This is a really bad chippy, Everytime I try it I've been disappointed. This time I only ordered prawn crackers, I got home they was stale, to make matters worse they gave me a Mexican 2 pound coin in the change, so I paid 4 pounds for stale prawn food, won't be going there ever again.

No duck in the duck spring rolls, they had some slimy mess in them, shame because everything else was nice, the salt and pepper noodle box was great. Not sure if I will order again because ripped off on spring rolls and it's a matter of principal and there are plenty of places to go that give you what you've paid for.

Lovely drinks selection and staff are very friendly.

Had over a hour to deliver but still came 40 minutes late. Food was hot and tasted nice but made all of us sick.

Walked into the chippy the young woman was polite and chatty and took my order. It took 15 minutes to get my order ready and the chippy was not busy. I live a 5 min walk from the chippy to find when I got home that the chips were cold and stuck to the paper, tasted like they had been warmed up 2 or 3 times. The curry sauce was clumpy and didn't pour properly. The burger was cold and rubbery, the egg fried rice and fish strip were also stone cold. The only positive thing about the meal was the chow main but it's not enjoyable to spend £20 on food that you have to reheat 5 mins after buying to be able to eat it. I gave 1 star only because the young server was lovely. We wont be ordering again and suggest you don't waste your money.

Food was excellent only complaint is the chinese man who took my order on the phone set driver to wrong address, (should use english people who understand), best ok sauce on the land driver was appologetic and it was not his fault overall happy customer

Ordered twice from here in succession both occasions was short changed tonight I ordered sausage dinner with no peas came with no peas or onions I will not be using this chip shop again

2 different bad experiences at this place. King prawns came with a large black dangly hair in, cooked into the batter. No apology or compensation offered. Tonight, food turned up after an 1hr 30mins and driver informed us it has spilled/split in the bag. So we waited an 1hr and a half for a bag full of spoiled food covered in sweet and sour sauce. Which we refused and sent back for a refund. Will never use this place again. Dont waste your time or money.

We normally order from here and its normally quite nice. However last night the chips looked like they'd been fried numerous times, Singapore fried rice tasted slimmy and stodgy & it came with peas despite asking for no peas. Really disappointed and doubtful we'll order from here again.

Just had a £25 delivery order. Will not be returning, fish was all dried up and burnt and chips looked and tasted like they were a day old. The gravy was full of lumps. What a waste of money!!!!@

Updated 09/08/20. Have revisited lately and it had gone a lot better possible my a different f chef. So this review now is a better score than my last visit some months ago. Well done really enjoyed last two meals from you

Just ordered a set meal B,£24 on the new menu,tried to charge me £28 even though we live 0.9 miles away,they said we tried to change menu and then hung up on me,what's happening with this place,have used on numerous occasions,but going down hill fast,wont be using again,very very rude staff.

Do not order here! I was told delivery within the hour, then after 1hr 10 mins was told out for delivery 40 mins later still not arrived cancelled order. After waiting nearly two hours Very poor service....

after ordering and been told 45 mins to hr 90 mins later called food is on way 2 hrs 15 mins later food arrived my battered fish was rubber rest of food stone cold waste of money and staff are not helpful

Nice big fish and large chip portions, nice food just loses one star as delivery is slow at times.

Used to be my go to chippy but the last few times have not been up to scratch. I thought I would try it one last time and I am extremely disappointed. I ordered Singapore chow mein and the noodles were really really dry. This could be to do with the amount of salt that was in it. I literally had a mouthful of salt with every bite. My partner ordered the mixed grill and his too was really salty. Needless to say it went straight in the bin.

Usually lovely food but hour and a half wait ( i understand if busy ) but it was freezing and we dont have a microwave to heat it up fuming waste of £20

If u eat dog food then this is the place to live. ....

Never been so shocked in my life, took my food back as it was cold was then to be told next time I ordered the staff would spit in my food and I would be blacklisted to not order there again😡😡

Cold food and very rude individuals

If I could rate 0 stars I would! I have just had mine and my partners tea delivered which in what two items were missing fried noodles and chips! When we called them back the customer service was shocking where she told me I was lying and I hadn’t paid for them which is on my receipt!! Disgusting place and I won’t be going back!

Omg!! Best Chinese delivery I've had in about 5 years best one, everything came cooked really hot delicious and everything was fresh all of it every single bit, even the children's meal was really really lovely & hot and fresh!prompt delivery also 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟+++++ favourite now!

Ordered bbq ribs, salt and pepper ribs came so I rang and she said well they will be 2 mins but keep the salt and pepper ones to give to the driver, a hour later still not here so I decided to try and eat them as I've paid for them to only find a old man or short womans hair inside it!!!!!! Am absolutely disgusted. Avoid at all costs.

We've just received our orders and we are disgusted! The food was plain and dry, the raise had no flaver and fried rice was plain cold and just horrible. We used to live in Halton lodge and love the chippy but never ordering from there again. Call ling tomorrow when open to make a complaint.

Unfortunately can't rate 0. Their customer service stinks tried to blame me for getting my order wrong. Their food is over greasy and their chop suey roll just falls apart. Their prawn toast is soggy. I wouldn't recommend. I would suggest trying other takeaways in the area

rude staff who threatened to put my head in the fryer also started to call my 14 year old benefit scum and the food is below par try Halton Brook like i was advised by this rude employee i did and far superior food and a lot better customer service avoid this place at all costs unless your happy to pay for below average food and you might even get your free verbal assault and threatened like i did

Shockingly poor service. Our meal is ALWAYS late by AT LEAST 30 mins. AT the time of writing this review, our current meal is presently 1h30m late. The worst part is, the chips are meagre at best. STAY WELL AWAY

Briliant chow mein lovely noodles also chicken & mushroom

One of the best chippy ' in Runcorn. .. never had a bad meal off them in all the years we've gone there. .. The portions are huge and the service has always been fast.... well recommend.
