Hanedan in Haringey

By far best Turkish restaurant on Green Lanes. Chef Orhan is not in it for business; he takes personal pride in cooking excellent dishes with such care and passion. The atmosphere and decor is very pleasant. The waitress girls are very attentive and friendly. I’m probably never going to eat in other places in this area.

My mum and step dad brought the family out for a meal. My partner and I were down from Stoke on Trent, and they wanted us to taste the food here. OMG! The food was mouth watering and out of this world. Dish after dish was amazing. We did not have to wait long for the food even though we ordered lots between the 7 of us. The staff are friendly and welcoming and an asset to the restaurant. The chef has a consistent approach to his food, with amazing portions sizes. We ending up taking food home because there was so much and even as I sit here writing this I am still picking, because I can’t stop eating mmmmmm……. My family had been here several times before. For my nieces birthday party and everyone they bring here ends up coming back for their own parties. We recommend this restaurant.

Walked by Hanedan on Green Lanes and saw that they’re offering 15% off for eat in (food and drinks) so gave it a try. We were greeted by a super friendly and caring female staff (Dilek). I ordered my favorite lamb shish (small) and Hubby ordered mixed doner (also small). To my surprise, the lamb shish turned out to be the best I’ve ever had. Not only was it delicious, the meat was also very tender as well. Luckily we only ordered the small portion otherwise we would not be able to finish it. In addition, they were also very generous on the bread and salad! Apart from Dilek, the chef and other staff members were also very friendly. This has definitely become one of our favorite dining places!

I've been dining here regularly now with my family and it's excellent. Food is very good and well seasoned. There are lots of other Turkish places down the road but we keep coming back to Hanedan. Great staff. Great value.

Absolutely unprofessional and disgusting customer service by the owner or manager who ever he is. Lowest of the lows. The food was good, I’ll be honest. The wait was long and service was slow. Upon leaving we were presented with the bill, I didn’t even check, we had a good time that’s most important, it was just under £800 and I paid using my Apple Pay Amex card. The waiter who processed the transaction looked worried, I asked ‘’what’s the matter?’’, she looked at this disgusting thing and said in Turkish (I understand Turkish) - ‘’he paid with Amex and I didn’t see it, I didn’t have time to tell him no’’. He was furious, started shouting and screaming saying that he will pay £100 in commission and made no money from us. I was shocked to say the least. I said what is the matter, you presented the bill I paid, you take Amex. Some places don’t take it and no problem. Why do you take it then? He was yelling ‘’leave the restaurant, in this month of Ramadan you leaving me with no money’’. What a psycho! Go somewhere else people, there are plenty of good places in the area.

It was one of the best restaurants I have been to in London.. the food was amazing.. perfectly portioned. Stuffs are helpful and friendly. Very welcoming atmosphere. The decor is superb. I definitely recommend this restaurant to family and couples or everyone looking to have good time while eating.

This is the best and the best Turkish restaurant. Super delicious food, the quality of food is really high. Meat is delicious, vegetables fresh, everything is great. Staff is very nice, super clean, reasonable price. They deserve to be awarded as the best Restaurant. Since Hanedan is open I only eat in Hanedan as I know I eat good quality food in an immaculate restaurant.

I am saying amazing about Hanedan because it was amazing in every way. The food was really fresh and so tasty, the prices of the food as cheap as ordinary takeaway outlets which very affordable and very generous. Most importantly staff were so amazing, They make you feel home, So polite and professional. Food is lovely 😊 good portions and friendly staff..not so busy and they charge a good price and are not overpriced like the other Turkish restaurants in green lanes..Defo go again

This restaurant was really amazing, beautiful deco both inside and out, very clean, excellent service & the food was one of the best Turkish food I’ve had and trust me I’ve been to a lot of them in green lane! The staff went above and beyond to make it special for us & ensured that we all had a good time, they even got the birthday cake so we didn’t have to worry about it! We will definitely be returning back soon!

We had a meal here, enjoyed it so much and returned. The decor is very beautiful, the food was amazing, we had the lamb shish with yoghurt and sauce, and we came back for it! The service was really good also and the staff were very friendly and always smiling. I've tried many restaurants in Green Lanes and this is definitely one of the top!

Their doner was like chewing on plastic. Good service from staff, but their doner was a total disappointment. Will definitely not visit this place again. We were a group

We went there on one of the eat out to help out days as all restaurants were full except this one. That should have served as a warning sign. The service was absolute shambles, for example we were told the soup finished yesterday - makes you wonder how long they keep the soup! They didn't serve any lahmacun claiming the oven broke. They didn't serve any desserts because, although it had not been even an hour they wanted us to leave so they can maximise on profit! Food was mediocre , we had to return the Sarma Beyti as it came like a tesco value sandwich! Meat was very salty. Will i return - of course not. Try one of the long cue restaurants on green lanes.

This restaurant has excellent service, friendly staff and very tasty meals. We had a delicious sharing platter and everything was exceptional quality. It is a beautiful new place. Well worth a visit. On a street full of Turkish restaurants it is well worth seeking out...

Amazing food and exceptional service. Far far... better than restaurants around there Friendly staff- top service (we were served by Nely). Surely will come back with our friends.
