Had a great lunch here at the weekend. I had the buttermilk chicken on a waffle with poached egg and salsa and it was super; the chicken was perfectly cooked and the flavours and textures worked perfectly together. It was so good I ate it slowly as I didn't want it to finish! My wife had the smashed avocado and it worked in exactly the same way. Add to this their lovely locally roasted coffee, a shared brownie to finish, really nice staff leaving two happy punters. Will definitely be back.

Superb Melbourne style coffee, really tasty food. Really fantastic lunch. I had the breakfast muffin - packed with flavour and surprises. Would highly recommend

What a great place. Fab Scandi-like setup inside, beautiful coffee and delicious food. I stopped for breakfast whilst in Belfast with work. The porridge bowl was absolutely delicious, with fresh fruit and candied nuts making it so much better than any old porridge! Locals, you are lucky!!

Sat for ages to give our order, then asked a member of staff, then waited even longer for tables to be served that had arrived after ourselves. Finally got to order our food , when it arrived it was not what we had ordered. Very disappointed with the service and the food. Ironically enough we were asked if we wanted a loyalty card on the way out!

If this is what they eat for brunch in Mexico, I'm moving there. Food was fabulous and the service impeccable.

This was terrible, a large selection of the menu was unavailable so I ordered a meal that came on 3 separate side plates that was clearly for 1 person, when asked to put onto 1 plate the staff took it away and loaded 1 small side plate with everything, the sourdough was burnt. They had no selection of sugar free drinks at all for diabetics which is my dietary requirement so I had to order water that came with a glass that resembled a dogs water bowl. Will never be back

Called in when passing - I had noticed a frequent queue to get into their place in Newtownards and thought we would give it a go. I'm a foodie and love to cook and I have the simple benchmark that if the food is as good as I would make myself then I'm happy but if the food is better I'm ecstatic. Happily Haptic falls into the latter category and punches way above its weight for the brunch experience. Every plate is a picture, the staff polite, the interior attractive but the tastes and flavours really bang out. You can sense the energy from the young guys in the kitchen and they are rocking it. Love it love it.

We called in for a light lunch and were pleased and impressed in almost every way. The food was tasty and the service was polite, if a little too relaxed. The main annoyance was, subjectively speaking, the loudness, unpleasantness, choice and lack of necessity of the background music that played incessantly for someone’s benefit, maybe that of the staff. Maybe this says more about me, though. Prices were not too unreasonable and there is good reason to return.

We tried Haptik Newtownards and liked it so now we have tried Haptik Belfast and liked it better. Especially as it was cool inside on the one day this year NI is experiencing Sharan like temperatures (ie well into the 20c degrees territory) Coffee is excellent, Service and food likewise. Attentive staff, nice decor. Avacado does make an appearance on the menu, not sure if sourdough got a look in but everything is slightly different, which is very refreshing. Australian, maybe; Mexican, a bit; british,? and perhaps Norn Iron is in the mix too. I/we loved it, hope you do too.

We sat outside the cafe which was really pleasant, the people who work there are really helpful and the cafe has a nice atmosphere. However the food is not as good as the Newtownards Haptik.I had the refried beans on toast and to be honest I won’t be having it again, especially when they charge you £8 .The beans did not taste of anything from Mexico, they tasted like Asda sugar free beans.I think they need to seriously review the food offering for the high prices they charge,I think I will stick to the Newtownards branch.

Knowing and frequenting Haptik in Newtownards well, with their excellent service, and quality of food, the Belfast venue was underwhelming. Good ambience and cafe layout, but the food was well below Newtownards standards. Very 'Bob & Berts'! I hope it was an off-day with a stand-in chef due to Covid absences, so will go back and hope to report something better next time.

My wife and I dropped in here not knowing what to expect but we were VERY impressed! The atmosphere was great, the food selection was good and the pints kept coming!! What stood out the most was the friendly, informative service we received from our server, Dillon! Making our first trip to Belfast even better!

It’s been a while from I’ve been in the Chelsea. Treated my mum yesterday for Mother’s Day, service attentive and the food absolutely delicious. I am planning a few events over the next few months and will definitely recommend the Chelsea!

I think the place must have been bought over and kept the old name. The shop was very cold, no heating. The guy was very friendly but seemed a bit “lost”. We asked if we could have some tea and coffee with a bite, no problem he said. We asked for pancakes from the menu on the counter, but there were no pancakes. We asked for cake from the same menu that was advertised…. No cake. We received no alternatives. Then, we chose a muffin that was wrapped in plastic with the price on it but the guy in the counter went to the place we got it to check the price. As I said the price was already on the muffing itself. The tea and coffee was prepared using a kettle. The coffee was served in a small plastic cup but the tea in a medium one. We never got asked if we wanted a small or medium coffee. We paid £7.50 ( the scone was £1.50) Once we got the coffee and tea we were waiting for him to give us the scone……he forgot about it. We have to ask for it. The place was so cold that we decided to go back to the car and have it there. The guy was very friendly but very forgetful. It was hard to believe that he works there.
