Fab bar, great cocktails & tunes!

Very friendly staff , and dog friendly, popped in for a drink while visiting Teignmouth, would recommend

I can't say anything about the food because I didn't eat there, but the service and atmosphere were great! The bean bag chairs were perfect after a long day of exploring the coastline. I had a cold beer and relaxed to the background music.

This is such a great place. Really friendly staff (very welcoming to dogs) very good coffee and a premium location.

Thank you for a lovely chilled afternoon at Halula.. We both loved your cocktails, especially the espresso martinis. Our little one eyed Chihuahua particularly enjoyed the dog treats and the lovely blonde lady who made him a pupacino .. It is now going to really difficult to walk past Halula in the future without him pulling us in for a cocktail.. Not a bad thing

Usually pop in for a coffee here. If the front sofa seats are free it is nice to sit there with the large window open and the view across the sea.

Expensive beer! The price of the only draught lager has just been increased to £6 per pint. Now, if we were talking about a top end lager, this wouldn't be too bad. But £6 for Korev! I know it's only gone up by another 20p, but £6 is a bit of a line in the sand for us. We love Halulu and we keep spending there throughout the dark winter months but we will be heading for cheaper bars now. Sorry Halulu - 20p too far...

Such a sweet spot in Teignmouth, yummy selection of cocktails and good tunes with plenty of cosy seating to keep out of the rain if the weather isn't great. The staff are all really friendly and welcoming too, highly recommend this place!

Such a lovely bar with even lovelier staff! My Husband and I stopped by last Saturday. We enjoyed the beach views whilst sipping mojitos. the music and overall atmosphere was amazing and we will certainly be returning! Also very dog friendly with an assortment of doggy treats for free!

Nice venue. Good music. But nearly 10 quid for a 'cocktail' poured from pre-mix in a bottle. I don't mind paying for a bar persons skills and fresh ingredients, but begrudge paying that for someone to pour a pre-mix on ice.

Lovely place to sit and watch the world go by with a hot chocolate on a cold day. Great views of the sea.

Recently visited. Staff were very rude. Wasn't helpful didn't feel relaxed. Wouldn't recommend.

Great experience for a special occasion or just for fun!

Stopped in for a cocktail, lovely how dog friendly they are and able to take the pup in to enjoy a drink too. The banana mai tai made woth their own brewed rum was absolutely amazing!! Accidentally broke a coffee cup while we were there and the staff put us at ease and made light of it. Wonderful friendly service, we will certainly come back (and hopefully not break a cup next time).

really nice seaside cocktail bar, very chill atmosphere and great view of the sea while you enjoy your drinks. ive had cocktails from here a few times and while they are a little bit on the pricey side (which with cocktails is kinda to be expected) the quality does match it. they also put on events during the summer where they open up their windows and have live DJs playing music while you sit in the sun

Staff are very kind and the atmosphere was playful and calm at the same time. It has great view, and it is a good place for spending time alone too!

Had a lovely evening here 30.06 23. DJ was 👌 - the atmosphere in Teignmouth was very mixed with airshow preps starting and after starting here we ending up back here as we had such a nice time. Staff welcoming, drinks nice an a lovely veiw. Thanks.

Can't rate the food as I've not eaten but what a lovely friendly very chilled place. Great mojitos by the way and a very nice place to just unwind and watch the sun and the sea. Brilliant

Lovely views of the sea, whilst supping your cocktail

Went here for a couple of cocktails after work. The staff were polite and the drinks were lovely! We sat inside with a window seat which had a great view.

Was randomly invited to Teignmouth for bank holiday shenanigans, ended up at Halulu's.... not what I expected from a seaside town... banging tunes, inventive cocktails, friendly locals and mega views. Brava Teignmouth, Brave Halulu!!!!

I love this place! Great place to sit and watch the world go by while sipping on a cocktail. Nice vibe and the staff are really friendly. It's certainly a fun place to go day or night. The bar is dog friendly which is perfect for a decent coffee on my morning walks along the seafront. Delicious cakes, and doggie treats too!

Popped in because it was there! Just one of those on the spot decisions and what a good one it was. Inside a cocktail bar staffed by cheerful and pleasant young people who were pleased to see me and only to happy to help. Really good welcome. Atmosphere was relaxed with.quite a diversity of customers, a group of six 20 something young men, a young family with a pushchair, couples sitting privately overlooking the spectacular views of the bay in front. Huge picture windows stretched across the full frontage. It was a mild day so no waves to watch but you will gather firm this review I will be back there at some point. There was outside uncovered seating and outside covered seating with stools and benches together with a small gas fire (more for decoration than heating I think) and again there was plenty of seclusion and opportunities to just sit and relax. We had a coffee and a beer, intending to stay just long enough and because we sat on stools at he windows, near the entrance, it was a little drafty. HOWEVER, seats on cushions on a bench in front of the windows became available and so clearly had to be tested. Two gins and two beer later (about 90 minutes with) we considered we'd tested the seats sufficiently. One of those days you didn't plan and was just superb, helped by happy and polite, willing and confident staff, in an environment that reflected their intention to make you feel welcome. It will be impossible to repeat this experience, but that doesn't mean I'm.not going to try again, soon. Totally recommend this venue and wouldn't hesitate to support it in the future

So we planned our friends 50th surprise birthday party at halulu... and it was absolutely incredible... the preparation before hand was made so much easier by Nathan's assistance and his lovely staff were super helpful as well as polite and fun, which created a vibe and feel in the party that cannot be bought. We had the best night and I cannot recommend this venue enough, but the venue's charm and vibe is made by the people that work there. Thanks to you all for helping plan an epic party 🥳

Found this lovely cocktail bar right on the seafront in Teignmouth. We spent a few hours there sampling the variety of cocktails Suzi and Simon were fantastic, friendly and informative about each drink we tried. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to returning hopefully in the summer when the sun is shining

Yeh, the nachos are delicious. Just ask for everything added and you'll get a plate busting portion of warm nacho goodness. 👍 Smiling happy staff and a great view over the sea. Satisfied customer. 😊

Cocktails were nice but they do all the one's they did last year which is a shame.

Finally made it to Halulu 😎 it was awesome! Drinks are incredible and the nachos were so yum. The tiki beach interior/ patio are so cool. The staff were all so nice and I love the tropical shirts! Also they’re dog friendly 🐕

Great trendy bar overlooking the sea, right near teignmouth peer. Some great cocktails and good range of drinks.

Called in by chance whilst away for work. What a great little spot. Staff were brilliant. Made me feel welcome and told me how they have been getting the place going again. Excellent choice of drinks and what a location! Got busier as the night went on and the cocktails heading out looked amazing. Hoping to call in again when down on holiday with the mrs. Can’t wait to get back and enjoy the full experience! Wish more people had this approach to pub/bar atmosphere and service. It’s a dying art 🍻🍸🍹

Came to Teignmouth with a freind and his wife for drinks and food and we stumbled across this little gem of a bar. Music was spot on for the vibe they had going, very very busy and great atmosphere. We found the cocktails were amazing and speed of service and flavour of cocktails impeccable. Just wish they had some where like this in my home town. Will definitely be back again for more cocktails and great music. We’ll done guys you doing a great job x

I was there for a busy Saturday night. Never waited long for a drink, staff were friendly and polite, the facilities were regularly checked and it showed as it was spotless. Finally, the drinks were are a bargain for their prices. Would definitely recommend and return.

Very poor pre-made food, staff weren’t trained. I don’t blame the staff as much as the owners, the staff messed up the order, and when I wanted to confirm the order they grunted, like I was a problem. How hard is it to make a coffee with oatmilk? The toilets were dirty, and had no soap. Such a shame, I wouldn’t recommend or go back.

Such a great idea for a small bar on the sea front, hawaiian feel inside and out, love the idea of the skateboards as seating and for the lights in the toilets, cool use of old comics for wallpaper. Great view of the ocean

Very personal based was treated with care and lovely drinks. We had a Dan deal with us and he was lovely we when we spoke about getting the music better and louder the manager was fully involved and made sure we enjoyed our time. We will be going back

Great cocktails and staff and a good menu. The music is just a little too loud for my taste, but that is because I’m an 80 year old at heart. Otherwise fantastic and far better than the only other “trendy” cocktail bar rock bottom

Fabulous little cocktail bar with two knowledgeable and very capable bartenders. Fabulous sea views and a very quirky interior. A shame it was so quiet, but we did go midweek out of season.

What a lovely place overlooking the sea and pier. Spent hours here with my wife Sunday, super friendly service and nice drinks. My 2 small means are 1- needs more draft choice than just Korev and 2- £8 for a tiny mulled rum that was over sweet and not that hot was a tad (very) overpriced. But.. still 5 stars as great for this town and Team made our visit special

Found this while on holiday. Happy hour cocktails, 2 for £10. The staff were lovely and friendly and happy to make our party of ten lots of cocktails. Cool decor inside and some throwback party tunes playing. Highly recommend.

Nice spot to view the beach with tasty cocktails and good music.

Very rude staff who didn't even try to hear what was being asked behind their customer's mask and above the loud music. After asking several times the member of staff then accused me of shouting and refused to serve (47 year old professional - never been refused service in my life). Was happy to leave by then due to the poor service and lack of any mask wearing from staff. Their response: it's our choice not to wear masks. Not according to the company website where it states that staff wear masks. Less concerned about the lack of masks and more the lack of any customer service. Will not be returning. Wish I'd listened to friends who advised me not to bother.

How the staff could be unaware that they had no red wine in stock Saturday lunchtime, I really do not understand. Surely POS shows stock levels.

Nice music, nice ambiance, a hidden gem in Teignmouth. We will visit again soon.

Only came in for a coffee. Had to go to the bar to order then they gave me a bleeper to go back and get my drink when it was ready. Shame as they had about six or seven staff. Table service would have been nice.
