Ready on time. Nice and hot. Very tasty food. Good portion size.

If I could give zero stars I would - this is by far the worst Chinese I have ever eaten or ordered from. The food was late (took almost two hours in the end to arrive) and when I phoned to query the first time (over an hour since ordering) it was quite obvious that they hadn’t even started the order. Twenty minutes later I phoned again and the rude lady on the end of the phone told me that as I wasn’t a regular customer I would just have to put up with it. When the food finally arrived it was inedible - the sweet and sour sauce just tasted of vinegar and the lamb was actually beef! With such rude service and awful food, there is no chance of us becoming regular customers. Avoid!!

Very quick service but oh dear, maybe I was just unlucky. Texture of chicken was weird, kind of wet all through, not nice. And, the chips were just soggy. Very disappointing

When this place opened, the food was great. We've recently had a takeaway from here, and the food didn't seem to have much flavour to it, which is a shame as the service/delivery is really quick

If I could give zero stars, I would. Food was edible, but took over 2 hours to arrive. Only given delivery time after ordering. When I rang to chase up our food, I was pretty much shouted at. Was refused any money off and told it was be another 25 mins! Do yourself a favour and go to Seven Stars instead as it’s much better. Will NEVER be ordering from here again.

Ordered a takeaway which was delivered fast. Food was good, shame they are not on just eat.

Waited 2 hours for delivery. Didn’t arrive, called to be told it would be another 45 minutes! Won’t be using again. Also you don’t get delivery time until after you pay.

Very good take away. Fresh soup and Peking duck.

Ordered three dishes for delivery at 19:30 on a Saturday night, delivery time was estimated at 21:21. Rang them at 21:22 wondering where the delivery got to. Spoke to a very stressed and very fast talking lady suggesting they were extremely busy and my delivery would be at least another 30 minutes. No apology but at least they did agree to cancel and refund my order.

Awful service, over 2 hours and still waiting for food. When chased, told by one person it was cooking, the other person said on way. First time giving them a try as had heard such good things, won’t be bothering again

Wonderfully cheerful and friendly people. The food quality is consistently excellent. Of particular note is the great and prompt delivery service which we have used regularly over the past 2 years. Thank you for your food over the period and your Hot and Sour soup is the best I have had since I lived in Singapore in 1970!

Great food, great portion, great price and great service! By far the best take-aways I had at Royal Wootton Bassett. Bought the Singapore Fried Rice and asked for it to be extra spicy. The cook made it so tastefully! Had the beef with mixed vegetables. In all, simply delicious. Will definitely come back again!

Walked in and ordered a chow mein, was told the wait would be about 30 mins... an hour and 45mins later, still no sign of the food and they keep taking more orders.. now 10 people in here all waiting and no updates.

Food absolutely disgusting, salt and chilli chips weren't chilli, noodles looked black like mealworms, chicken balls were soggy.

Abysmal....Ordered at 7pm for an 8pm delivery....At 8.30 pm we made a phone call asking where our food order was and were told they were extremely busy and it would be delivered in 20 minutes. At 8.50 pm we received a call that our food would not be delivered unless we could collect. I had drunk 2 beers and my partner has a broken shoulder so this was totally not possible. Extreme things can happen I appreciate that but the customer service here is non existent.....no sorry....no next time it is on us etc.....ok we do not matter sorry we ever had faith in you. We supported you in these hard times but come this evening we realise to you this has not been reciprocated.

I had chow mein and barbeque spare ribs. The chow mein was ok'ish but the spare ribs were meagre and lacked taste.

Food at Happy Cook is excellent and always fresh and hot. Portion sizes are good also.

This new Chineses takeaway is by the pelican crossing by the St. Bartholomew's church. It has an excellent menu, and you can watch them preparing your food in the kitchen, while you are waiting in the reception area .

My favourite Chinese take out in RWB. I always go in to order and they start on the order straight away, I've never waiting for more than 10 - 15 min. The food is great and the service is efficient but friendly. Occasionally, if the wait is likely to be longer than normal, they offer you a drink whilst you are waiting.

We were in town for the weekend and thanks to the positive reviews on here, enjoyed a fabulous meal. Many thanks.

Very good food one of the best in bassett

Fantastic throughout. Happy, friendly and helpful staff who were happy to talk. Food very nicely priced and the quality was quite frankly amazing. The best Chinese I have ever had. Chicken was great quality and you could tell it was recently fresh and of the highest quality, no rubberness here!

Best Chinese so far even my 10yr old said it's much better quality 😁

As this is new to the town we thought we would give it a try. Food was excellent, arrived quickly. . Will definitely be using again!
