100% the best place for Chinese food! Lovely staff and delicious food, I have been going here since I was a child and still I haven’t found somewhere which has as good service. It’s definitely a must try.

Everything is greasy and slimy; both the noodles and watery meat were inedible. Avoid at all costs! 🤢 They don’t even deserve the one star I had to give in order to write a review! 🙄

After ordering and paying for a £35 meal through deliveroo, the order never arrived. I phoned the restaurant and they said they had delivered it. When I explained it had not, they said to contact deliveroo (despite using their own drivers). This take away is clearly not trust worthy and has appalling customer service, avoid at all costs!

Very friendly staff, definitely the best Chinese in Stockwood. Price is average compared to others. Been going here for over 10 years now.

Found food to be very bland. Curry sauce was very gloopy and had no taste. Have tried a few times with different meals and have not been impressed, portion sizes are good, bit when there's not much flavour to the meal it's a bit pointless. Much prefer to go a little further down the road to the Chinese shop on Sturminster Road.

Not best looking take away. Some improvements could be done to make it more attractive, but I have to admit that their food is really good. We live nearby and we often go there as the quality is quite good! Slightly more expensive than standard Chinese restaurants, but happy to pay little bit more if the final product is fresh and good quality. Cons: As all Chinese restaurants they don't take card payments.....

Phoned order through, collected on time and was all there ready with a complimentary bag of prawn cracker, The staff were very friendly and nice. The food was fantastic! We had a variety of food and all was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be ordering from there again!

The takeaway set meals for 2 and for 3 really can’t be beaten. Much more food than you can eat and so tasty. Good to have a takeaway like Happy Valley just around the corner. Friendly service and they never get an order wrong. I particularly like their beef in black bean sauce.

Although food is not always ready when you are told it will be ready, you don't mind waiting as the quality and amount of food you get is excellent.

Every time I try a take away from elsewhere I am hugely disappointed by how bland it is in comparison..Flavour turned up to 11 on everything they cook (so probably a decent amount of MSG in it, but who eats take away to be healthy?!)They understand that this is take away food, and thus thicken their sauces to counteract travel, so expect a level of necessary "gloop"A lot of other Chinese places try to cook restaurant Chinese food, which doesn't travel well and fail doing so anywayThey will do dishes not on the menu (try chili salt ribs and sweet and sour Hong Kong pork)Whilst you might find a "cleaner" take away fried rice elsewhere I dare anyone to find a place that cooks a more flavoursome one!When you want Cantonese restaurant cuisine go to the Mayflower in the bear pit (city centre). But when you want the best damn takeaway money can buy in Bristol and have it ready in less than 10 minutes every time (I guarantee it) this is your best bet!Ready in 5 minute yea?YES happy valley!

One of bristol's hidden little gems. Not on a main road and easily missed if you don't know the area. Best thing is follow your phone's GPS instructions using the post code. There English food is not very good at all unfortunately. Buy who goes to a Chinese take away for English food? No one. They make up for it with supreme Chinese dishes. All cooked fresh as you order. Best to phone ahead so your order is ready piping hot for you to collect from the friendly English speaking staff. Great place

I have used this Chinese for many, many years and even though I am not local to it any more I will travel to get a takeaway. Its such a shame it does not deliver . The food is always cooked to order so it is worth phoning through the order you want and then they will have it ready and waiting when you arrive. It doesn't look the best Chinese takeaway from outside but it is in its surrounding areas. It is good value for money and they always give us a free bottle of coke and prawn crackers . It is off the main road so can be missed by lots of people. This is the only place I will travel to get a Chinese.Delicious!
