Muy decepcionado en esta ocasión. Llevo pidiendo desde aquí unos años pero no lo volveré a hacer. Hice un pedido anoche para la entrega. Después de más de una hora no había llegado así que los llamé para explorar. Ni siquiera habían empezado a cocinarlo. Aprecio que las empresas puedan estar ocupadas a veces, pero este retraso no era razonable y tampoco se nos comunicó nada para informar, o incluso avisar, del retraso en el pedido inicial. Muy mal servicio al cliente. Yo no diría que lo evite, pero yo diría que obtenga alguna seguridad de la expectativa de tiempo de entrega antes de comenzar a esperar una comida inminente!

I placed a large order for collection for my wife's birthday this week. The lady at reception was very helpful over the phone - checking ingredients etc. - and the food was ready on time and with a smile! All dishes were tasty and well cooked. I will definitely be back.

We have used Happy Gathering now for sometime and their food is great, fresh products in the food. We have tried many Chinese Takeway's but always disappointed as they have this claggy after taste. Always return to Happy Gathering. They are excellent. Keep up the good work.

Used this takeaway for many years, without a problem, just ordered the munch box, the rice and noodles were ok but the chicken, chips ribs and samosas all tasted like they had been reheated very dry and a waste of money even the free prawn crackers were stale. We are very disappointed and will not use them again and certainly won’t recommend like we used to

Great food Lovely special Satay > Chicken Balls great > Best chips golden delicious . Wish the curry was more spicy and hotter .

Have been getting my takeaway from here many years and rarely had a bad order.Delivery is fast and drivers for the main are courteous and have a bit of a laugh.

Enjoyed a meal in our room in our hotel due to all restaurants being busy Monday to Wednesday . Had the meal for two and enjoyed the whole meal the beef and mushroom was lovely and the sweet and sour Hong Kong style was yummy .

As with most Chinese takeaways, there is plenty to choose from and the prices are very reasonable. Their delivery service is very efficient and the food is superb.

Due to covid a lot of my regular takeaways are closed, heard good reports about this place....... Now my 1st choice takeaway, very quick service and food tasty and piping hot.

Happy Gathering Chinese takeaway in Norbreck, Blackpool. Delivery service was efficient, however, the order was incomplete. We ordered to special starter and they forgot the sweet chilli sauce. We also ordered a Singapore Fried rice which is a HOT version of Yung Chow. No heat (Spice) in the rice, and it was cold. We only live 1/2 a mile away, so how has it gone cold?

New owners? Always been top notch but lately very bad. Less portions less taste will not be going back sadly.

Just been to this Chinese I ordered a munchy box, everything was black because it was all deep fried chicken was rock solid a waste of 20 quid. Never again

We regularly use this take away & order the same food . Tonight they turn up with a chicken dish on a vegatarian option ..... we called the take away to advise what has happened , no apology or anything , have to wait another 15 minutes for food to arrive when everybody else has eaten there’s , not good enough , especially when we are regulars , think we need to look for a different take away

This is a local Chinese for us.Over the last few years we have noticed the quality go from exceptional to abysmal, then back again. At the moment they're on an "up" !I guess they change their chefs often.Overall I suppose they've been OK, but I don't rely on them.

First off my order was wrong..They gave us the wrong one so took it back and got it replaced.Went Home and guess what .Gave us wrong ribs and other meal was as bland as possible.Steer clear of this place it’s awe full!!

For the 3rd week running this take away has managed to get our simple order wrong. For 5 years we have requested the same thing with no issues. Told them last week that they are not delivering what's been ordered. Sorry but again tonight wrong order and completely different bill delivered. Not again for us........

This family run traditional Chinese takeaway is well known and has a local loyal following. The menu is extensive and very good value. The restaurant serves Cantonese based favorites as well as British food in response to the patron's of the nearby Norbreck Castle. Telephone orders are ready for collection.Reccomended.

Salt and chilli ribs - the 2 largest looked and tasted like they had been reheated more than once. King Prawn chow mein - I thought this dish was based on beansprouts but I only had about 20 small offerings. Various tasteless veg and a quarter inch of water swimming around at the bottom of the container. Prices have recently rocketed and I think the portions are smaller than last time I ordered. Never again.

Muy mal servicio y comida, nunca he oído de un húmedo o seco chow mein antes, ya que normalmente sólo viene con al menos una base de salsa de soja, basado en otras chino que he tenido en diferentes partes del Reino Unido.

Spend just under £50 and it was horrible never would I order from here again. Everything was bland no flavour the nicest think I had was the prawns n chips

Ordered from here quite a few time over the last 3 times items have been missing or not correct order sent the latest order which I made a couple of weeks ago was cancelled buy my self after waiting 1 hour after being told it would be delivered in 45 mins rang them after 1 hour only to be told it would be another 20 minutes by a very roude young girl on the other end of the phone who replied what do you want us to do about it will not be ordering from there again.

Usamos este lugar. . . . . . . . . . . . Nunca más! ! ! Pedir comida, me dijeron que no iba a ser poco más de £20, marido fui a recoger y la señora dijo que era 29 libras! ! ! Vuelve a casa y marido pagamos. La orden era que faltaba un elemento y cuando llamamos tardaron casi 6 minutos para ofrecer el elemento faltante. . . . . demasiado tarde mis hijos habían terminado en el momento en que llegamos. ! ! Tienen un nuevo chef y (en realidad creo que quizás vende) la comida era horrible, la mía y de mi esposo terminó en la papelera. . . . . . . . . . . . . Nosotros hemos perdido. como clientes

Pensamos que lo este lugar otra ir tras la última vez pedir sal y pimienta fichas literalmente tienen sal y pimienta de patatas fritas al horno. Podría haberlo hecho yo. Esta noche pedimos 2 curry de pollo y ambas eran muy sosa y horrible. Probado como si hubieran sido recalentados aproximadamente 6 veces, o tenían sirvieron pollo con natillas. Sentimos como ponerle sal, pero no pensamos entonces por qué deberíamos, así que llamó para conseguir reemplazos y por supuesto arroz, ya que la nuestra habría sido fría obviamente por el tiempo que y llegaron sin ningún extra de arroz. El hombre sostuvo en la puerta y era bastante desagradable. Nos llamó una vez más y la mujer en el teléfono no estaba interesado en nosotros ayudando en todo aunque era el fallo restaurantes nos sirvieron comida horrible. Otros miembros de la familia tenía el suyo terminado por el tiempo que el restaurante dieron su acto juntos, así que tuvimos que comer curry con sabor recientemente con arroz frío. Que pedimos desde aquí por lo menos dos veces al mes durante años como vivimos sólo por la carretera, pero puedo garantizar que no será pedir de nuevo.

Really enjoyed the takeaway Chow Mein we had. We weren't getting evening meals at Norbreck Castle Hotel and this was a great alternative to bring back to room. Just in the road behind the hotel. Good value.

Went here after checking TA. , abs seeing good reviews staying at the norbreck :( ... but Lovley meal from this takeaway I would recommend it

Like many other people we've tried lots of Chinese take aways but this one never let's us down. Have used them now for 3 years and never had a complaint! Fantastic.

We have had many takeaways from happy gathering it is aways excellent. There is always plenty of food and there is plenty of choice on the menu. We have 2 fussy eaters but even they can find something to eat

I was never a fan off Chinese food until a group of friends ordered from here one night and I loved it! When ever I want to treat myself I will get a Chinese from here as they are by far the best, delivery could be quicker but it's the same as everywhere else, I just get impatient waiting to eat and it's cheap as well so can't fault it

staff and friendly and they deliver on time. they even give you what you want. i ordered sweet and sour chicken but only wanted the sauce and they brought me what i asked for. the last place i went to ignored my request for no veg. the meals are tasty and well priced to

my recent visit to this take away I was served with what was supposed to be chicken chop suey only to find there was 4 small pieces of chicken no bean sprouts no bamboo shoots very few water chestnuts all the usual ingredients for chop suey What there was ingredient wise was plenty of thin gravy bit of cabbage, peas, 1 mushroom cut into 4 a bit of shredded carrot What an absolute waste of money will not go there again

It's my preferred local chinese take away and has been for many years, always good food, service and promt delivery.

We live nearby and use this as our local takeaway. If I'm being honest I don't particularly like Chinese food! This take away is probably one of the best I've used though even my young rather picky children love it! Brilliant.

Great little Chinese takeaway tucked away at the back of Norbreck castle, sometimes takes a while but then it's hot and fresh everytime, staff are always happy to serve, even the delivery guys nice, got to be a down side I here you say, nope it's even cheap, give it a go, great food.
