Best fish and chips Ive had in ages - freshly cooked fish, lovely quality!

Always a good experience. Last night's Salt & Pepper sharebox was outstanding in taste, quantity and value for money. Would feed 4 easily.

I've been maybe 50 times. Reviewing because it's NOT 5 stars. Its ok! The prices aren't bad and the lunch specials are great value. (Lunch Salt n pepper chicken n chips pictured). But the Chinese mains are just alright and the fish has never been good. The chips vary from not bad to, yeah, alright. Prawn crackers r good though

Sweet and Sour Chicken and Fried Rice -------------------------------------------------------------- The sweet and sour chicken was very disappointing - there wasn't enough sauce, the chicken pieces were chewy and they didn't contain much chicken. The fried rice was OK. I feel badly let down by previous reviews. Plenty of room for improvement...

good food, great price, always a smile too

We have been visiting this chippy weekly for a few months and I think it's fantastic - great food at a reasonable price, good portion sizes and friendly service. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Sorry but this food was awful the salt and pepper prawns were horrible and the chilli chicken had the most horrible flavour and did not taste good I’m only not giving one star cos I feel bad but we spent 36£ and couldn’t eat it I have just seen your reply and yes it is the right place I wrote the review a few days after.

Perfectly decent Chinese chippy. Nothing OUTSTANDING but zero complaints. Perfect for chippy tea when you can't be arsed cooking.

Food had clearly been microwaved: was ready far too fast and was scolding hot until the last mouthful. Got mixed meat dishes and apart from the prawns, they were all like rubber. Bit of a shame really, was quite hopeful after reading the other reviews. The search lives on...

First time going to this Chinese chip shop and it won't be the last. Very clean inside and friendly staff. The food was delicious in fact I couldn't eat all the spare ribs because there was so many. Saved them for the day after. Will definitely be coming back.

Excellent food so far keep it up, so many places try to cut costs and quality drops. Ribs were A1, will keep trying dishes, best in area by far.

I had a stomach bug from Re fried chips.Was sick in the early hours of the morning.Avoid at all costs.Should be shut down.I worked in a cleaner chippy many years ago and Know that pathogens can spread from recooked chips.Disgusting.

Food is amazing and the lady who served me was more then helpful my little girl wanted salt and pepper chicken and she asked it to be made mild for her. Which by the way I’d highly recommend it’s absolutely lush. Chips as always lovely and can tell there cooked with pride. Over all I can’t wait to try other items off there menu

Best fish and chips and I've had in a long time. My grandchildren recommended this place to me when they wanted some chips so we went. I will definitely be back again, the staff are lovely and friendly, portion sizes are huge (maybe too big) and prices are around the average for the area. The shop is lovely and clean and we had service with a smile
