most covered over, so we left as felt not welcome.

Used to love this place, decent food, pleasant staff, comfortable surroundings, not sure what happened but the food is absolutely appalling, possibly the worst I have ever experienced, it seems that I am not the only one as I rarely see the number of customers there used to be, in an age when everyone has a voice how they continue to operate is a mystery ! I think its possible there has been a name change as well.

Marine Parade W, Clacton-on-Sea, CO15 1RD, United KingdomStayed for 3 nights from 22nd Oct 2024. At first we were at room 115 - the room had a leaking shower splashing water all over toilet. They moved us from a family room to a smaller room - 125 🤔. The room was stinking and full of dust. The room key was not working and had to go to downstairs reception at least 10 times in 3 days 🤯. The staff never said a ‘sorry’. The only positive factor was the chef who was polite and was always ensuring to fill the breakfast buffet. Overall very bad experience 👎
