Makanan dekat sini sangat² sedap. Truth to be told, lagi sedap dari Malaysia ok. Portion banyak, makan puas. Nanti korang try la order nasi goreng seafood, mee kari, nasi kandar, nasi lauk campur pun, soto ayam. Semua sedap². Recommended sangat. Yang lagi best, staff dia semua peramah,lagi² adik perempuan yg bertudung dan lelaki yang hitam manis tu (lupa nak tengok nama). Lepas tu dorang akan layan je korang, ape yg korang nak (jangan la mintak bukan² ye). Owner dia, peramah, siap tegur lagi customer² dia, beramah mesra. Saya 2 mgu di london, hampir setiap hari makan situ. TOLONG LA PERGI MAKAN SITU OK.

This place serves authentic food but sadly the both soups were not even hot. The rice cake cubes in the soup were inconsistent, some were soft and some were hard. Anyway, overall really frustrating because food tastes better at optimal temperatures

Un endroit a ne pas louper. Nous avons tout aimé, la nourriture savoureuse et pleine de peps, l'endroit (un peu caché) et le personnel ultra agréable

The restaurant is situated in a serviced appartment building. food was quite nice. A lot of choices, even for vegetarians. The atmosphere in the restaurant was more like a dining room of a school. It’s not really cosy but the most important thing is food and that was fine.

We ordered Chicken Satay for Starters and Roast Chicken Rice as main course. Shortly afterwards the waiter came back to the table to announce that they did not have Satay today, so we ordered a different starter. A few minutes later he came again and said that they did not have Roast Chicken Rice today, but he recommended Hainanese Chicken Rice, which we accepted. Not long afterwards he came back again, this time to announce that they also did not have Hainanese Chicken Rice. He recommended Nasi Kampung which I did not want, based on a previous experience at this restaurant, I did not enjoy it then, so I did not want it now either. He recommended Chicken Rendang Nasi Lemak, which we accepted. The dish came and tasted nothing like Rendang, more like a Chicken Curry, but definitely this was not Rendang. The Rice was not Nasi Lemak either, it had - if I am not very mistaken - chunks of onions in it. Altogether one big disappointment, must be one of the worst Malaysian Restaurants in London.

Halia has recently opened with great fanfare as a new Malaysian Restaurant, so we went to check it out. We came for lunch, the place was completely empty, we were the only guests, but were welcomed to seat anywhere we wanted. During the one hour that we were there, only one more table became occupied. The Menu is extensive with the usual Malaysian Dishes, they also have a small 'Western Food' section on the Menu. Being Malaysian, we ordered some of our favourite dishes, only to be told that one of the items that my wife wanted was out of stock today. So we settled for something else from the Menu. When the dishes came, we were slightly underwhelmed. I would not say that the food was not good or authentic, but it was certainly not outstanding. Not sure that I would return so soon again, as there are plenty of Malaysian Restaurants in London where there are more authentic dishes available to savour.

This is a bit of an obscure bar in a hotel with some really good food - especially Malaysian food. Quick and good service in a nice environment.

I think this place might have closed now. I tried 4/5 to order over the phone then I went down in person but the place was closed. Feel sad that they've closed. Used to enjoy their food

No volveré

I strongly advise to avoid this place...the staff are incompetent. No card payment facility. The ATM didn’t dispense correct cash. The drinks are awful and the food is terrible at best ! Carlton Lounge is much better for Shesha and food and is in a much better setting, this place is more of a make-shift smokers den at the back of your garden...

We went to Itsu in Victoria for lunch. First off, there was nobody at the counter. No staff to be seen.....they certainly weren't cleaning tables! When the staff member came to the till, our order was taken as we were told, 'stay there it's coming'. A few seconds later, our rice pots were brought out. Cold, hard, rubbery awful. We asked for the toilet code and got, 'it's not working' in a 'couldn't care less' manner. The tables were filthy, the floor was filthy, the whole place did not look cared for. I ate a few mouthfuls before binning it and leaving.
