Very run down shower rooms . The washing area is outside , no protection against bad weather and dirty like the shower cubicles. No waste bins anywhere

Peter cooks the best pub food we have ever had ! One nite he wasnt cooking but when he saw our sad faces he cooked for us, Bless ! The steak pie is fantastic and had that twice as it was so good ! Gary was also a star, very funny and welcoming. Met some lovely people on the camp site. Will deffo call /stay there again. Kind regards, Mark and Samantha Jones, Ewloe, Flintshire.

This is a door location, shame I never found it 20 years ago. Peter was an excellent host and his food ,cooked fresh was spot on. I wish his steak pie was available in hampshire ,instead of the factory pies served here. I asked if he had an area we could sit , with the car tailgate open , so we could watch the dogs.He found one in the shade for us . I must add the food portions were generous , without being to large.

we stayed for a couple on nights on the camping site - the pitches we fine, hardstanding which we needed due to the awful weather - Peter, our host came out in the rain with us to help us find the best pitch available, we had booked in for food at night (we both had the beef which was outstanding) and we had booked for Saturday and Sunday for breakfast as well - this was also fantastic :) - it's a locals pub and with it being 16th century Inn, its small and cosy. The locals were lovely and welcoming and Wendy behind the bar is such a fantastic character - we'll definitely be going back!!! the toilet black for the site is small and clean - there is one toilet for the ladies and a shower and I'm guessing the same for the gents. There is also a combined cubicle for wheelchair users. a shelf in there near the mirror would be helpful just to put your soap bag on when your getting ready (we have a camper so use the toilet block for teeth cleaning, make up etc). all in all, highly recommended and I'll be trying the chicken curry on our next visit!!

We arrived at this campsite on Friday. We decided to spend a few days with family., we were given a hard pitch, but it was not very good at all, the pitch was broken up tarmac and The grass was very muddy. Kind of resemble the traveller site . There were other pitches available that we could've easily gone to, but we were told to use the ones that were allocated to us., the toilet facilities were in adequate for the amount of pitches on that site. The toilet facilities were at a bare minimum., there was no locks on doors. There was no soap to wash your hands and shower doors didn't have locks either it was dirty and very uninviting, the campsite at night is extremely dark. Luckily we had a very good torch, but I feel they should at least be lit up especially if you were a family with children I would definitely not recommend this. No let's talk about the owner. I felt he to be very sly. He tried to overcharge me several times after reading the reviews. This seems to be very common and We also found his wife to be very rude. She actually learnt over us to collect glasses, she never said a word or even an excuse me.. This place has a farm next to it that contain we have been told roughly 200 hound dogs and they bark constantly so if you are looking for a peaceful weekend you are certainly not going to get it here. We actually approached the owner and mentioned the dogs he seemed oblivious to this, but then he also said he gets used to the noise . I would not recommend this place at all.. This place was expensive. We have definitely stayed cheaper places with better clean facilities and certainly more friendly owners. Definitely do your research and read the reviews. We would not go to this place again if it was the last place available stay My last words is, what a bloody dump

Stayed with our caravan £65.00 for two nights, washrooms disgusting the locks did not lock no soap to wash hands after using the loo not that I used them, one ladies loo and shower the same for the men and one disabled with one entrance to them all how can this be enough for 25 pitches, we had a meal in the pub and it was lovely so my sister in law and brother in law asked for two bowls of chips paid by card. We had breakfast in the pub my sister in law asked for the bill and was told that £10.00 was added for the chips they had the night before In which he was told they had been paid for by card but he said that he had not taken for them only when my sister in law looked on her bank online that he excepted that he that had been paid for. Our last night we went in for a drink and was being watched the whole time by Peter looking over his glasses at us his wife was so rude when she came to our table to get glasses she lent over my sister in law right across the table did not say a word just bent over her. This I have been to campsites for less than we paid at this dump and outstanding pitches toilets and showers, avoid staying here.

Hospitality was welcoming and food was ok. Pitches were ok and conveniently located for our requirements. Ladies Toilets were ok . Husband said that the gents were not. Would not have used the shower facilities. Chemical waste disposal was functional! Unfortunately we did not get any sleep whatsoever due to the constant barking and baying of hounds from the nearby kennel.

Excellent quality food, freshly cooked and served by friendly staff. The rib-eye steaks were expertly cooked and the Shropshire beef topside was wonderfully tender. I would definitely recommend eating at the Halfway House Inn.

Awful stay here! Site was not as advertised When we first arrived owner was very rude pitches weren't labelled so we parked in a pitch we thought was ours, only for owner to ask my husband if he wasn't good with numbers because we had parked in the incorrect pitch. I am not a H&S professional but these pitches were far too close together I am pretty sure that there needs to be a minimum of 6m between units with separate family occupation. There were dozens of campervans, motorhome etc crammed into the smallest area. 1 toilet per gender for the entire site and not very clean either During the night it sounded like a Conan Doyle book with hounds howling all night. Although we had booked 2 nights we only stayed for we couldn't wait to leave. Owner still charged us for 2 nights Absolutely awful stay

Camped here in August for six nights . Warm shower & toilet block which was very clean. Flat site with electric and water close by all pitches. Dog walk close by. Perfect location to explore Bridgnorth and Shropshire. Super warm welcome in the pub with good food & service. Dinner lunch and breakfast eaten there. Highly recommend the breakfast it's very very good ! Slight negative is there is a dog kennels nearby so you do get the occasional serenade from the residents there ( bit noisy but doesn't last long)

Myself and my dog spent a night here recently and to be fair its ok....If youre in a caravan then its good and the pub is very welcoming and the food is excellent. For myself the cows mooing, the sheep baaaring, the local dog kennels barking and the birds twittering wasnt my cup of tea,and the single toilet block with one gents one ladies and one disabled can get cramped when busy...apart from that its ok.

A lovely B&B in a great location. The owners Jane and Nigel were very accommodating, we arrived late but Jane went above and beyond to ensure we had our room key. Our room was small but clean and we had a lovely home cooked English breakfast included within the price which was great value for money. Nigel even gave us a lift to our car the next morning when we were unable to get a taxi! Highly recommended!

We have been visiting Odfellows for over 8 years now and have never been disappointed! We reserved a table for 21st August for my Father in Laws birthday. Upon arrival we were greeted by Danielle and her colleague who were - as always - great! We had 2 x Lamb roast dinners and Fish and Chips for our mains, along with some tasty starters and deserts! As always the food and service was 10/10, we can not fault a single visit to Odfellows! As a local, I always recommend to everyone that we meet, and hopefully they will also attract some new custom from further afield!

We try to time our visits to Hadnall on Sundays so we can take advantage of the excellent Sunday Roast offered at The New Inn. Today was no exception, we opted for the Roast Beef with Yorkshire Pudding and Cauliflower Cheese as side dishes. With drinks the bill came to just under £37.00 and proved to be excellent value for money All components of the meal were hot, well cooked, well presented and delicious. During the last twelve months My wife and I have eaten Sunday Lunches at other establishments which, to be frank, didn't come any where near the quality of that served at the New Inn. If you are near Shrewsbury and looking for a good value meal I recommend that you try it Well done to Mark and the team.

We called into the Wingfield Arms on the off chance there would space for us to have Sunday lunch. The staff found us a table straight away, it was a Carvery, Gammon, beef and turkey, I had a bit of everything my partner had the beef, lots of vegetables and potatoes to choose from. Everything was cooked well and tasted nice, gravy was lovely. Also a choice of desserts. The restaurant was quite empty but it was later in the day. We will definitely be returning. Good value for money.
