Happy Home Chinese Takeaway in North Tyneside

I've just had takeaway from here, it was absolutely delicious. Cantonese Chicken and King Prawn, so lovely, the batter was light and sauce really tasty. As was the crabmeat soup. Honestly was like sitting in food heaven. Friendly delivery too. Top notch.

As always food arrived earlier and piping hot, bonus. Food absolutely outstanding as usual, amazing taste, great portion sizes and plenty of meat. Will be ordering again real soon !!😀😀Thanks.

By far the best Chinese takeaway in the area. Never had an issue with the food or delivery. All the dishes we’ve ordered have been delicious and piping hot upon arrival. Cannot recommend Happy Home enough!

waited over 2 hours for delivery. food was stone cold. The one bit of chicken tried to bite into actually couldn't even tear with teeth. absolutely shocking will never use again all went into bin

Usually adore this restaurant but today I dont know what happened. The food was very late, and in fact was showing as delivered for almost 20 minutes before the food actually arrived. Called the restaurant and had no answer, and when the food did come, the Char Sui pork was so tough I could not bite through it, cut through it or tear it with my hands and had to eventually be discarded. Very disappointing.

First time ordering from here, really good. They rang to clarify about our order as we'd ordered vegan stuff so they wanted to know if we wanted no egg in the fried rice. Driver forgot to give us the cans we ordered, he came back to drop them off without us even ringing to say they'd been forgotten. Big portions and the salt&chilli vegan chicken is amazing. Crispy chicken wings were a soggy mess instead, which was a. The Singapore noodles were over cooked and mushy, and tasted of powdery turmeric instead of curry. Definitely not worth £9.50 for the noodles. Not a feast, but an expensive disappointment.

Arrived very quickly to our surprise. Knew why when we opened it! Absolutely horrific food, chicken balls and most chips were undercooked and inedible and the rice was mush. Will not be ordering again!

Cold when came and got satay sauce instead of curry sauce! Rang up to be told the driver can drop some curry off but could be very late. Whole meal ruined, never again

Preordered at 5.20pm for delivery at 7.15pm. Food eventually arrived stone cold at 9.15pm after having to ring the restaurant 4 times to find out what was going on as the JustEat website reckoned my food had already been delivered and there was no live update. A takeaway is a rare treat these days and this was just money wasted I’m so annoyed.

Beef was badly over cooked, both the Chicken and Duck were just chunks thrown into the relevant dish and there wasn't much of either. Overall the meal was dreadful and a waste of money. They won't be seeing me or my money again
