Wow! Amazing place, fabulous staff, fantastic food! I can't recommend highly enough, especially if you have hungry meat loving men! We will definitely be regulars now!

We've been here many times and we'll be back for more! Easily the best burgers we've had in the whole of Devon, if not the south of England! So easy to book a table online or order a takeaway meal. A very cosy atmosphere when dining in, always bustling with people! There are lots of different items to choose from but the burgers are divine. And the portions are generous! Only downside is that they don't serve food every day of the week.

A great night at BFK. It was very busy and we were a large table but waited for nothing. Service was top, top drawer and the food was epic (I'll be full for days). Will be back and will highly recommend!

Amazing place for my daughter’s birthday! The shed was well decorated and provided a heater and a speaker which you can connect to your phone! 10/10 recommend, definitely will come back

Popped in Friday lunchtime, offered a quirky shed to eat in, orders taken and food arrived shortly later, burgers were fantastic and nachos out of the park. Young lady serving us excellent, staff all friendly, cannot fault, grabbed a box of beer from the shop as well, will be back, thanks for a cracking lunch!

Such a good brewery tour - highly highly recommended!

Visited this placed 4 years ago and it was great I could not rate it highly enough but visited it again a week ago and unfortunately although the food quality was good and the service very good the menu has gone the way of so many places these days and just seems to cater for the kids with burger, ribs or nachos. Healthy salads and meats not covered in cheese and stodge seem to be gone. The beer and ciders remain great but not somewhere we will be eating again and also the seating is very uncomfortable.

Lovely place to stop with nice outdoor seating area, and fairy-lit interior. Good beer and good food (the pulled pork fries are fab!).

Fabulous birthday celebration with fantastic friendly service. Everything smoked and cooked to perfection with astounding flavours and aromas. Definitely recommend a smoke shed to add to the experience. Not my first visit and won't be my last.

Had the pleasure of taking one of the Brewery tours, very interesting and informative, the team were all very friendly, and of course the variety of beers was fantastic. Particularly enjoyed the Red Rose, of which i believe is a limited edition. Three burger sliders and fries to eat were tasty and the bar/wait staff were charismatic and efficient. Very reasonably priced especially concidering the quality. Throughly enjoyed our visit, will come again.

really excellent burger and beer. I can be a little chilly outside, so if you want an inside table, make sure you specify this when you reserve (we assumed we were reserving an inside table when we booked, and this turned out to be wrong).

Perfect food perfect hosts a place to visit for sure, just make sure your hungry.

Proper Devon friendly service, great food and lekker food!

Actual venue would be 5* but unfortunately my experience was of cold soggy chilli nachos, super tasty but cold and I think one of our party was forgotten and it was the birthday girl .. so not great but food was nice.

Omgolly what a delightful evening this was! Food superb, service was top notch, beer was on point and the atmosphere was lush!! We caught the bus and the stops 2mins up the road and the return was every hour so so issues there. We each had a different main and there wasn’t one that I wouldn’t have rated and enjoyed wholeheartedly! The best bit……..they allow dogs! Sincerest apologies on behalf of Mr Beau-Bear. 🫣 The staff were so lovely all evening even when my boy dog left a wet patch on the paving!! In his defence the floor is like a patio surface but a quick splosh with a jug of water and it would be all gone!! You can’t take them anywhere!!

Food is fantastic, staff are brilliant, my only criticism is that I wish they did have a non alcoholic drink. Appreciate they have the 1.2% option but it really isn't an option though is it..

We finally went to the brewery tour and we really enjoyed it! The whole set up is fab, the staff are really passionate and friendly. The drinks and mini burgers were delicious. I recommend a visit.

We were recommended this place by my brother. Food was very good, we will be back to try other items on the menu. Only fault I can give is that the table and bench were rocking due to the floor not being completely level

I went to Hanlons for my birthday and 3 other friends recently. The staff were friendly, accommodating and a good laugh, the food was incredible! Easily one of the best burgers I've had. I tried 3 different beers at Hanlons, all had a great taste. The staff even brought out some brownie with a big fountain sparkler as they had seen it was my birthday, which I thought was a great touch! The atmosphere was nice and cozy, even out in their outdoor area, it was surprisingly warm. Overall an awesome experience and I will definitely be back as it is now one of my new favourite places!

We had an amazing experience here! The staff were extremely polite and friendly. The food was absolutely incredible , cooked to perfection! Even allows dogs and our bull terriers had a great time too! We are already getting ready for our trip here!! Would 100% recommend to anyone!

Joined an evening brewery tour experience with burgers (sliders), chips and a selection of beers as part of the package. Very informative on how their beer is made and the production of 25,000 pints per week. Great fun.

Haven't tried the food yet but the beer we tried was very nice. My wife tried it.

The beer was good but served in cans to the table. The food was good too but was server to the table in packaging al la takeaway. Service was good.

Brilliant food and beers. Very well priced. Had la beast burger and garlic cheese fries, fantastic. Others had pulled pork side, truffle fries and other burgers and all were amazing. Eating outside might not be to everyone's taste, but for me made the atmosphere even better. Wonderful little place, which we will be going to again next time we're down here.

Best ribs I've ever had. We also had excellent pulled pork and a variety of burgers. Worth seeing the unique smoker designed and built by Peter Harvey. Friendly welcoming owners and staff.

A late works Christmas “do” was made extra special by the excellent food and friendly service at Hanlons. I would definitely recommend for similar occasions, in fact any occasion.

I've now visited 4 times and I just can't stay away - despite the journey from my house. Once you have this quality of food - from the amazing burgers to the unbelievable waffles - you just can't think of anywhere else to go when deciding a meet up! The menu is inventive and there is always something new to sample on each visit.

Went to a wedding here last week, the place is lovely and the food is gorgeous, Chef Tim is food genius, extremely accommodating to my allergies, every care was given, great bar staff and waitresses, very friendly venue, a great party was had by all! Thank you Hanlons!!

Much smaller than I expected, but makes for a nice atmosphere, nicely decorated with fairy lights and a cute and informative mural about the brewery. Servers were all polite and friendly, even offered to pack up our leftovers. Food was delicious, I had the Korean bbq bao, really tasty, succulent melt in the mouth meat, but be warned, it's a fair bit on the spicy side! Very popular with families with children which dependant on what you're looking for could be a plus or a minus. Personally as it is so small I found it a bit intrusive when people's kids were running around the restaurant screaming as kids do, seemingly unchecked by thier parents, but that aside it was still a truly 5 star experience.

We brought our friends for a relaxing social afternoon and were very impressed. Food was fantastic. Portions were excellent and the menu choice, what seems the same as many other places, is very different. The bbq chicken was better than anything I've tried before. The beer is excellent. I would highly recommend a visit.

Wonderful place - we were given tour of the brewery and learned how they make their famous Yellow Hammer 🍺 Really nice food, none of the usual frozen malarky - nice and cosy restaurant, very nice and friendly people - 6 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ kind of place! Well worth any detour, you'll spend couple of hours relaxing in there and you won't wanna leave! Good times - thanks Hanlons! 👍👋

Great place for hosting Christmas meals, with a great atmosphere, good food, and excellent beer.

Not only do they produce cracking ale, but each Friday night they open their doors to the public and serve a small but perfectly crafted menu. Put together by Chef Tim Ware, the value for money is staggering and the quality of the food is brilliant.
