I order a takeaway from happy house. The curry was uneatable the chicken was like jelly for the cost of the curry it should be real chicken not possessed I had a taste and put it in the bin. It had no taste to the curry. If you don't mind chucking money in the bin keep ordering

I moved to Cannock a year ago and tried so many Chinese takeaways with disappointed results until someone recommended this place. It's absolutely faultless, fantastic, and great tasting food. Generous portion sizes, piping hot food in thick sauces. They offer delivery at a reasonable price. This is the best Chinese I've had in years. Absolutely Faultless.

26/06/24. Had a Spanish omelette and Singapore chow mien delivered a short while ago from here. The meal was truly horrible! Never had a chow mien that looked like a pile of spaghetti with very little added ingredients in it. Chips were cold and omelette not any better. Whole meal going in bin, what a waste of money!!!

Ordered a takeaway tonight, really looking forward to the crispy chilli beef - not a scrap of beef in sight! Will NEVER order again, waste of money.

Sauce in curry quite watery otherwise was nice.

Waited for over 2 hours for food and nothing came. Luckily manage to cancel through just eat. Definitely not a happy house here. Don’t waste your time👎🏻

OK so Saturday night order, knew it would be some time. Ordered 8:25pm, time slot 9:30-10:00pm Fine with that. Called 10pm, asked for update, said its with driver be there shortly. We live 10 minutes away MAX. Called again at 10:20pm "Oh sorry its just gone with driver now" OK fine. Food arrived at 10:50pm!!! 2 and a half hours after order No good will gesture, not even an apology! Furios that they didn't even acknowledge how late or poor the service was.

Ordered food at 20:25, call the restaurant several times for updates (calls were constantly user busy so I had to keep trying and trying) staff just apologised. Called restaurant at 22:00, they advised that food was ready they were just waiting for the delivery driver. I had a party therefore ordered food for the guests, we waited, waited and waited for it to come but it was so late that guest decided to leave. I called the resultant for 20:30 they advised food is on its way. I called again at 20:45 that food has not come yet, they again apologised. I advised them that guest have gone and I will end up with all the food. I am really disappointed with the customer service and delivery and they couldn’t cancel the order on their end nor could I on my end. There was no good will gesture from the restaurant but just an apology. I advised them that I was unhappy and service was below par and will leave a review. I would not ever recommend Happy House to anyone, it ruined my party and left guest fuming which was embarrassing and put in a situation purely due to Happy House.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE 🤢🤢 in complete shock with how bad it was, the Singapore chow mein wasn’t like the usual takeaway style it was literally like a stir fry you make at home it was orange wet long noodles in a orange sauce like spaghetti out of a tin with a horrible taste never seen a chow mein like it the chips were full of salt everything was enedible I have no words please do not waste your money don’t know how people are saying it’s the best Chinese they’ve had please don’t listen I wish I didn’t !

Stay away from this Chinese, never in my life have i had a Chinese so bad. Ordered Singapore chow mein and what turned up was not Singapore it was basically a orange looking stirfry with a horrible after taste and hardly any meat egg fried rice didnt have egg in it can someone explain that? Portions are ridiculously small for the price you have to pay £22 has basically just gone in the bin, will never be using these again Happy house more like miserable horrible looking disgusting food charge a bomb for a basically 1£ stirfry i could of threw together myself in my kitchen Sort yourselfs out taking peoples hard earned money for low quality food

Amazing take away lovely food aways delivered piping hot, great rice's and fast delivery.

Duck was over cooked and dry, spring rolls were cold and the sweet and sour sauce tasted of pure vinegar. Didn’t enjoy it at all.

Best Chinese we have ever had. Won't go anywhere else now. Service is brilliant and delivery driver excellent manners very friendly.

Food was pretty good. Bit of a wait, but that was on a weekend for a sizeable order. No parking, really!

My family came up to visit and we tried Happy House for the first time. Thank you for providing lovely food and you're also so nice and friendly. We were so happy with all the dishes... and love that you do tofu!! Amazing. I recommend :)

I travelled up from Wales to visit some family and we ordered a some food from here everything was spot on and really tasty I have a really bad allergy and that wasn't an issue they prepared fresh vegetables especially for my meals will definitely order from here again when I visit family next

We enjoy the food and customer service is very good BUT there has been something missing from the last 4 orders - fried rice, BBQ sauce, chips and tonight it was a bottle of pop!! Small things but we have still paid for them. Seriously thinking of trying somewhere else which is a shame

Very disappointed again. Vowed never to use them again after very slow delivery last time but tried again Saturday evening. We were told one house for delivery but it was very nearly two hours. Food not up to standard, chips cold and soggy. Time to move one.

Worst Chinese takeaway food iv tried in a long time! Chicken curry has that fake rubber chicken in & it's disgusting! Chips taste of old grease/fat & are dry, chicken fried rice is tastless & greasy! Do not recommend at all! Rubbish & waste of money!

We like chips with every order but they are not fully cooked.. Always Hard.. Every time. Please cook your hips thoroughly please.

The service in this place is terrible, they won’t accept card, they will only accept cash! Next we were asked to pay via card on the website, they didn’t know how this worked, the service and communication was terrible!! Needless to say we didn’t pay, cancelled the order and went elsewhere! It’s a real shame as living a few doors down and there is no way I’d return to order from this shambles. A child no older than 10’was in there, clearly with a member of staff drawing on a receipt and my only thought was of sorrow spending evening in this establishment.

Says the food will be ready in an hour, but takes double the time? I understand weekends are busy but a courtesy call would be appreciated considering we were told a certain time. And the worst thing it is ALL THE TIME! I never look forward to buying from this place but my fiancée loves how well the food is cooked.My fiancée is 8 months pregnant and you can imagine how upset she is today. Not impressed.

Shockingly bad food. Part of my order was sweet & sour chicken balls & the sauce to it was off, it was stinking like the bottom off a wheelie bin. Tried to ring to complain but they was closed. Fuming! Wont be ordering again. Will be telling people to divert from this place.

not very good service tonight ordered a takeaway at 10 mins past six still wasnt here at 8 o'clock. so cancelled it after being told at 7 30 it would be with us in 10 mins.

Ordered food at 6:30pm 1 hour later delivered cold food not happy at all. Rang to complain Sarah was lovely and reordered our food. Took another 1 hour to be delivered and James the owner tried to blame Sarah for his incompetence his attitude was disgusting. 19/8/20 I thought I would give this place the benefit of the doubt and ordered Beef/Mushroom curry with chips. Beef pure fat and gristle five tiny mushrooms raw onions cold sauce and cold chips.Rang back for a refund and was told James the owner wasnt in the shop and to ring back in half hour of which I did and again was told owner wasnt in the shop and could not refund me without his permission but could replace for more food. Not a bloody chance. I should have learnt from the last time never again.

Whilst the portions are great and delivery is always on time, the food is tasty BUT staff do not read the comments if you order online via Big Foodie or Just Eat. EVERY single time I order I put NO CHILLI in capital letters in the comments and yep! You guessed it.. it ALWAYS comes with chilli... I’ve given up now, so unless you like it as it comes don’t bother! ...

Shocking! Takes ages to come, they lie to you on the phone, save yourself the hassle and order from someone else unless you want to wait 2hrs for your food!

Friendly staff , was open on a sunday night food was fine

Extremely disappointed with our takeaway last night , food came and was barely warm and chips were extremely greasy. Then to make matters worse some of our order was missing , we rang and was told it would be sent straight out . Over an hour later it arrived -again barely warm and too late as we had already eaten and kids who were meant to be having it had gone to bed !

Lovely food from here again, definitely recommended. Me and my fiance loved it thank you so much!

Food is generally very good, always fresh,hot and tasty. Delivery can sometimes be much slower than estimated at busy times.

First time I've ordered from hear and can I just say amazing food absolutely loved it as did my famliy thank you so much compliments to the chef and lovely lady who took my call was very welcoming and we'll manourd and fast delivery so thank you recommend to anyone

Food was good however very disappointed as sending a fork was agreed as I did not want to eat from my friends dusty spoons used for feeding cats, I had to eat with my bare hands and a dirty shovel

First time in ordering from here, found it to be nice food, not too hot on arrival but eatable without warming up. Only thing didn't know they put mushrooms in curry, ordered chicken curry, had to be thrown, I'm allergic to mushrooms. Wasted £6 so not happy, doesn't say on menu with mushrooms. Would order again but make sure they know no mushrooms. Thanks

Neva again terrible special house curry was like water they put rice plastic containers and makes it sweat stick together and pancake roll had nothing in it apart from bean sprouts waste of money

Absolute shocker first and last time using this place order went in at 8 PM delivery for 9pm still nothing by 9 30 PM apparently it was on the car for delivery how can a delivery 1/2 a mile away take this long best of look to you

Love the happy house! Best Chinese food around, jay is always so happy and welcoming and nothing is ever too much for him. I’ve not got one bad word to say against the food or custom.

Placed an order through bigfoodie website for collection. Was first time visiting this Chinese and will definitely visit again. The portions were very generous, and food was fresh and very hot. Chatted to some of the staff whom very friendly also.

Preordered at 5.00 pm for a 7.00pm delivery, husband rang at 7.30 to see where it was to hear another member of staff say in the background it wasn't ready. Rang up again 10 mins later to be spoken to like rubbish from the woman in there and have the phone put down on me. Have always rated this restaurant highly but shan't be using it again. Food arrived 45 mins late, no courtesy call to explain why and atrocious customer service..returned food out of principle..
