Halfway House in Wiltshire

I came in here with someone else and we both wanted tap water. Got served it and then continued to go outside. After 2 mins we both got kicked out as we were told we can’t just drink tap water in the pub we had to order alcohol. Very rude and aggressive words from the women at the bar. Saying that if I want water then go to the garage. Being really horrible and kicking me out for drinking tap water even tho she still gave it to me? Had a few others coming out and being mouthy too. Deffo worst pub in Salisbury. Won’t even recommend this place if you don’t drink alcohol as you will get kicked out hahahah. Very poor behaviour from the staff and out right embarrassing. Hope you read this and think differently in the morning when you’re sober :)

I visited by chance because it was a pub next to my accommodation. I visited with my 6-year-old son to watch the 22-23 Champions League final, and the staff and guests treated us kindly. The beer is delicious and you can really feel the local atmosphere. Recommended for those staying in Salisbury to see Stonehenge. Review left by my son: There is soccer on TV and there is alcohol, but there are no drinks for children.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It is one place ( apart from home ) you want to go back to.

Had Sunday lunch today 29th January. It's was perfect. Best gravey. Great value. Deff going again

We stopped off at the Halfway House for a drink while exploring Salisbury for the day. We were greeted warmly by the lady behind the bar and locals sat nearby. The pub was warm and decorated with lots of interesting trinkets and pub paraphernalia. It looked to have a nice garden too. We didn't stay long enough for food but it looked like a nice simple menu. Would go back!

Super public house. Recommend to anyone. Very friendly Warming and a good family atmosphere and allow dogs 🙂. The food is so good and a fair price. If you want a giggle it’s a must do .

Just had a quick drink as hoped to eat but kitchen closed on Mondays. Sky Sports which would have been great if we could have eaten. A locals pub not suitable for families.

Basically a dump if there was an option for 0 star that's what I would give. The Landlady is an acquired taste to say the least

Nice welcome from the bar team, very clean, brilliant toilets 🚻 well done so clean. Brilliant garden great suntrap topped up the tan. Good pricing for drinks very much enjoyed my time in the pub, but she who must be obeyed she liked it no effyin and jeffing from the guys watching the football.

Just putting this out there I’m the landlord of the pub ! My sister and I own the pub and my sister runs the business. It’s a happy place with no trouble so please check it out . If anyone has an issue with staff or customers please let me know as we are striving to make the pub a happy meeting place for the local community and beyond . My son took my BLIND partner in this pub for a couple of pints (as we as a county to support local businesses after covid) and all the LAND LADY and customers done was take the piss and talk about him like he couldn't hear HE BLIND NOT DEAF,. My son has came out of here absolutely disgusted with how people can be. I think some people of this city need educating on hidden disabilities ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING

Really friendly pub with darts and pool table. No food but very well kept beers. Don't use it that often but everyone is always pleasant and the staff funny and attentive.

Great little local type pub .. the staff and customers were so friendly and welcoming.. decent beer and a good jukebox so we ended up staying for just one more beer lol

Meh... neither here nor there. Log fire, free pool. Music quite loud. Decent ale, was a bit warm. Overall quite likeable I'll be back.

Great atmosphere with the CLEANEST pub bathrooms I have ever seen. Nice service, but not the most helpful.

Great living room style set up to lounge while enjoying a pint. Kind service, but not much for local help. Cleanest PUB bathrooms I have ever seen (though they are COLD in the winter) Nice for a quick stop.
