Came in a stranger left a local. Great staff lovely locals who had a good chat and played pool with my son. Would recommend.

What a change! I came here as a child and came back 2 years ago and walked out and left drinks due to the smell. Now it’s clean, refurbished and totally transformed. The beautiful view to Harbour back. The place is clean the decor is lovely and drinks spot on. Definitely recommend now and we’re coming back tonight. Well done on a well needed successful refurb.

We use this Pub every time when in Bridlington it’s changed over the years from what you could only describe as a very grubby pub in to somewhere nice and relaxing with Harbour views. The one thing that always stood out was the beers on offer well looked after and the great prices. Will be going back on our next visit to Bridlington!!!

Very good place. Cheap Guinness at 2 90 a pint. Efficient quick barstaff and it's clean. Well worth a visit. Cheapest good quality Guinness I've had for a long time. Be sure to visit if you're in Bridlington. The view over the harbour on a sunny day is great

Great atmosphere for all ages, I visited the harbour tavern last Saturday it was a fab day and night the music was brilliant and you could dance and sing your heart out. The staff were amazing and the owners Tammy and Neil were exceptional they all went above and beyond. Drinks were great so much selection hot drinks and so many different gins and beers. I will definitely be returning soon

The harbour tavern is a fantastic pub great atmosphere the bar staff are helpful and polite the pub was busy but still plenty of room to sit and enjoy the entertainment of karaoke also a great view out to the sea and coastline will be visiting there again real soon

Lovely friendly staff amazing views. my partner was cold and didnt want a cold drink they gave her a lovely coffee free of charge and gave us a bowl Of water for our dog . Lovely view of the sea and harbour and the hot radiator was well loved .

The Harbour Tavern is a clean and tidy pub with a main bar area and another room overlooking the harbour. On a wet Tuesday evening in December it was rather quiet but with music on the speakers and good service it was a pleasant place for a beer.

Called in yesterday,on a day trip to Bridlington.Had a half pint of Guinness,only £1.25.I couldn't believe the low prices in this pub.It was a good Guinness,and poured properly too.Nice place to sit for a while and look out over the harbour.

Went here on a jolly boys trip 2 bus loads. Great boozer cheap beer good quality as well. Staff were great. Pub is mint. Nice and clean. We'll be back again and I'll also recommend it to friends.

Fantastic, very clean. Tables were wiped down and chairs were sprayed with anti bacterial spray as soon as vacated. Loos were clean too. Cheapest beer we have seen in a long time.staff very polite. Dog friendly ( we went in to shelter from the sun with our old dog. Would recommend this oasis of a watering hole to anyone..

Was in Bridlington for the day as we had our little dog with us searched for a dog friendly pub and came across The Harbour Tavern and so pleased we did a very nice pub no food but oh how cheap were the drinks a pint of beer or lager for £2.20 can’t get better than that and friendly service as well next time I’m in Brid I’ll be heading for The Harbour Tavern.

This place is the pits. They're dog friendly as long as you're a local. If you're not they'll insist you muzzle a friendly dog even though at least 2 other dogs were making noise whilst we were in. The visit didn't exactly start well either being told we're putting you on a high table because they're full! (They weren't full at all). The only positive I can say is that they seemed to be cleaning tables frequently. Seriously if you're not local and own a dog I'd avoid. Unfriendly staff and customers. AVOID

Lovely traditional old pub right on the harbour. Drinks are really cheap. Pint of Moretti for 2.35! Very down to earth in here and friendly staff. If you are a bit stuck up then maybe not for you, but we lovely it.

fancied a quick drink while passing was not to sure to go in as looked dirty on entering I it smelt like dried sweat and BO and dodgy aftershave was shown a table well more pointed yeah it’s down there when got to table it was dirty and not been sanatised and due to covid this was a big issue was told “ thought it had been done” yet she was the only member of staff walking around with spray in her hand a dirty cloth.Ordered drinks was served by a young girl with no please thank you or a smile ( may I suggest brush up on customer service) or get new staff and have a re furb aswell or just shut the place down! It’s disgusting and dirty and smells where was was sitting of urine.Reported them to EHO I’m sure they would have a field day here... see picture for dirty carpet Place is disgusting avoid it I had to wipe my feet on the way out and go straight home to change my clothes and sanitise myself

Having read some the reviews prior to visiting we were slightly concerned but were assured we would get what we paid for...and this place is ludicrously cheap! The beers have a faint smell of steamed fart but can’t grumble for the price. The lady behind the bar was without a doubt someone i am blessed to have met. Cheap, cheap, cheap!

I dont go out as much as I use to but always start the night of at this pub reading some of the reviews shock me as it's a lovely pub friendly staff and full of cheerfull locals enjoying there selfs. If you out for a night out and after a good laugh this the the pub for you even if you were out alone ud soon be welcome by the staff and locals and make new friends and memories

Been to Bridlington a few times but the first time we went in here. Found out about this place, recommended by a friend. On this occasion we had been for the BDO darts tournament at the Spa. The Harbour Tavern is only a short walk away.Cheap drinks, lovely friendly bar staff and local customers, and varied music. Ideal place to go, lovely view of the harbour. Can't wait to go again!

Sat on the harbour with views out to sea. You can watch lobsters being unloaded from the local fishing fleet whilst enjoying a very reasonably priced pint. 👍👍

On a recent trip to Bridlington with friends we arrive in this pub only to be greeted by absolutely shocking service behind the bar. The lady who served me was very arrogant and a real snob. I asked her to change me a pint that went flat & tasted very off.. to which she refused (bare in mind I’ve paid for this) I said why & she said you either have that pint or none at all. She said she was there to help customers but if this is what she calls help then maybe she needs some herself! The place itself is very scruffy! We may have been tourists but everyone should be treated with respect like the regulars are!

Come here regularly during our frequent holidays at Flamborough Head, last visited in Saturday afternoon Great beer, fantastic prices, fab music and you can even take your own food...... what more could you ask for.Fabulous location overlooking the harbour and dogs are welcome too.Forget Wetherspoons, give this place a try, there’s no comparison!!!

What a great view of the Harbour and South beach! Unfortunately the seagulls have dive-bombed the windows, spoiling the panoramic vista. We visited this pub for the first time and what drew us in was the sign on the back door saying you can take your own food inside. So we got some delicious crab sandwiches from the seafood shop along the road and washed it down with a pint of Bud. It was a good combination but what would have made it better is for the Windows to be washed daily. It's quite off putting to see from the outside to see the Windows plastered with seagull poo. Inside it was just fine with nice clean tables and low key music. We will visit again soon to see if you have done anything about the windows, maybe it will be a Subway or fish and chips washed down with wine next time. With Wetherspoons closed for a while here is your chance to get new regulars. By the way, is the upstairs room open during the dsy?

Well where do I start this pub has a very large selection of largers and beers for a very Fantastic prices if you after a good afternoon or night you will definitely enjoy it it has very friendly staff some people may not find its there cup of tea but thay definitely look after there beer and I can say I have never had a bad pint in there ever we do go quite a lot when we are in Bridlington

Place is full of alcoholics, place stinks of stale ale cigs and desperation we walked in on a Saturday tea time, and turned straight around and ran for the door, we are just glad we got out alive

We always come here when we are in Brid. Friendly staff, cheap beer and good atmosphere. Does need a little tlc though. Would be worth the extra 10p on a pint (at there prices) to have this done and maybe blinds for the top half of the windows.

Looks rough and ready from the outside and inside is dated! But....staff are really friendly it's clean, warm and welcoming. Doggy friendly and the beer is cheap! Plenty of other pubs in Bridlington but we always come to this one! You can eat your own food here which is a good touch too! Don't be put off by the outside cos it's a little gem on the inside!We love it!

We call in the Harbour tavern every time we are in Brid and are never disappointed the beer is of a good quality served by friendly staff the company is good and most of all ITS CHEAP. A pint of Mansfield ale £ 1.95 a pint of Fosters 2.00 the interior needs revamping but apart from that what a great pub give it a go.

Great atmosphere great people and cheap beer what more can you ask for.shame about the lack of investment from the Brewers "marstons " who wont invest in the necessary repairs both to the kitchen and the pub in general.

Proper pub some characters which you will get with the beer prices they give it away will be back -felt welcome and at ease -what you need when on holiday!!!

We visit here every time we come to Bridlington yes it stinks yes there are a few regulars that are a bit pungent to say the least but every time we go in there all we ever feel is friendly people just enjoying themselves.

Can’t go wrong with the prices, great value! Obviously very popular with the locals.Very unpleasant smell inside and it really needs doing up. All the upholstery is stained - might account for some of the smell - ceiling still visibly stained from cigarette smoke. Very neglected but nevertheless cheerful place.

If you are after cheap beer and don’t mind a wobbly alky and the tantalising smell of wee wee this place is spot on. £2 a pint and only£2:25 for premium beers. Service is spot on and fantastic views of Brid harbour and bay.

We were tempted in by the blackboards advertising £2 drinks. We stayed all night and sampled quite a few of their offers but this place is getting very rundown and needs a good refurbishment. The toilets smell and the furnishings are very tired now ,...

One year on and still smells!!! Brewery /owners get a grip!! One drink moved on....would have stayed longer revenue lost...

Went here for drinks good value, staff very friendly smiling and good service. Made the mistake to go into the back to over see the harbour oh dear. The place stank, an old alcoholic women swaying around, dirty seating, wall paper falling off the walls, windows covered in sea gull crap so you could not see out of them.

We were drawn in by the blackboards displaying pints of lager/beer for around £2 a pint. A Bud and Guineas duly ordered! Then came the disappointment.. It was busy in the first bar area, so we wandered down to the other end, hoping to enjoy the view of the harbour from the large window. What greeted us was the smell of stale urine. The smell you get from an unfortunate tramp who is unable to wash his clothes. This was not just a waft from the also rather unpleasant toilets. May we suggest you re-cover all your chairs and buy a new carpet, along with a little clean everywhere! Your large window with views of the harbour could benefit from a more regular clean too. Understandably seagulls crapping on windows is an issue in any seaside town, so you would have a regular window cleaner, particularly for such a large window. Not in your case.. We left as soon as we'd finished our pint due to the vile urine smell and general yucky feel of the place. Shame, good value beer. Stop letting drunk old men pee on your furnishings!

Smell of toilets as soon as you walk in

This is one of several bad rough and ready pubs in this area. Toilets and surrounding areas stunk of urine. Tables were dirty and overall surroundings grim. The price of the drinks saves this place from a zero. All in all a bad pub in a bad area.

We sat in the lower bar area which gives a fantastic view of the harbour. However there is a very strong smell in this area which obviously comes from the toilets and the tables were dirty. However we were very impressed with the female member of bar staff. She was extremely friendly and when we came to the bar for a second round she knew exactly what we wanted even though the pub was very busy and she had never seen us before that visit. I know good bar staff should be able to do this but we find it doesn't happen very often. With a good clean this pub could be excellent.

We called at the harbour tavern in Bridlington and found great customer service but found this great pub a bit run down with a mismatch of both tables and especially the chairs we tried to order food only to be told the kitchen was out of action what a shame as we have enjoyed meals here previously and were disappointed great beer from Marston one of my personal favourites " Hobgoblin" so give it a lick of paint chuck out the dirty furnishings and bring it up to a better standard like the one set by the staff and the beer.
