Harris + Hoole - Imperial Wharf in Hammersmith and Fulham

Friendly efficient staff. Coffee was made well but had a very unpleasant taste. The inside of this coffee shop was absolutely filthy, there were crumbs everywhere I looked, on the floor and on pretty much every table surface. There were dirty cups left on most tables. I only saw one staff member working there during my visit. Filthy place, I will not return. No wonder it is popular with dogs.

Decent coffee but takes absolutely ages to get it. Just the one overly-keen, hyper talkative member of staff on duty when I went. Total of 5 people in the shop and it took over 10 mins to get my coffee.

Could do better. Good vibe. Good pastries. Warm 'hot' chocolate, which is a pity as it was good quality chocolate. Visited on a Sunday, do maybe that was the reason. Not bad, but could easily be excellent.

This coffee shop is well located just opposite Imperial Wharf train station and it is also fitted out nicely. An ideal stop off on the way to the match. Unfortunately the flat white coffee was too weak and the hot chocolate tasted just like powdered Nescafe.

Flying visit, barely a word from server. No thanks at the end. To get away with poor service like that you need to be very good at what you do. And they are not .

Saturday morning we stopped for coffee -staying in hearty hotel. There was a small queue for coffees. They simply could not make coffee quickly enough. The wait was 20 min Next morning we went to the coffee truck beside the train station at imperial wharf. Across the road from Harris and Hoole

This coffee shop is near our hotel. The minute we walked in the owner started talking to us. He was very friendly and comical. The coffee and the hot chocolate we ordered was amazing. went back twice already. The pastries were delicious. Definitely check this little coffee shop out we loved it.

I love the coffee in this place, it has a very good quality the problem is that the service is a bit slow comparing to other coffee places, it is not for you if you are in a rush in the morning on your way to work or if you need to catch a train. If you are not in a rush then the place is nice and friendly to have something in. Croissants are lovely. Pricewise it is a bit expensive. Anyway there are no many coffee places in the area so lot of people go there as no many options available.

This little coffee shop is opposite imperial wharf station and serves the best flavoured coffee I have ever tasted. Much better than the larger chain coffee shops. A good selection of sandwiches and pastries available too.

Worth a visit although they could do with more space inside for seating. Coffee is good as the batista knows their trade....Worth getting the app as its very clever to have ur coffee ready even before walking in!

Fancied somewhere different for a coffee so found this place using TripAdvisor. Nice airy building with windows to people watch. Good selection of excellent coffee. Staff efficient, friendly and good at their job. Nice place a for a coffee and lunch.

We snacked here recently while strolling around Imperial Wharf. We had some very fine coffees and tasty toasties. The chocolate brownie finished the snack very nicely. Service was a little slow. It is situated in a very busy area but a busy little café.

Very nice staff, amazing food. The toasts are very delicious, and the lattes are to die for 😊. Definitely coming back.

Llegamos temprano para nuestro tren a casa desde la estación de Imperial Wharf, así que caminamos justo al otro lado de la carretera a H&H; para cafés. Elegante y limpio casa moderna en la estación café especialista esquina opuesta con una excelente selección de comida y bebidas para cenar tanto en el interior y el exterior. El personal era educado y amable que sirve clientes en sus tranquilos ritmo. Teníamos tiempo, así que estaba bien, pero puede frustrar si llena en un horario apretado. El Harris & Nombre hoole es de dos personajes amantes de café en el Diario de Samuel pepys, el ritmo puede ser perfectamente el Señor Pepys en el siglo XVI.

El hombre hacer café dieron la impresión de alguien que hacía su propio café en un tranquilo sábado por la mañana. Él no tenía idea de clientes o servicio. Había sólo una orden delante de la mía, pero él estaba tranquilo y nos mantuvo de pie esperando.

Small cafe. Pretty sure it's a local chain but I could be mistaken. Staff was very nice. Food and drink offerings were good selection of hot/warm sandwiches & pastries, juice, carbonated drinks & coffee. Coffee was nice & strong. Got the egg, spinach & cheese sandwich and it was okay.

The Location is great however despite the best intentions the staff always seem to be1 or 2 steps behind the game. The coffee is better than average however no pouring cream option limits the selection for those of us who are not milk fans.

We went with friends for a coffee at around 15.00 on the 28.01.2018 and the man serving us was amazingly rude, throwing plates (almost breaking one he "served" a brownie on) and money on the counter, serving us with a total contempt. I was literally offended. Do I have to mention that the tables were dirty? Absolute disappointment. Never again.

We had breakfast here two days running, while staying at the Doubletree Hilton across the road. Very agreeable, with friendly service, darn good coffee and a wonderful version of cheese on toast (they do a breakfast variation as well). Deservedly busy so the only problem was finding a seat.Highly recommended.

This is a cool, up-and-coming part of London, and H+H have it just right. Wonderful coffee and pastries. Always busy and bustling.

As a regular (very satisfied) customer of the Harris and Hoole in Hammersmith I thought I would give this branch a try.I visited on a Sunday morning and the shop was busy enough without ever feeling uncomfortable. Despite being busy there was no significant queue, I was able to find a table and the place looked spotlessly clean. Overall there was a lovely, relaxed atmosphere (as one would hope on a Sunday morning!) I enjoyed a Chicken and Bacon toasted sandwich (delicious) and was pleased to find the coffee served here is every bit as fantastic as what I am used to enjoying in my local shop. The standout feature of my visit was without a doubt the service from the employees. They all seemed genuinely interested in providing a personal experience and happy to be working in the shop! I continue to be an extremely happy customer!

Popped in here for a takeaway coffee- you can register to receive points towards a free drink and they'll have your regular order ready for you. Outdoor seating - next to the road but quite quiet on the corner.

If you are a coffee savvy ( as my self). Look no where but here. I can say that they have the best espresso I have ever tried. I highly recommend it.

It is a proper coffee with good artwork when there is professional barista. But bakery is not fresh as well as other food. Good for morning coffee but not for breakfast or lunch.

Alloggiavo in un’hotel nei paraggi e ho deciso di fare qui colazione un sabato mattina: i pochi tavoli erano sporchi e con le stoviglie dei clienti precedenti da sparecchiare.Il locale è carino, molto piccolo e con pochi posti a sedere, ma il servizio lascia davvero a desiderare. Personale giovane ma disorganizzato e inesperto direi.Poca scelta per quanto riguarda la parte dolce (non so se vi era quella salata), il mio scone era asciuttissimo e la marmellata in bustina…no….non la si può accettare (esistono le modo dosi in barattolini di vetro), e si sono scordati del mio cappuccino.

A corner coffee shop with coffee to be proud off. Bakery and pastries are fresh and tasty. There is a small library for kick read while you have your breakfast. The atmosphere of the place stands out

Just mentioned this place in my review of the Double Tree By Hilton hotel at Olympia Wharf which is two minutes away but stupidly I called it Hoole and Ellis for some reason. Sorry guys! But then, for the three days that we came in to sample your excellent coffee and light bites we always referred to you as 'Turner and Hooch'.So, anyway - if you are in Imperial Wharf this place is very close to the overground rail station and a few hundred yards from the Double Tree Hotel (used to be Jury's Inn). Lovely staff, very laid back approach to Life, The Universe and Everything, a choice off seating which ranges from school chairs to settees, fantastic coffee, lovely things to eat including sandwiches and cheese toasties and brownies and all that stuff.Before heading off on the train to central London we would swish in here and enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat for 15 minutes - perfect little coffee shop.

Only a few customers so no excuse for this. Ordered English tea got Earl Grey (hate it) ordered a cheese toastie (sandwich) got ham & cheese croissant which was soggy & luke warm. These incorrect 'delicacies' cost me £5.15Tables not cleared inside, outside tables surrounded by many cigarette butts, for what they charge awful! & that is being generous. All food is displayed in the 'open' yeah nice!No real interest taken by staff, I left half of the croissant & all the tea. I have emailed their customer services but looking at other feedback don't hold out much hope. Avoid this place!!!!!

Great coffee which takes a few minutes to make but is well worth it. Can highly recommend the Flat White.

Lovely location around 5 minutes walk from the Thames or you could get a coffee and sit by the river.

Small establishment, but lucky enough to find seats for the three of us. Coffee was nice and didn't take too long to arrive. Pastries were warm and fresh, and there were lots to choose from. Pleasant experience overall.

Cute, little establishment, doesn't sit more than 25 people. Not a very glamorous location but great for the locals. Coffee quality is very good and cakes/sandwiches diverse. Pet friendly so avoid sitting in if have allergies. Seating is not very comfortable however, designed to encourage high turnover I would presume.

The making of the coffee takes longer than average, so they asked us to take a seat and they would call us when ready. Their pastries were nice and fresh, and most importantly warm, without warming them up in a microwave oven, which meant they were extra fresh. Coffee was also quite good. Ambiance generally pleasant. Would visit again.

A good place for breakfast with a good selection of coffees and cake selections. Ambience was great with a lot of local people pop in and out. Staff was kind. No issues.

I don't like writing bad reviews and would never typically write one for a chain coffee shop...BUT I was so appalled by the rude, disinterested and obnoxious staff at this branch that I wrote to the company privately hoping for an acknowledgment and apology. However, I never received any response. Clearly the owners and managers don't care. Perhaps that's why their staff don't either.Whatever it is I shan't be getting my coffee there next time I'm at Chelsea Harbour.

Great place to have a breakfast or a coffee in the morning choosing to eat it there or to take it away. The local has even a little stand with books and it is very peaceful!The prices are slightly expensive for the product you get, but this is not the main problem of this place. Part of the staff seems to be "bored" of working there and the service they deliver to the customer is not as it should be.

I love the concept: organic, cool food, "take what you need", "we are friendly" aspect of things. They even have a book swap section which is very popular with the kids of the area. Unfortunately, it never really quite hits the mark: the food is good but not great, service is good but not great, coffee is good but that's it!I went last time with my son on a wednesday afternoon and the staff was already tidying up everything 30 min before closing time...those are the little details that make the difference!

I wouldn't usually write a review for a coffee shop but felt I had to as this place is one of a kind! They seem to recruit the most irritating staff imaginable who seem to be more interested asking you your name and drawing flowers on your coffee than providing you with a hot cup of coffee relatively quickly. People in London are time poor and this place doesn't seem to understand that. Coffee is actually ok, food on the other hand is left out for everyone to breath over and in my opinion this place is one of the most un-enjoyable experiences I have ever had. I live round the corner so go there out of convenience but I am genuinely surprised that the management think this is what people want....however owned by Tesco so that probably explains it!

Am very surprised to see negative reviews here. This is a lovely place with a unique atmosphere, definitely feels like a one of a kind rather than a chain. The staff are lovely, they remember my (and other customer's) name, it's a very welcoming place, very comfortable armchairs and sofas, the staff top up teapots without being asked, it's always clean, including the bathroom, there is free wifi, books that can be read or even borrowed, a local "what's on in the local community information board, good food that varies in the specialties day to day, always with nice touches and themes. I suspect some stereotypical complaining london attitudes in previous reviews! It's a gem of a place and I highly recommend.

Was asked if I minded a takeaway cup for my drink-in tea - having said I'd prefer a proper cup was then given explanation that dishwasher was broken, in the hope I would relent. I am sorry they had extra work, but for me tea tastes horrid in a paper cup - I wasn't being difficult, and even gave a tip to compensate, but still got the turned-up-lip look. What a shame as the place has potential but I will avoid in future

It may have been at the end of a bad day, the dish washer had broken down and they were closing an hour early, not sure if the 2 were connected, but the attitude was appalling. after a 5 minute interrogation about why we did not want plastic cups for our tea we finally got served, the cake was dry and uninspiring and then, still with half an hour to go to the revised closing time, one of the staff started bringing the chairs in from outside and banging them down close to where we were sitting. Despite the signature claiming to have recently checked the toilets the soap dispenser had run out. luckily unlikely to be in the area again but would probably avoid any others in this chain as well as a consequence.

This coffee place is really a quick-stop of heaven. They offer a selection of delicious pastries (both sweet and savoury) for breakfast/brunch - even hot porridge and granola. The coffee is well made. Never had it burnt so far. Service is friendly but most of all very appeasing. I adore the china-ware too if you eat/drink in.

The coffee here is great as are the sandwiches and pastries, and the super friendly staff make this a welcome stop off when travelling to business in the otherwise rather sterile and corporate Chelsea Harbour area.

The staff here seem to have lost the concept that people especially on their way to work or at lunch time - just want to be served and get on their way... Yes its lovely to have a friendly smile.... and pleasant service - but not every customer needs a half hour chat.They are more interested in chatting amongst themselves than just getting on with serving people....Its such a shame as the food is very good in there - it just pains me to go in there knowing I won't be able to just nip in and out........It is such a shame that they have a but of a cornered market here - if there was more competition I think they would have to pull their socks up big time.

The barista was dick! They must work on commission or something cause EVERYTIME I come here they ask me if I want food more than once, twice, three times, then there's also an "anything else" the coffees good but that's about all. The place a cross the street by the DLR is just as good

Stayed at hotel next door and came here for breakfast three days in a row, really good tea/coffee and breakfast baked goods. Staff was friendly but seemed to be overwhelmed and had trouble with my order each time.

Coffee and toasted sandwiches on a Saturday afternoon. Quick service and relaxed feel to the place. This is very close to the Jurys Inn hotel. It has a mixture of different tables and chairs - a bit in the style of some Starbucks. Background music a little loud maybe but otherwise a good place for a break.

Great coffee, nice location and comfortable. It took a little while to get my coffee delivered as there was a long line of people waiting to be served, but once ready it was delicious

I did not know anything about Harris and Hoole before last week, when I was in Chelsea area looking for a warm place where to have a coffee. I have ordered a white Americano and had also some ginger biscuits. They were both good. Ambience is warm and cozy. The guy who helped me at the till was extremely energetic and full of positive energy! The price was fair and they also offer you a loyalty card for a free coffee after 8 you purchase. Only one negative note: chairs are way too high in comparison to coffee tables. Will definitely come back if in the area!

Great to have this new coffee spot in the "concrete jungle" that is Imperial Wharf. Not only is the coffee excellent but they do a good selection of pastries for breakfast and fantastic good value sandwiches for lunch. The service was a bit erratic when it first opened but it has settled down and the staff are always welcoming
