Bit loud but in essence that's what you want from a watering hole. Food was decent and the staff were lovely

Amazing place. Went there first time 3 adults and 2 kids. Staff was amazingly supportive. Very tasty food and very decent prices, good size portions. Will definitely come back again.

Was served by the very lovely Kami who was very professional and polite. The food was great and I highly recommend the BOGF (by one get one free) Thursdays. Excellent burger and chips.

Me and a friend came in for lunch today we come into the harrier if we are in the area.food was really good as usual, but we were served today by emiles sorry if spelt wrong, but he was so attentive, very polite ,nothing was too much trouble for him,he's a credit to your team

Grand daughters pudding was over cooked. Once we made them aware they were very quick to rectify offering a larger portion which made her feel special. Overall a good experience.

Had a wonderful experience. Every time I come here with my gf we always order the xl mix grill, always on point. The team are always friendly and make you feel welcome.

Walked in at 1230 on a Sunday lunchtime. Two bar staff working slowly and when I asked if a table for 2 was available bartender had to walk around the empty tables looking for one. Came back looking doubtful saying we could take it but would have to be gone by 530!!! Didnt show us to the table just left us standing there. Asked for a NZ sauvignon blanc and was told they don't have any. Menu says different. Asked for a prosecco instead but he couldn't understand the till so plumped for option 3. Lack of staff meant they tried serving regulars before me until I spoke up. Total lack of customer service here. Tiny amount of bacon in burgers. Asked for a chicken burger and they brought beef! Very slow service at bar. Never coming back. Will go back to Lincoln branch where they know about customer service.

Visited 31st August 2024. Superb!! As a birthday meal for my niece, staff were brilliant, especially Andrew, had the patience of a saint was brill with us all... Food was amazing!! Good value for money, will defo go again

Last several experiences have been disappointing given we have used the app to order our food and drinks to try to help bar and catering staff but waiting 50 mins for a burger and 35 mins for a drink is unacceptable. More staff with experience are required urgently.

A quick edit to my post. I went again last night. Plenty of staff and no excessive waiting to be served. There was the odd person trying to start a single file queue, but staff can't be blamed for that. It's 1-1 now, so I'll have to go again for a final judgement! Severely understaffed today. Had to queue 15 minutes for a drink. Also, what's with the single file queue out the door? All I wanted was to relax with a couple of drinks, but it was such a chore getting the drinks I couldn't relax. Having said that, the staff were excellent, there just wasn't enough of them

Took my family today for lunch. Yes, the food is good for a greene king pub. There was one person behind the bar serving, taking food and drinks order for the size of the bar, and you would think it would have had more staff. Also I think there is a cleaner may be on holiday as there were a few cob weds and the walls...it looks like black mould not sure If decoration.

The place has just completely gone down hill with the new manager, can see that all the staff are miserable and it seems like they're all leaving now too, even the life and sole of the place has left now, he was one of the main reasons that I kept going back as he always made my day, kev will definitely be missed, just an absolute shame about how the head guy was treating him, and to add, he's barred him too over some utter rubbish that he's made up, I wont be going again, utterly pathetic!!! The manager should be ashamed of himself and shouldnt be in charge

Service is atrocious, Over an hour wait for food and drinks ordered on the app still haven’t turned up after an hour.

Honestly would give this place a 0 stars if I could. My drinks order was messed up 4 times. I was given coke with no malibu twice and coke with a different mixer in to see if I would notice. They also forgot my partners drink too. After the 4th attempt and complaining I was advised there was no malibu and proceeded to wait 20 minutes for a replacement. Ordered two dishes for myself and my partner and his came out 20 minutes before mine arrived. We waited 75 minutes for food. No communication from the staff about wait times. No burgers, or garlic bread was available. We found out this an hour after ordering food. The food we did receive was not cooked properly and the lettuce was brown. Tried to complain to staff about the service but they did not care. Nor did they try to fix any of the issues that they caused.

Soooo went again after boycotting it for a while. Ordered on the app and everything arrived. The food was good but everything was placed on onions like a king size bed of onions. Overall very good experience. Will it become my local I doubt it.

I was at the harrier today with a friend and was most impressed with the food, and service especially Tommy who greeted us with a smile and was very polite and friendly.

Used to be my favorite pub till they remove steak fondue and few other cool dishes... very disappointed :(

I ordered chicken wings and they were cooked perfectly and very tasty. Alex served me at the bar with a smile and great service! Will definitely be returning.

Was served a 8oz rump steak which was like trying to eat rubber when the manager came over and ask if everything was ok with our food we said about the steak but he didnt show any interest at all and just walked off not very professional this wasn't the first time that the steak was tuff

Visited yesterday for the first time and had a great experience! The burgers were delicious and biscoff cheesecake for dessert was amazing! Service was quick and our waiter was very polite! The playlist in the background was also very good!😁 Will definitely be returning!

Fantastic place. Went out for a family meal with 17 people in total. Food was fast and hot Drinks were a good price too.

I started with a pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord, which was very nice and then ordered some food. I was a little irritated that I couldn't open a tab, using my phone wallet, but hey ho. I ordered a mixed grill, which came on a skillet and was presented well. There was plenty on the plate and I was glad I didn't have the larger one. There were plenty of TV screens with sports on, so if you're into that you'll be more than happy. I really enjoyed my meal and wouldn't hesitate to go back the next time I'm in the area. The staff behind the bar were very pleasant and the toilets were clean, although I can only comment on the gents.

I've been to quite a few Greene King pubs which haven't been great. This one bucks the trend though & have been here a few times. Nice atmosphere & friendly staff.

I've been coming here for many years food has been good .but went this week food was awful service poor even my glass smelt like a dog had rubbed itself around it .my misses and daughter complained about poorly cooked food and it being cold even though we waited 30 minutes .plus food was missing off the plate I.e tomatoes onions etc my large portion of chips consisted of 8 and 2 scraps .we complained all the chap said was he will convey our complaints to the kitchen .desert was almost that small had a job finding it .the ice cream was crystalised and tasteless .as I've said food here normally good .I spend close to £100 most times I go but I won't be going back

A budget food place, the food is always excellent, it could put other restaurants to shame, staff always friendly and work hard

Popped in for a Sunday roast, and the beef was pretty good the vegetables were a little limp but edible. And it was on the table in about 10 minutes, very fast.

My sister, her friend, and me called in for a delicious meal of sizzling hunters gammon with chips and peas , was piping hot til the last mouthful .Well presented .staff very friendly nothing to much trouble highly recommend .

Walked in with a group of 11, handled us really well. The bar staff and manager/owner where really helpful and friendly. We all have a good time and meal with the one fault being a waiter who wasn't super clear with what he was handing out, but we didn't make it easy tbf

Not overly impressed, food came out a little too quickly and not convinced it was cooked to order but reheated. Peas cold on mixed grill, my burger was OK, chips were luke warm towards the centre, cold around the edges. Nothing on my plate was hot so disappointed and probably wouldn't go back.

Came this evening and I have to say what a disappointment so much so I won't be back. The menu choices are great but clearly there was issues with the chef so much so there were a lot of disappointed people not just our table. Food over cooked and Craig handled it well but was clearly embarrassed. Everyone moans that people no longer go out as much and eat out it isn't the cost it is the inconsistency of not knowing you are going to get a good meal. We only eat most of it as was so hungry after quite a long wait and not wanting to cook after being at work. We were refunded for the meal and I can't fault front of house but if the chef didn't want to be there then just close the kitchen you get more of a bad reputation by sending out poor food. The refund was appreciated but that isn't what we wanted we came for a good meal and ended up leaving hungry with a bad taste and now a restaurant we won't be coming back to. I have never left anyone a poor review but in this case this needs taking on board and improvements made. Let us know when you have a different chef with a better attitude and we might consider giving you the benefit of doubt again.

1st time going there. It a nice place, busy night there on a Friday night

We are a group of 6 who regularly have a mid week lunch - food quality is very good, freshly cooked and a very good price. Accept it’s a “pub” atmosphere as opposed to a restaurant but although busy we have never had a issue, we will continue to enjoy our visits

Three of us went for lunch on Sunday and I was really disappointed. It was really noisy with the lunch time beer drinkers, which can't be helped. We found a table and ordered on line. I ordered the Sunday roast which I have to say was awful. Three slices of beef which were really thick and hard to cut, it was a bit chewy, and there was a lot of gristle which also made it hard to cut through. I only ate one slice. The mashed potato was a yellowy colour and had a crust on the outside, so I think had been left and reheated in the oven when needed, the Yorkshire pudding was crispy at the top and soggy inside and roast potatoes looked nice but were soft. The good part was the veg, carrots and green beans. The gravy came in a gravy boat, which was nice, but had a bit of a skin on top and was really thick, hard to pour and luke warm. The whole meal was only just warm and I left most of it for all of those reasons. The two other meals from the menu were good and had no complaints. I didn't complain because it was a meal for my birthday and I wasn't paying, but it was far from satisfactory.

Manager has a great sense of humour even when I mistakenly thought I knew him hahahaha the food was nice and it was reasonably priced. Polite barmaid also and very approachable x

Easily found just off of the main roundabout. Plenty of free parking. There are benches outside and a small children's play area. There's also smoking outside. Inside there's TV, a pool table and a dart board. You choose your table, and order and pay at the bar with your table number.. You can also order online and pay online too. Service was very quick and sauces and cutlery were brought to the table.. This is a very social place, with children and families welcome. They're currently doing a Christmas menu but it needs booking in advance. Definitely a good choice for hearty food. Disabled toilets available.

Food was ok wasn't the best all food that came to the table had onions on🤢 Man stood in dirty clothes behind the bar like not even in uniform. Only thing I could say was the lady who served me was lovely and friendly l.

This is a fabulous pub to visit. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they all seem to be genuinely wanting to make sure you have a great time. The food is brilliantly prepared by people who really know how to cook. I can honestly say, I have never been to a nicer pub, and if the rest of the chain are as good as The Harrier, then I'd bet they will always be in business. Definitely a 5* pub.
