Great pub. Wonderfully friendly atmosphere. Nothing fancy. Lovely beer garden too. Beer is always 'Bang on'

Stopped for a swift pint before moving on. Sport was on the screens and the pub had a good local atmosphere. I'd definitely pop in again in the future.

The staff were great, very helpful,really wanted us to have the best experience, dog friendly. The usual crowd pleaser beers, well attended by the locals, good atmosphere. Drop by if you are in the area.

The Hare & Hounds in Leven is a pub I have known for many years. This former tetley pub has changed a lot it was extensively altered in the 1970s and has been changed a lot since then, but it is still a nice community pub in the heart of the village. Nice range of beers and cider. Friendly welcoming staff a nice outside seating area, with a large car park. A good place for our car club to meet up. Dog friendly

Great friendly pub but only does food on a Sunday. Trip advisor needs updating as went for food but none till Sunday carvery. Highly recommended the warm pork scratchings 😋

Nice local pub we went in to watch football I didn't eat there but the Sunday dinners looked very nice

We were actually in Indian restaurant part of Pub . Extremely noisy from Pub , no atmosphere at all Had booked for 7.30 got served at 7.50 , had to get own drinks Food very oily It was a Birthday celebration so very disappointed Best description an Indian Cafe

Really well kept beers and a nice pub

We were there to eat at Mirchi the Indian Restaurant. They food is lovely. We will definitely return.

On holiday nearby campsite, went into this lovely dog friendly pub and Indian restaurant, obviously couldn't go in restaurant with dog but they bought our EXCELLENT Indian meal through to the bar, 10 out of 10 for customer service and food

We visited a couple of times while staying on nearby caravan site. We were made to feel welcome by the landlord even shown into room with open fire. Will definetly visit again next time we are in the area.

Arrived late on a Sunday afternoon looking for a cosy Sunday dinner, we were not disappointed. The fish and chips with homemade tartar sauce were delicious and the sea bass was also cooked very well and wonderfully presented The outstanding feature was the service, particularly from Jane who was warm, welcoming and very funny. A lovely experience, we will be back ☺️

Landlord doesn't like anybody that comes from West Yorkshire. Don't spend your money there.

The Hare and Hounds is a lovely village pub run by Vicky and Darren who are really nice and always make you feel welcome as do all their staff. They have a very good selection off drinks
