Harley's Bar and Restaurant in Chesterfield

We are new to the area and we're advised by a neighbour to come for a visit and for food. Very welcoming atmosphere nice decor and amazing mozzarella sticks and fish and chips. The chips are the very best I have ever had in a restaurant. They were soft cooked to perfection just like home made. Great friendly service so we will be back for Sunday carvery very soon.

We had a wonderful stay on 19th September, we were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived the couple who owns the place and all the staff were lovely as well oh especially the squatter Naythan lol room was nice , clean and comfortable , had some banter with the locals got the taxi sorted thank you all and see you soon Steve and Michele Petryszyn Bedfordshire

Just like a home made meal. Good value & a very tasty experience. Four meat carvery. Small car park but plenty of places close with free parking available.

I thought this 3* hotel was very good value for money. Room was a very decent size and the team went to a lot of trouble to ensure my vegan needs were catered for; not just at dinner but also proactively offering soya milk for the room (take note other hotels!!). Only criticism was breakfast starting at 9am is too late for someone on business like myself, although Morrison's across the road is a convenient replacement! The friendly and helpful staff made this an enjoyable stay.

La camera si presenta adeguata per pernotti di una famiglia composta da 3 persone...adulte. Tranquilla e pulita nella media inglese. Ho usufruito del ristorante per una cena e sono rimasto soddisfatto del piatto che ho scelto. Il personale è stato gentilissimo. Lo consiglio, anche per la posizione strategica rispetto alle strutture e alle cittadine vicine.

Called in for a beer and enjoyed watching the footie with a few more beers to follow...Good atmosphere and friendly patrons

Sunday carvery is brilliant all veg fresh and quality meat staff are very friendly plenty of parking close by beer resonably priced

We had a carvary that was substantial & fresh. Clean throughout & a spacious dining area. Will return in the near future is my recommendation.

One of the funniest places I have been to when I had gammon and egg and pineapple and veg and chips and was the best meal I had since 2015 and both Keith and Linda are both my favourite staff

Me & the missus called in for a drink and found that it was a bit pricey and the atmosphere didn't encourage us to want anymore.

Popped in on the off chance for a Sunday roast. We were not disappointed. The food was absolutely lovely, nice and hot, all home made, we really enjoyed it and would recommend it.

We hired a room out for a party, to be honest the place could do with a makeover, carpet has seen better days and the toilets had no locks. Not enough staff on for the size of the party however the two staff that were working - were very helpful and friendly. Great Jaeger bomb glasses.

Worst pub I ever I have been to Keith is the worst Oner I have seen he makes races comments on people's football team t- shirts and all of the drinks are very expensive even his other pub called Tilly's as well

I enjoyed this old traditional town center pub in Staveley with its emphasis on music and historical pop music. The Carvery was very tastey and the staff very hard working and eager to please. A lot goes on in this pub as the owners do a lot for the community. I like this old fashioned pub with its distinctive character. I will definitely come here again!!
