Harry Gow Bakery - Union Street in Highland

We enjoyed the scrumptious bakery food, including the steak pie, coronation chicken roll and the scotch broth. The staff were very kind, pleasant and patient. The coffee tasted great - they asked about my sweetness preference. A recommendation would to have some soft background music.

I can’t see any pictures of freshly baked fruit scones in your picture gallery. Can you confirm you sell them please? Also, where exactly are the products you sell in Union Street baked and prepared?

Very good food and really great customer service! When are you opening back up :( the main street one has been closed for so so long now :((

I wish you sold small loaves. I live on my own, and I don't like putting bread in the freezer.

Always stop by when I'm in Inverness, and always get a very warm welcome. Cakes and pies to die for - especially the dream rings!

Travelled back to Inverness with my wee boy after several years away and booked a trip with him, first stop for any of your picnic or takeaway bakery food has to be here, it’s one of the only chain of bakers I’ve seen in Scotland that trumps Greggs, and rightly so. On this occasion I grabbed a couple of soups two ham rolls and some Victoria cake slices, sublime so they were, whenever your in the town centre or around Inverness get into here for your food.

I’m sadly writing this review because todays order has ruined my day! I ordered a tomato soup & a chicken mayo sandwich- the tomato soup was given to me in a paper harry gow bag (this was the first time usually it would just be given in a pot with no bag, I didn’t understand it at first but I placed the sandwich and soup in my bag and when I got back to my workplace the whole soup was at the bottom of my bag because of a hole in the cup! This was probably noticed by the lady that worked there and just placed in a bag to hide the fact it was leaking! Absolutely shocking! Once I cleaned up my bag I tried to take a bite of the sandwich to only find a thick black hair in it! 😱 what is going on? This has never happened to me. I will not be coming back to this Harry Gow.

Love the potato and steak one, strawberry tart is also amazing. They warmed them up for us to be able to eat right away. They’re too good, forgot to take pictures.

We bought chocolate muffin and lemon muffin. OMG the chocolate one was out of this world. The lemon drizzle muffin was very good too but slightly a little too much sugar topping. But yummy. The butteries are also good.

Nice sausage rolls, steak pies were OK. Shame that no pricing was on the front counter in front of each product. Almost £12 for two sausage rolls and pies. A tad expensive.

The pies were delicious and, more importantly, the workers were so kind and helpful as we asked a million questions. My mom was raving about the lemon muffin: moist, lemony, and impossible to stop eating.

I love getting food here, but they really should put the product name and price in front with the food.

Not my cup a tea, I prefer continental quality of baked goods. Too much icing and jam and butter.

Was Up Seeing Family in august... ive heard a few youtubers talk about this bakery... so had to try the raspbery & vanilla slice it was absolutely devine it last all of 2 mins... I just wish the harry gow would ship to yorkshire!... Also your steak pies are absolutely amazing aswell as ur your Tomato. Soup, I will be back next july again and will ge getting plenty of supplys to bring to leeds!!!

I love Harry Gow, always buy from the Dingwall branch when on holiday at the caravan site in the town. Yummy morning rolls, delicious cakes. The BEST!!

Delighted that bakers open again after covid 19,I really missed not being able to get my Empire Biscuit and chatting with the girls,Margaret served me today,and I also saw Grace. Didn't need to queue as I was in just after nine. Great to have you back!

Excellent scotch pies, best I've had in a long time. Only negative was that there were no Bridies

Nice bakery however the young ones seem to have an issue with packing your bags and just throw a plastic bag on top of your products expecting you to pack it? What happened to customer service it's just extremely lazy . Makes the place look bad in my opinion it's simple and easy to do and part of the service in my opinion. It was a young girl sounded polish. Won't be back for that reason will try another Harry how I'm crown they have service.

Harry Gow suministra productos de panadería de buena calidad, pero es importante que los vegetarianos y veganos tengan en cuenta que usan gelatina en algunos de sus pasteles. Como no hay etiquetado (a menos que estén embalados) no hay indicación de esto. Es muy sorprendente hoy en día que cualquier productor de alimentos use gelatina donde es totalmente innecesario y me sorprendió cuando lo descubrí. Así que ten cuidado. Sí, sus anillos de sueño son los mejores.

Quería aparecer por un tiempo ahora y cuando lo hice, me encantó que estuvo a la altura de mis expectativas. Había un montón de productos horneados frescos, todos bien expuestos en el gabinete y una amplia selección de panecillos rellenos para elegir.Comida - Decidí probar la sopa del día que era pollo y arroz, ¡no me decepcionó! Un montón de arroz y también pollo hecho para una sopa muy abundante, caliente y sabrosa. También decidí preparar un rollo de carne de res (debido a que no me gustaban las combinaciones de ensaladas y rollos prefabricados) y el personal estaba más que dispuesto a ayudar a hacer el rollo perfecto para mí.Servicio: durante mi visita, todos los clientes fueron ordenados por personal listo y en espera, y prácticamente no hubo que debido al servicio amable, rápido y efectivo. A pesar de que estaba un poco ocupado durante el almuerzo, nadie se sintió apurado.Precio - ¡Es muy barato! Por la calidad, el sabor y la frescura, creí que era un poco caro, pero me sorprendió felizmente el bajo costo total del almuerzo para 2. Aunque solo recordé después de que me fui, ¡es genial que también ofrezcan un descuento para estudiantes con una tarjeta Young Scot Card y así volveremos!

Popped in to pick up a sandwich to take with us on a tour, and also saw these wonderful looking desserts in the case. Sandwich was fine, but that Dream Ring was heavenly.

Llamado para pedir un rollo lleno como era la hora del almuerzo con un colega. Wow, para 3 el rollo era grande lleno de un montón de golosinas que había solicitado y valía cada centavo! Me sentía lleno después de comer. Los rollos baratos comprados en un supermercado por un par de libras no te hacen sentir satisfecho. Vale la pena comprarlo si está buscando comida en el casco.

Llegó a tomar un aperitivo y encontró una gran cantidad de sándwiches preparados y rollos con cajas de vidrio llenas de suntuosos pasteles. Estaba tan arruinado por la elección. Me decidí por un sándwich de jamón y queso seguido de un anillo de sueño pegajoso. Si no has tenido uno, consigue uno y llénalo con crema. Yum El personal era amable y la comida fabulosa. Volveré.

Saqué la sopa de aquí dos veces y las sopas no estaban bien allí, estaban frías, así que no volveré a comprarlas. ¿No valía la pena el dinero?
