Was visiting London a few weeks ago with family. Really fancied a stone baked pizza. Stumbled across this place. Excellent pizza, I had the truffle one. I can't eat a whole pizza so they gave me a box to takeaway. I was travelling home that day. Put my pizza in my freezer., once I got home. Two and a half weeks later I put in my airfryer... was as delicious as when I bought it. X nicest pizza I've had .. Staff were very nice and attentive. Highly recommend .

I was willing this place to be more than just style (it is very stylish, the music needs to be turned down two notches and is way too bass heavy), but the main component - the substance of the food - just wasn't there at all. Ended up here somewhat by default, Dishoom had a queue a mile long, Lina Stores a bit too pricey and Arabica indicated a 45 mins wait for a table for one. I was seated at the bar straight away by a silver haired fox who looked like he'd been working in hospitality since Gordon Ramsey was in short trousers. Quick order: arancini, montepulciano, Melanzane Parmigiana. Arancini arrived first: small portion for the price and really just lacking in flavour. Probably been in the fryer a bit too long. The flavour thing is the bit which is hardest to grasp. Montepulciano served, fine really (but just fine) the tail end of the bottle and it's probably just at the passable end of its useful life since opening. The Melanzane Parmigiana arrives, and bits of it are burnt (not a little, but a lot) but they have the giant brick fired oven and the temperature is really difficult to regulate. I eat this because I'm really hungry but the taste again is really lacking in substance and depth and the charred aubergine pieces taint the rest of the dish with a flavour of burnt food. I feed this back to the silver fox explaining it effected the taste of the rest of the dish and we both agree the giant ovens are hard to work with. Working assumption: fox is going to tweak the bill accordingly. This didn't happen. Still hungry I order the Burratina dish, it arrives pretty quickly - there's no excitement particularly, it tasted great but it's hard to get such a simple dish wrong as it's just a ball of cheese with tiny segments of tomato. In a very British mode of operation I've asked for the bill, it arrives and no discounts have been applied for the dish that was burnt. I pay it because I'm too tired to quibble and silver fox and the Brasilian lady behind the bar were pretty lovely and affable. £38 and change for really underwhelming burnt food feels like a lot, even for London. You'll look good dining here, high end Instagram stuff, but if you're interested in being really impressed by the quality and quantity of food go elsewhere. Staff are on top of their game, although silver fox really should've realised knocking the Melanzane off my bill was the right move. Food is spirit crushingly average.

Went here early evening before heading off to the Lightroom , great Pizza and really friendly staff, food was served really quickly.

We were due to meet friends in the Supermax bar which is under the pizzeria so decided to eat here first. Pizza was excellent - light chewy crust, not too much cheese, just the right amount of tomatoes sauce. Service was attentive, drinks, well priced. Personally not crazy about the decor but can see the appeal. I’d recommend the odd sounding but utterly delicious white-base pizza Sebastiano, which has artichoke, anchovy, olives, mozzarella, parsley and lemon.

On the restaurant in general I’d describe it as child tolerant rather than child friendly; we were given a table smaller than requested /needed then repeatedly asked to shuffle to accommodate other groups. And it’s the first time I’ve seen what appeared to be a highlighter given for kids colouring in. On the food the kids menu was poorer nutritional value and higher price than others and for the adults the main after taste I was left with was oil. All in all a bit disappointed.

Amazing pizza in a beautiful restaurant. Friendly staff, nice vibe. Short but nice walk from Kings Cross station, and well worth a visit. Highly recommend!

Went with a few colleagues after work and have to say that we had a great time. The food was fantastic, the staff were lovely, the restaurant had a lovely feel to it, and we overall had a very pleasant night. The restaurant itself is in the stunning Kings Cross, and everything is really well priced. I’ll definitely be returning!

Arrived to a busy restaurant, staff very efficient , served promptly as I was on my lunch break , pizza margarita was delicious.. 25 % off pizza in January was very much appreciated too ..Also Dog Friendly which is super..had a lovely well behaved black lab sat on my foot .

Discovered Happy Face by accident. Glad we did, really tasty food. Loved the bruschetta and the Zucchine Fritti. Kids really enjoyed their pizzas. We'll definitely be going back.

Absolutely fantastic pizza. Some interesting menu options, but with the classics covered too. They seem to have taken real care to get the base just right. Sometimes I leave the crust - not here! Every crumb. Best pizza I have had in a very long time. And good value too, with friendly energetic staff. I dont write reviews on trip advisor often, but this is really worth a visit.

Authentic and delicious Neapolitan pizza in the middle of London...I have tried a lot of the good ones in town; L'Antica, Di Michele, Crisp to name a few.. Happy Face holds it's own with the competition and as it got later the lights got dimmer and the music got louder...cool spot.
