Always so friendly and accommodating, food always so fresh and you get what you pay for so worth it in my opinion.

I drive 25 miles to go to this chippy it is absolutely beautiful! The chips are the best chips you can physically get, the food standards is exceptional. The staff are really friendly and efficient. The menu is to die for. I cannot recommend this chippy enough it is well worth travelling to

I was Served by a very kind and polite blonde young man as well as two young lady’s, they gave excellent service and the food arrived very quickly. I shall definitely be here again soon!

Tried this place for the first time, and wow! The flavors were amazing, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the packaging was neat. Will definitely be back!

And here we are again, blamed the delivery driver. I ordered doner meat and chips twice no sauce. Got doner meat and mayo: rang up told the delivery driver has done it - what stole chips and added mayo? drove down bloke in charge called me darling over and over again. Asked him repeatedly to not do it. Blamed the young kid about the order. Then tried to give me fish and chips s meat was Turned off 9.45. I said no I wanted order. DO NOT ORDER FOR DELIVERY FROM HERE

Absolutely love this place! The food is amazing the kebabs are so tender and delicious and the service is first class. This is my go to place, I travel about 15 miles to get there. This place has absolutely everything. I can place my order for my food it’s all made to order so don’t mind the slight wait, let me explain why. Well on some occasions I might squeeze in a fresh pint of draught beer Poretti or Estrella it’s so good and on other occasions I might have a cheeky dessert before dinner. Try their freshly made ice cream it’s out of this world. This place is more than your local chippy!! Go down check it out you won’t be disappointed. 10/10.

Delivery was bang on time and the food was beyond excellent. I've had food from here several times now and it has always been top notch.

Beautiful place and very clean. Bought a takeaway large Haddock and large chips plus chicken curry and chips. Chips were delicious and large portion is a good size. The large haddock was disappointing, it really wasn’t large. Chicken curry and chips were very tasty but couldnt tell how much chicken was in the sauce. Didn’t appear to be much but we did enjoy it. Due the small size of the fish for £9.50, sorry but we won’t be back as the fish is a deal breaker for us. Also was a 25 minute wait for the food ( but that was a Friday evening and peak time in fairness).

food was meant to come with salt and vinegar had none. Fries were undercooked. The food was also crushed on top with the driver handing me a ripped bag that ripped more when give to me almost spilling the food.

Food was great, really tasty & hot. Some of my chicken was slightly pink. (Southern fried) but I’m still here!😁. Just needed cooking longer that’s all. Chips are THE best.

That said, the portion sizes can sometimes be a little underwhelming, especially given the price. Ordered for 6.15 and it arrived just gone 6.45 also fish was not normal quality batter was like breadcrumbs never had it like that before ! Also quantity of chops was less then normal

Bought fish / cod & chips to take away. It was well cooked, though the size of the fish was shockingly small. Give their higher prices, this was a let down. I won't be going back. I ordered the regular, which is the size of a small in most places. I dread to see what the size of a small portion would be. It's not about my appetite or due to confusion, it's about the portions being small. They charge more and serve less.

We had two kebab meat and salad meals from yourselves on Thursday evening 16/1/25 at 19.30 we only live on the woodloes and and we have been to your chip shop a lot of times. and this time the chips was fine but the kebab meat was that cold we didn't eat for 28.90 pounds I expect it to be hot at least

First time we came here, the guy who served us - we think his name was Tuana, apologies if that’s incorrect - was brilliant, so friendly and let us try the sauces as we didn’t know what to chose. He had loads of recommendations for us. We had a kebab, cod and chips. Inside was cute to sit and had good music. Would definitely recommend and will try the desserts next time we go.

First time tonight. Best fish and chips I’ve had since moving to the area. Quality and service fantastic. Not cheap but definitely the best. Had fish chips and mushy peas and battered sausage and chips with Irish curry sauce. Bag of chips is too many for one so hoping the left overs air fry tomorrow.

Beautiful chips like you have never had anywhere else! Soft on the inside lovely and crunchy on the outside. Mesmerisingly flakey fish, and not greasy at all. Nice pot o peas as well

Lovely chips, very unique with the slight batter on them. Lamb Kebab was not that nice, meat way too thick, would be much better thinner slice. Overall very good chips, average kebab, but so very overpriced for the meal

My curry sauce leaked out on the whole packaging, I’m not impressed as I was looking forward to my meal

I have uses this chip shop since moved here and Gaffa and MOST staff polite bar 1 I have issue with him every time I go in and nothing done tonight topped me off unless h spoken to. And talks to people in correct manor they will no longer have my custom regusrlly as I use way he spoke to me almost made me cry and I’m strong man but I don’t retaliate and bottle it all in

Fantastic food but we sat in and the door was left open for ages on a really cold night making it uncomfortable. Would definitely visit again for takeaway but not to eat in unless the weather was warmer.

Personally I don't believe you can take a great British institution such as fish and chips and try to make it better. I'm not sold on the gourmet chips. To me this wasn't traditional fish and chips and I was disappointed.

Food was absolutely beautiful! Wanted something small but the chilli cheesy chips were overloaded with chips! Never been to a place where you actually get the cheese you ask for! Will definitely be coming back.

The food is phenomenal, so fresh, and just delicious, we had the cod and the kebab which was so good and I’ve previously tried the burger and it is so tasty and fresh. Could not fault the service, we were served by a very polite staff member who even let us sample the different sauce. We now don’t go to any other chippys, this is the best one by far.

Gave this place 1 star pity you can not give it zero stars or a minus score Went to the counter to order the person on the till did not know how to use the till called the manager over then was overcharged by 2 pounds to what it said on menu Went on a Saturday dinner time only got 2 customers Finally got the food after a 20 minute wait The food was very small portions and tasted absolutely disgusting Had a bad stomach all night and had severe diarrhoea I would not recommend this place and I certainly would not use this place again even if I lived next door to it or if the food was free!!!

This is what i call excellent quality food, i always pop in when im visiting the in laws,. Their menu is vast with just about everything you could possibly want. Take a trip, you wont be disappointed.

Great food and friendly service

Normally love coming to Harbury Catch as it’s the best fish and chips around. However, I went in at 9pm after checking that they close at 9:30pm and stood there waiting to be served. There was one person tidying things up by the fryers and one person sitting at one of the tables. I waited to be served but wasn’t acknowledged. In the end I walked back out and got something elsewhere.

The most delicious fish and chips in the area. The chips in particular are mega.

the food from here is amazing over the last few months I have tried quite a bit of the menu and none of it disappoints . The chips are the best and I don’t normally eat chip shop chips until I tried these ones

There is literally nothing to complain about. Clean and tidy, great food, friendly staff, a must for anyone wanting great chip shop food.

Before going to try a any new restaurant, I always read the Reviews, Almost all of the reviews here are great, but I found a few that were pretty bad. Finally I tried myself and to be Honest, the food was exceptional, the staff friendly and welcoming and the place is well decorated, worthy of a great restaurant. So when I read opinions such as (the door was open and it's cold or not enough salt on my fries) I find it stupid. In short, I heartily recommend!

We went to Harbury Catch on monday the 14th of October and it was the best chip shop experience we have ever had the atmosphere was great and the food was perfect it was actually better then normal and the service was on point

Visited twice , love the interior. Ordered chips , great texture and taste. Service was friendly and thorough. Like the buzzer system fir waits. Would recommend .

Came in on a Sunday, ordered a kebab burger and skin on fries. Food was given to me fresh and warm. Have been going to harbury catch from day one, and I have never had a problem with the food, Ice-creams etc. Service is always friendly and food is always amazing. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Pre ordered 2 gluten free fish and chips for 5pm. The phone line was really bad so had to repeat myself multiple times. Arrived to find the food wasn't ready. I was most disappointed when I unpacked the food and found the large fish was what I'd expect of a small fish. I then opened the bag of chips to find they weren't the "luxury" chips just standard chips. I paid over £30 for 2 fish and chips. I would say these were one of the worst gluten free fish and chips I've ever tasted.

On our way home to East Yorkshire from Malvern it was teatime and time for something to eat. Purely but chance the Harbury Catch came up on Google so dropped by. Pleased we did, excellent food, nicely prepared and very pleasant staff.

Amazing food! had the lamb wrap and chips - 10/10 definitely coming back. You can tell the food is fresh, would recommend.

I travel a lot for work so I try a lot of different takeaways , I can tell you this chip shop is one of the best I have tried the food is all cooked fresh and tastes amazing and the choices are fantastic , also if you still have room they also have some fantastic deserts . Friendly staff and fairly priced for the amount of great food you get highly recommended

Best restaurant I have been to in a long while, the chips were perfect and the fish to die for but the best part was definitely the staff, it's quite rare to see people that warm and helpful. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area!

I Have been eating here for a while and always rate this place.Today i got 4 cod and chips and they were horrible.Chips didn’t taste cooked and hard and soggy.Fish seems to of downsized yet price gone up.Curry sauce nice.Such a shame as we travel 30 mins to come here for a treat and after spending £60 today i won’t be returning.

Best "Posh" fish and chip anywhere ! The ice cream is also amazing. Try the gravy.........that's all I'm saying.

Have to say was great food and service however. Recently just eaten fish n chips and the quality has gone down hill a lot far from there best and at those prices they shouldn’t Chips soaked fat and fish portions are nearly half size.barely a reflection of the last encounters yes prices go up but quality should never be taken lightly like the batter on fish was just mush in places and the chip consistency wasn’t there either tasting old and reheated not to say they are but the chips were foul. And looking at half size fish just takes the biscuit. Won’t travel there again can get mush on me door step for a lot less.

Probably the best fish and chips I’ve had! Always cooked fresh to order, waiting time is reasonable as they are cooking to order,so don’t get inpatient and complain,it isn’t like maccies. It’s actual fresh food ! I had the sausage and chips, and my god the Irish curry sauce is the best! The manager is always lovely and so are the staff, they all work hard non stop, I always come here on a night ,or even come for a milkshake,which is always great. Prices are also reasonable!

Worst service known to man. Got shouted at by what I can only assume is the owner as his incompetent workers left my chips on the side for 15 mins before making my meal. So asked for fresh chips to be told they have only been out 1 min / 3 mins by various people. Could have just apologised and got on with it. No such thing as customer is right at this place Time stamp on the receipt clearly shows I was waiting 20 mins and got told I was lying about how long I have been waiting. Very unprofessional. Learn how to treat your customers especially when they are paying £15 for meat and chips. Safe to I will not be returning after being spoken to like that.

I’m new in the area and someone recommended this place to me by saying it’s the best fish and chips, with the chips being really really good. I gave it a try and I have to say this place goes straight to the Podium 🏆🏆🏆. I wasn’t sure what to order so I was given a little try of the sauces and the chips. They were so yummy… the Irish curry sauce is truly amazing. My food was really good and tasty, you can tell is fresh. I ordered a small dish from the lunch menu and was enough to make me full! I’m certainly coming back for more! Food and service Top Notch!

The chicken was nicely cooked however the salad was not fresh on the burgers and they were very soggy. The chips were also definitely not fresh and the food is poor quality for the premium prices paid.

I don’t think its an exaggeration to say they serve the greatest chips in the history of the planet.

Absolutely hands down best chip shop I’ve been to since living in Warwick. Fish and chips were nice and crisp not soggy and I tried the sun lover gelato cake which was some of the best cake I’ve had. Definitely be coming back

poor quality food - delivered in expensive packaging. We were recommended this chippy from a friend and decided to use it than that our usual 2 or 3 that are in our area. We were very disappointed. The small fish and chip combo meal had a tiny piece of fish surrounded by huge quantity of chips. All the chips were orange in colour. Yes crispy on the outside but undercooked and rubbery on the inside. It left a weird slimy taste in your mouth. Strange. The prices on some of the things are ridiculous - £3.75 for curry sause... we were expecting something a bit special - it was no better than the curry sauce we get from our usual chippy that charges a quid for a portion. This place is trying to be something it's not. You're just paying for fancy packaging. I'm very surprised it has such high reviews. We'll back to our other usual chippies which are nearly a 1/3 cheaper and higher quality.

Absolutely brilliant spot! We usually do a large order every Saturday. Customer service is always 10/10 (and the manager is lovely). The food is fresh and delicious and the portion sizes are great (we love a generous restaurant). And, the restaurant itself is beautiful, nice seating areas inside and outside.

Really disappointed that I’ve just got home with my order to find out they have covered it with salt and vinegar when stated none of the order and the receipt stapled to the bag! I shouldn’t have to check my food before leaving…but I guess I will have to next time. Waste of money!!!

I recently visited Harbury catch and was thoroughly impressed with entire experience. The fish was incredibly fresh, with a perfect flaky texture, enveloped inca crispy,golden batter that wasn't overly greasy. The chips were the ideal complement thick cut crispy and portion size were generous, offering excellent value for the price. I felt like I truly got my money's worth.

Can’t say I rate this wanna be london fish and chip shop. Don’t stand near the counter, get you little fancy buzzer thing and wait outside or in your car until it buzzes. Rather go to my local fish shop in Bishop’s and keep it real!!! First and last time I will ever come here 🙄🙄🙄

Absolutely brilliant experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile by the lovely owner. The fish and chips were simply out of this world. The fish was perfectly cooked, with a crispy golden batter that encased the most tender and flavorful fillet I've ever tasted. The chips were equally impressive, wonderfully crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. It's clear that only the freshest ingredients are used here, and the attention to detail is impeccable. But the culinary delights don't stop at the fish and chips. They also offer a range of heavenly gelato that is not to be missed. With a variety of flavors that are both classic and inventive, there's something to please every palate. Tried for the first time tonight after hearing many rave reviews from friends and neighbours. We all had different things (kebab, chicken burger, fish) and we all thought the food was excellent (not overly greasy, good quality ingredients, batter is light). The one thing to say is the portions are large. None of us could finish our food (the chips are especially good). The Harbury Catch may be more expensive than others but its quality and quantity is worth every pence.
