Happy View Chinese Takeaway in Cheshire West and Chester

Not great, the "crispy Beef" was awful and went in the bin, nothing crispy about it! Will never order from here again, save you money and go elsewhere.

Was recommended to try this place. A huge disappointment indeed. Poor attitude, mistakes in order which were promised to be corrected and we're not. Frankly I feel I must warn others. It was a waste of money.

Amongst the best Chinese takeaways I’ve tried, very impressed.

Awful service got a duck dish with like 6 shredded piece and the rest was veggies for about 8 quid and called to complain only to be told that’s the dish, how on earth will I pay for onions and veggies when i know where the store is. That’s day light robbery!!!

We ordered food after a long day at work only to wait over an hour for it to be delivered, when we opened it an item was missing (Spring rolls) so we called up and told them the issue. Only to be responded by a woman who clearly needs an attitude change telling us we never ordered any and hung up abruptly. It’s all in black and white online.. Will never order from here again and to the person who answered the phone and gave my mrs a whole lot of attitude maybe get a different job because you clearly hate yours

this was my first time ordering from happy view, I ordered takeaway food, delivery was much earlier than I was expecting it arrived very hot, the food ordered was kung po , chicken in black bean sauce and chicken chow mien, all three dishes were very tasty , good ingredients and very well cooked, we have been looking for some time for a good Chinese takeaway and happy view has stood out as the best by far, I would highly recommend, please note dishes do not come with rice it has to be ordered as a separate dish, we were very impressed

Very disappointed. Ordered a large quantity of food for the work place and items were missing. After 3 phone calls attempting to get the missing food happy view were not helpful or willing to fitful the order. Daylight robbery.

Excellent choice of Vegan/vegetarian meals. Throughly enjoyed :-)

First time ordering from here... and WOW .. so nice. Piping hot. Got a set Chinese meal for one. But easily feeds 2 people.. amazing flavours in sweet n sour an bbq. Very fast delivery. Excellent value for money.. I think I've just found my new fave Chinese takeaway!!! Update. I git salt n pepper box and it was absolutely ramped. So much in there.. curry n sauce in there too. Got 2 massive plate fulls

I ordered online from the menu and also paid through the website. I got a call from Happy view to tell me they no longer do the dishes I wanted although the website let me place the order. They tried to get me to have something else, I declined and asked for a refund. Never got refund and tried to call meals online who do the payment and it was a Chinese speaking phone line. Please don’t place orders online it’s all very doggy. Won’t use Happy view again, started good a few years ago with Thai dishes but gone down hill.

Omg what a joke of a chippy i payed £3.50 for a large chips and i received 32 chips i asked if thats a large portion to be told YES

Poor quality food , ordered Chow Mein Special ..got vegetarian version...although there may have been some slivers of meat in there somewhere...overall a disappointing experience and waste of money...

Absolutely shocking ordered over the phone and was told prices witch were expensive but was okay and was told it would be ready in 5 mins then I went to go and pick up the order and was told to wait a further 5 mins then when we were going to pay we were wanting to pay by card as everywhere now takes card payment then we were told if to pay by card it would be an extra 50 p and because we wanted to pay separately it cost us 1 pound in total to use card and the food when we got home was awful and chips were disgusting to eat would not recommend!!

Ordered Singapore vermicelli asked for no BEANSPROUTS it came with none but….. came with nothing else just meat and dry noodles!! They were happy to send another but the second was just the same with a few onions and NO flavour absolutely diabolical! 1st and last time at this place for me

First time I have ordered from here and definitely won't be the last! The delivery was very quick considering I live in Chester and the food was fresh and hot too. Portion size was really worth the money. I'm impressed and will order again. Thank you for a delicious meal 👍

Absolutely love it!! The food is delicious and so flavourful, much better compared to the other Chinese places around here. The bubble tea is lush (I got the lychee one - OMG I was in love 😂). I live in Chester so the delivery was a little later than other restaurants but they apologised and threw in a few sides for free!! Absolutely outstanding customer service. I would happily order from here again :)

O.M.G just been served frozen chips from this chippy only consolation is there where not many of them . Absolutely not on , we know times are hard but not good .

Great portions , and so good they have vegan meat subs delivered hot and prompt , our go to for takeaway , as Elton you can't get many vegan options delivered . Lovely delivery drivers and lovely food , the vegan duck chowmein is superb and the hot and spicy tofu is soo good best salt and pepper chips too.

Awful chip shop! We asked for fried rice got boiled couple of teaspoons of curry and charged 9.00. Won't ever be going back

The food was great and the portion was super big!! I love their bubble tea too! It’s the best one I’ve had so far. Would definitely come back again

So disappointed. !. Meal was minute !!!!. Usually order from August 8 where meals are generously sized. Main meal didn't fill even half the tray. Ive never seen such a tiny chinese meal. Ever. Although sauce was delicious the meat came in a batter....so you expect a "little " less meat and more batter but it was literally NO meat....believe me we checked ! Just batter. Absolutely disgusted!. I only ordered from.them as had a voucher for an online food delivery service, and August 8 not on their site. But would definitely prefer to pay full price and get a proper sized meal.....with actual meat in it !!! Will never order from these again. August 8 every time !!! Seriously, don't waste your money.

The food is of a good quality and very tasty but could do with more sauce. The food seems quite expensive compared to other similar restaurants in the area.

Sweet and sour tasted like vinegar Forgot 2 items Crab soup was brown had no crab in it Fried rice came as boiled and they denied it and said the fried rice comes white All round terrible meal and service

Price incorrect overcharged. Missing items (curry sauce) Sweet and sour sauce not sufficient for chicken balls, far too small. Sweet and sour tasted and smelt rich with vinegar. Chicken Chow mein tasted burnt and lacked chicken. Service front of house was ok

Ordered food at 19.15, said was delayed... 21:00 Phoned at 21:15... oh sorry your food just cooking. Worst chippy I've ever had the misfortune to order from. Never again. Order at your own peril.

Over priced for small portions. Ordered curry, rice and chips. £4.50 for half full tray with minimal amount of sauce. Won't be going there again. No salt and vinegar either ...wasn't even asked!!

Depends what you buy from here chips are good chow main not so good I had chicken pineapple few weeks ago was lovely it's like a dog sign buy at your own risk ha

Disgusting service!!!!! Took nearly 2 hours to deliver and when we called, the rude pillock that answered said "it will get there when it gets there" and then hung up! Would think twice before using as we wont again!

The last two times we have ordered from Kam Xin have been delivered very late. No apology when I call, very rude and just said take it up with just eat. Not even a bag of prawn crackers to help apologise. Food was ok, quite bland really. Not happy, won't be ordering from there again!
