Excellent lunch and service in a lovely location in a pleasant courtyard above Crickhowell. Interesting and imaginative food.

Just came back from having lunch at Halo. Great little place! Everything about it is 1st class. Our toasted cheese sandwiches were delicious and came with a little garnish of salad with a tasty dressing, some rice with a little spice and grated carrot with crunchy iceberg lettuce. The attention to detail made a lovely enhancement to the sandwiches. Excellent value too. For our drinks, the coffee was really good and the ginger beer was good quality. The staff are warm and friendly and keen to ensure that everything is to the customer's satisfaction. We are local to Crickhowell and are delighted with having a café of such quality to match our lovely town. The two things go well together! We highly recommend a visit.

This café is a tranquil hideaway well worth seeking out if you're visiting the Crickhowell area - just a short stroll from the main car park or High Street. They serve very good coffee, a variety of delicious cakes and some tantalizing lunch options which we didn't get to try. The staff are lovely and on a dry day there's an attractive courtyard to sit outside and enjoy your treats. Recommended!

We were made very welcome and served with a delicious afternoon tea. The bread for the sandwiches was fresh and light and fillings were tasty. Scones and cakes were beautifully made. We highly recommend a visit to Elsie's Tea room. We'll definitely be back.
