Franco Manca in Camden

Ate here last week and food was excellent. Consistency in the quality of the food and cooking across all of the restaurants is always there. Caleb was our waiter and was fantastic - super attentive, friendly and engaging which made our visit fun! Thanks Caleb!

I recently dined at Franco Manca and was disappointed with both the food and service. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. Service was slow throughout the evening; our drinks took an unusually long time to arrive, and the starter, bruschetta, was served well after the main courses. The bruschetta itself was underwhelming, featuring stale looking bread and a sparse topping of peppers, which I ultimately declined to pay for. As for the pizza, the dough seemed undercooked and lacked the expected quality. Given these issues, I left dissatisfied.

One of my favourite pizza restaurants. It’s delightful. Even some of the other branches are good. The staff members are welcoming and prompt.

We visited this restaurant on a Wednesday night as a group of ten, parents with kids from 9 to 15. The waiters were poor - ages to take our order and doing that thing of deliberately avoiding catching your eye; messing up the orders when they did come; and not taking food away between courses. They clearly thought they were quite cool but in fact they were just not very good at their jobs. The food was absolutely fine pizza grub.

Great Pizza. Average chicken salad Bad service. Taking a long time to just take your order and prepare the table. I had an excellent experience in the Edinburgh branch but here in London is bad

It's not bad, I guess it's ok... the problem is I've been to Rudy's... now that is a class act.

Got really surprised by this place. The interior was not that appealing, but the food and nice service made me return a second time. I do recommend trying their specials, it was top!

Heaven tastes like Truffle Pizza ❤️ they did their best to receive and serve us (group of 5) even in a full place and with no previous reservation. For London prices it is not expensive at all, especially considering the food quality!

The best experience ever in a Franco Manca restaurant! 🍕👨‍👩‍👧‍👦❤️ My family and I are frequent customers, but today the Manager Roberto at the Tottenham Court Road branch made my daughter's day! He let her prepare her own pizza and she was over the moon! He was so kind and attentive to our needs, and he made my daughter so happy. I was very surprised that i had never eaten at Franco Manca, especially as so many people had recommended it to me. The pizza was absolutely delightful and the service was flawless . A young man named Dima provided us with a 5 star experience that made me feel more than inclined to leave him a tip and write a review he was funny , friendly and carried his job with pride. The food was AMAZING we went in as a walk in and luckily was seated immediately! I wasn’t familiar with the new seasonal menu and asked a really nice staff to help me understand more about the pizzas. He was really patient and helpful. I think his name was Deema?

We came here for a nice meal and had some worries about allergies but one of the managers Dima was really friendly and lovely and made sure we were were comfortable and had everything we needed! The food was lovely and would love to visit again soon! Excellent service!

Great service at lunch today. Ordered 10 pizzas to takeaway without prior notice. Waited far less than anticipated, staff really helpful and friendly. Thank you for making me smile on a tricky day!

Waited for over 15 minutes to be seated and and for my order to be taken in a practically empty restaurant. I then waited a further 35 minutes as I still hasn’t received my pizza. When I asked and was then told there was a mix up with the order and the pizza was just being made. Nothing but a sorry. Had to pay bf or my Diet Coke, not even offered it complimentary. Shocking service from the manager and team.

waited over 20 minutes to take an order for drinks. which took another 20 minutes to come. took our order for food and waited another 40 minutes to get it.....these are pizzas how long should it take. would not go again...

Incredible service and generosity from the team at Franca Manca Tottenham Court Road. We held a graduation for the people we support who are experiencing homelessness. They enjoyed their pizzas, some of whom had never had it before. Great experience dealing with the manager, super efficient and seamless service

I walked in on a Monday evening. The place was empty and I wasn't surprised as it was the beginning of the week. I was starving and I ordered their garlic bread with a tomato sauce base (without cheese), chicken bites and their Franco's Favourite pizza. The garlic bread was not the best I've had. U may pass on it, if U wish to or get it with cheese. The chicken bites was amazing, however the portion for the price was a wee bit disappointing. The pizza was sensational. If U are a beef on pizza lover, it's a must get option. The overall ambience was good and the waiter was patient and kind. Great job guys ! Thanks for having me. I was happily full, the reason being which I didn't go for dessert. Do remember there is an optional 10% service charge which will be added to your bill.

A regrettable thumbs down. In its hay day Franco Manca was one of the best pizzerie in London. These days the quality isn't near as good as before. This location is particularly poor, perhaps due to the touristy and transient nature of the area. Although I ordered extra tomato, what I was presented with was a dry, scarcely topped base more reminiscent of plain "pizza bread" (which is just not a thing in Italy). I've never had to send a pizza back before in my life and felt awful about it, but the one I was brought just wasn't a pizza. The pizza chef (who wasn't Italian) came to talk to me about it and I was made a fresh one that was admittedly much better - by which time my partner had finished her meal. The main reason that brought me back for another visit (as opposed to going to nearby Pizza Pilgrim, for example) was their generous loyalty program which awards a free pizza every 6 purchased. Unfortunately both times the code I was given wasn't recognised by the app. I was told to try later as it doesn't work immediately but still had no luck. When I returned with the receipt to ask if they could help I was told it was now too late as it has to be done before the till closes on the day it was issued. For these reasons I won't be back

Had to walk to till to ask them to take the order and same when paying the bill. There were two staff members one european(very grumpy) and one asian(much more pleasant). Also the pizza was not the usual quality. Hope this is just a branch issue.

Brought us the wrong pizza but because we were in a hurry we ate it, didn't bring our salad, then brought us the pizza we ordered, too late, we'd eaten the first one. When we came to pay he wanted to charge us for the salad, when we told him we didn't get it he tried to charge us for two. Not very impressed 😐

Waited outside alongside another group for 15 minutes for a table after being advised it would be 2 minutes. Place was completely empty. Don’t know what the staff were doing. So we just left. Shame as generally food is good but service today was a joke.

Reasonably priced pizza, own brand lager, all of which were good. Service was slower than other branches despite there not being many people in at the time.

Went today at 3pm, was shown a table and then ignored for about 10mins. The waiter came over, ignored me and picked up the other menu from the table before walking away. Disappointing level of service from a chain who usually delivers better customer focus. Needless to say happy to take my business elsewhere.

The pizzas were just OK. They looked like they had been made by someone who didn't enjoy making pizza - ingredients just tossed on with no sign of craft or passion. A shame, because I expect better of Franco Manca. Service was great, but I would not return to this branch.

I did like my meal but do think I picked the wrong pizza as of course it was quite salty with the anchovies! I'd definitely go back and try another. The prices are fair. I had a mocktail and it was nice. The wine was served in a chunky glass, perhaps because we were outside, but that was a bit strange.

Was there on Sunday and they said they don't serve salads on the menu at all. Says it all about the place.

We came here to eat pizza better than many other pizzerias but they still have to grow a lot to reach the level of the best Italian pizzerias.. to try..

I normally love the pizzas here however had a bizarre experience I ordered my pizza arrived in 5 minutes The dough was thick similar to pizza hut the tomato sauce tasted very bitte wont be visiting this chain again

It's the worst branch in central London . I request everyone not to go in this branch , they usually take a lot of time to prepare the order, everytime they waited me for more than 45 minutes. I can't give 0 stars because there's no option for that.

The pizzas are good but the service disappointing. The waitress asked us to calculate the bill for her. No thank you or goodbye. The service therefore did not live up to our expectations.

We have eaten here a number of times (it is one of my daughter's favourites), always very good fresh pizza delivered quickly together with excellent service.

Having visited many Franco Manco restaurants and enjoyed the food and atmosphere, this particular branch is the worst I have visited. No greeting to take us to a table, our order wasn't taken for around 15 mins despite the restaurant being nearly empty inside, other patrons did arrive and were subsequently served their food before us, despite us actually ordering before them. According to the waiter he had forgotten to give the chef the order! Pizzas were left on the side getting cold whilst they tried to find out who had ordered them. (they weren't ours subsequently) staff seemed to be wandering about disinterested in the job or the customers. When I went to the restroom staff were arguing in the office. Just a poor experience all round and would necer return to this branch.

Food was okay, pizzas are not super flavorful but they have good texture. Service was awful. After we got our food, our server never came back despite waving at her to come over. We waited over an hour to have any interaction. Atmosphere is great however.

We had reservations. Simple, quick, efficient, very good value for money, the pizzas are made in front of you, open kitchen, wood-fired cooking It was good. Friendly service, I recommend.

The pizza was the classic Neapolitan. Quite good but the sits are a little bit uncomfortable. No chairs only stools so you have to eat with your jacket on if you don’t want to leave them on the floor.

Delicious pizza, typical Italian dishes, and given the high prices of restaurants in London, this chain of pizzerias without a doubt has excellent quality-price ratio.

Visited fenaco manca today and the service was excellent Donika was not only professional but ensured we had a great experience altogether. She was attentive, polite and made sure we are comfortable. Will visit again.

Pizza is so great !!! Tastes so good and is made it the furnace. Definitely my top 3 pizza places in London. The servers are so wonderful and nice too.

The pizzas are super delicious. I had a gluten-free one, the pizza base is 100% gluten-free but it may be contaminated. But had no complaints. My husband had a normal, a sourdough pizza (standard crust). Never had pizza so good.

First time visiting a Franco Manca's but definitely won't be the last . Food was excellent, best pizza since we were in Sorrento. Affogato was superb. Great value and friendly staff.👍

Franco Manca on Tottenham Court Road unquestionably deserves 5 stars. The experience was excellent, thanks to impeccable service and top-notch customer service. Special kudos to Chiara, our friendly server, who made our meal even more enjoyable. The welcoming and always-smiling staff contributed to creating a positive and inviting atmosphere. Definitely a place worth recommending.

That starters where really nice epically thr bread. The pizza was OK but I didn't like lots of sauce on the pizza. The service was top notch though and the waiters were super helpful and quick. The atmosphere felt a little school dinner just because all drinks including wine were served in short glassess and the way the tables are set out.

Pizza number 8 super yummy and full of flavour, very cheap for the quality and the anount of toppins in the pizza. Nice service even tho It was super busy. You must hire more people and take care of your staff. There was only 2 waitress for a restaurant full of people. At the end of the day this Girls must end Up exhausted and full of stress because its too much tension.

This TCR Franco Manca was very nice, we had a lovely waitress who was helpful and the food was delicious! We also used the UNIDAYS discount which is great for students.

Great tasting pizzas but only 2 waiting staff so service was very slow. Such a shame as this is our favourite pizza restaurant. The Franco Manca app has not worked properly all year and that has been in 4 or 5 different Franco Manca restaurants.

My family and I have been here Friday evening. I highly raccommend this restaurant, everything was perfect. The service was fantastic and very quick and all the staff was really nice with us. Special thanks to chef Carlos, who, with his great expirience, was able to give us amazing emotions of eating a real Italian Pizza in London. Everything was delicios. Will be back for sure.

My pizza had a very burnt taste, the bottom was actually black and the person I was with had an intolerance, which she mentioned tonthe server. But still gave her the wrong pizza. I would say very dangerous if you had an allergy coming here.

Sadly the pizzas where soggy as they were not cooked fully, sadly your staff were too busy to attend to us, and we had to return to work- very disappointing

Outstanding sourgough pizza. Although you may find toppings you will never see on a pizza in Italy, this is clearly to meet the local demand. Beside this, the classic pizza is very good and to some extend better than those you may end up eating in certain places in Italy.

Bonne qualité des plats servis. Mais le service est médiocre. Ce soir-là il n'y avait plus de salades. Premier contact avec un serveur qui nous dit qu'il est quand même possible d'avoir un plat de légumes. Puis vient une autre serveuse, plutôt pressée et pas agréable qui nous dit le contraire... Du coup, nous commandons pizzas et bruschettas (très bons). Puis le tiramisu fait maison (excellent). A la fin du repas, la serveuse nous propose gentiment des digestifs Limoncello sans que nous en fassions la demande (nous pensons donc qu'ils sont offerts par la maison). Pour nous apercevoir qu'ils ont été finalement comptés dans la note...

Could give it a zero if I had too I went inside for lunch yesterday afternoon a group of uni students pushed in front of me to get a table and they get helped before me 😡 and secondly I only ordered a pizza no drink some stupid woman brought drinks to my table when I told her I didn’t order that she didn’t even apologize

Pizzas were really tasty, not your average toppings, and good value. It was really lively, and at times hard to hear the chat on our table. They offer a gluten free base which my friend said tasted much better than GF ones she had elsewhere

My first time & really liked it. Sourdough base pizza was delish as was the dessert. Staff are friendly & engaging. Really had a lovely time!

Best pizza ever, and my daughter agreed. Everything was delicious to look at and to eat. Had a small glass of the cheapest rosso, and that was also light and lovely. Lovely peaceful yet friendly atmosphere. Staff all looked calm and happy. Really made my day after trudging around London getting soaked killing time until the off peak trains started again. I didn’t want to leave. Well done everyone at this branch. I even signed up for the app , which I never do. I hope the other branches are as good, because I will be paying them a visit.
