Harry Ramsden's Selly Oak in Birmingham

Ordered fish and chips and cod bites for daughter. They managed to get my order wrong and kept telling me 2 minutes every ten min finally asked for refund as need to get back to hospital. Asked for a refund for my food as they got daughters order right. Got a refund from the manager. But the manager did not have any customer service skills at all, no apology and not sent offer my meal at all. Shoddy customer service.

Not worth any stars at all found hair in my food staff couldn't care less complained to head office they said what do you want us to do about it l would not ever eat there again and recommend no else does as well No customer service all about money these days 😒

The price was £8.95 each for cod and chips and the meal was tiny, Tin of coke £2, coffee £3.40 what a waste of money Shant come again

Travelled from Walsall to treat my daughter( Birmingham Uni)to fish and chips... got here 2.30pm to be told run out of fish. !! Would have to wait more than 1 hour for more to defrost !

Really poor portion size for the amount of money

Total waste of time. Went to order at 5pm only to be told fish and chips were out of stock. 0 out of 10

The cod fish was not cod it self as it was sea bass fish and food was delayed alot and also chips was not hot but the main point is the fish was not Cod fish! Cod fish is more chunky and flakey and sea bass is small and light.

Food was very overpriced and dead wouldn’t even bother

How this place can be called part of Harry Ramsden is beyond me. Very bad small portions, more batter then fish. avoid

Most average fish and chips I’ve ever eaten. Paid almost £24 for two portions of ‘large’ fish and chips. Small portions, just warm food and had to salt and vinegar ourselves at home. Will never eat here again and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

We had six meals delivered to our office no drinks with order was told they only gave me 2 bags complain to delivero. It was freezing cold and disgusting to be honest had better from my local chip shop 😤 would help if you had contact number so we could get in touch about our 6 missing drinks to go with our 6 cold fish and chips .

Very tasty worth the money, love the curry sauce, staff was very friendly, fish was crispy n properly cooked, fries 🍟 were amazing, the place was nice. Good experience, will recommend it for sure.

Shocking do not go here at all. Ordered large chips and a curry sauce and this is what I get for paying so much money. Temperature was warm too and not hot, had to microwave. Very very very disappointing. Will never go here again

Nice taste but very oily compared to competitors. Should leave to stand before serving to customers. Portion of chips also very small for the price. Portion of onion rings very large though. Free parking in Sainsbury car park. This place is located inside Sainsbury store.
