What a great find ! Service was attentive and friendly, the food was very tasty and fresh. Also very good value for money, as they offer a lunch special for 15.50 £ pP. Highly recommended.

Just perfect. The decor, the service, the food, the price, just perfect. The service was impeccable with attentive and passionate staff who ensured that we felt welcomed and taken care of. In regard to the food, there’s nothing I can complain about, it was my first time trying Korean food and a part of me was feeling a bit skeptical but coming here has definitely raised the bar for any other Korean place I go to in the future. And to top it all off – the prices were incredibly reasonable for the quality of the food. It's not often that you find a restaurant where you can really really enjoy the food to the degree we did without breaking the bank but this one did :) Definitely recommend and will be coming back soon

Excellent food and remarkable service. Definitely one to come back to again and again. In a side street off Upper Street Islington so can be easily missed, but one to make a bee line for. You will not be disappointed

I really enjoy the Beef BBQ platter. I liked it so much I have gone a few times. I would say it is not enough for 4 people. It is for 2 to 3 depending on apetite. The staff is friendly and helps you with the BBQ. The only issue last time is because we were sat near a very loud table, but I can’t really blame them.

Me and my friend went at Hanwoo Village to have our first experience with Korean food . We were amazed! The meat, the side dishes, were all fresh and tasty. Like my friend said: " When I took the first bite, I thought I died and woke up in haven!" . Well.... I can definitely relate to what she said. The ambiance was warm, good service, the host/waiters very attentive, always keeping an eye on our BBQ cuz we had no ideea how to manage 😅. You guys are doing a great job. We will be back, for sure! It was an evening to remember!🥰

We found Hanwoo by chance walking around Upper street in the week after Xmas. We managed to find a place, luckily, as it got quite busy. Probably the only resto that does halal meats, hence its popularity. We were offered a welcome drink, non-alcoholic, which was quite nice and refreshing. The restaurant has a good ambience and looks pretty much like some in Seoul. The food is authentic and tasty, but portions are very small. Most traditional and authentic Korean places give free banchan ( kimchi etc), here we had to order but despite paying for it, it's not even sufficient for 1 person. I know these are hyper-inflationary times but the pricing still needs to be sensible. They are quite new so probably still figuring out. We ordered a mix of their top beef cuts, spicy pork, pajeon and sundubu jigae (seafood stew). It could have been spicier and better seasoned.

What a welcome addition to the Islington dining scene! I’m not that familiar with Korean so I took a bit of a gamble to choose venue for catch-up with old friends following the England football defeat on a Saturday night, it was just the place to cheer us up. Great atmosphere, super service, fun concept and delicious food. Everyone loved the experience and I will certainly return to get more accustomed with Korean food.
