Halal Shawarma Express Plymouth in Plymouth

How this restaurant got awards and a feature on plymouth live in will never understand, uncooked chips covered in meat that i can only say smelt like dog food maybe worse. I complained and got no response from them or the delivery app I had to setup with. So many better kebab shops in plymouth definitely won't be using again.

Whenever we are in Plymouth we also come here for a spot of lunch. I always have one of their wraps as they never disappoint. Staff are friendly and the prices are good.

I Went Here To Have Lunch Today And I Had A Lamb Shawarma Wrap And Chips And A Can Of Fanta Orange. The Food And The Fanta Orange Was Very Nice And I Will Definitely Go Here Again For Lunch One Day !

They decreased the quantity of meat recently. The shawrma is tasty though.

First time in today, server was so friendly and accommodating. Food was fresh, tasty and great value for money. Tea was delicious. Came in again next day and just as good. We've been here twice now and the wraps, both lamb and chicken, are absolutely delicious. The wrap is made while you wait and the salad is fresh,tzatziki is amazing. Have a change, don't have a kebab, buy one of the wraps. Well worth it, can't wait to get another.🤗

Eaten here a few times now and always very consistent and tasty. Portions are massive and definitely well worth it. The meats are spiced well and tender and the vegetables are fresh and bring great crunch to the meal…you must try this place 👌🏻

BE AWARE of this place and save your money!! We felt taken advantage of during our visit to the takeaway. The staff member initially claimed there was no food available, and when I inquired about another place nearby, he incorrectly said it wasn’t halal. He then offered lamb and rice for £10 but abruptly changed the story, saying there was leftover food that would go to waste and packed it for us without asking. He charged us £20 for the food, which was inedible and tasted off.

Tried it twice . Shawarma has too much fat in it. I hope it will change ( improve)

I'm gutted I'm changing my review I used to like this place. The staff and menu were different so I don't know if there has been new management but something has changed. Some of the prices on the menu were scribbled out and there were no new prices. (I'm sure if I asked the staff would have helped, it just doesn't look very professional) My Lamb Shawarma Wrap had little meat and the salad was soft, it was the worst shawarma wrap I have ever had. My wife's burger bun was still cold in the centre. We didn't complain so we don't know how helpful the staff would be, they did seem very friendly. My review has changed but it can change back again so I'll go back just not as often.

Fantastic kurdish menu and wraps. I leave it to their judgment and they just sort me out a gorgones platter.

A few things that I didn’t like and would not consider visiting again. when we ordered our food they didn’t mention that if we want large shawarma it can’t be wrapped it’s only on a plate. So basically we got plate with chicken and french fries and another plate with salad, vegetables and humus, and separately a few nan breads. Basically I was seating there and making our wrap out of the ingenious that they brought. Chicken was dry and not seasoned in our opinion. It could have been better. I’m not excluding that if they had made the wrap it would be much better but I didn’t try and don’t know. And about atmosphere- I had a feeling that we visited wrong place. Although they were very kind and were trying to make us feel satisfied. There was a vibe that I can’t explain which I didn’t like. As a christians we have been in other religious restaurants as well but never felt as a foreigner. I’m really sorry for the review as they were very kind and nice.

I’ve had their shawarma wraps many times and they are always exceptionally good. They use real chicken and lamb not those reconstituted imitation types. Fresh salad and home made Middle Eastern bread. All for a fiver and one of the best deals in Plymouth. I believe it’s run by Kurdistan guys. Just excellent.

They take the money but send incomplete orders.

Great falafel, shawarma, bread and rice. I go with my family and the guys are always great, helpful and happy! See you again soon.

Wonderful restaurant! The food is so good it's hard to choose a favorite part. The brother at the restaurant was very good and the yea and the end was perfect. A very very good place to eat.

The order was missing some items (ordered grape drink, received lemon fanta instead. Nan was missing in order). additional salad options was added in the order when I was specific on what I would've liked due to their criteria (not a fan of tomatoes). Delivery was good.

I orderd shawarma with salads and sauses and none of the sauses were added and fries were overfried . I have eaten from store before it’s delicious. But this was very bad .

It has no disabled access inside so we had to sit with the pigeons BUT the staff were friendly, the food was quick and nice and the tea was lovely. IF we ever get a summer we will be back.

Most annoying delivery I've had. The man wasn't bothered to come to the door just left food at the entrance to the building of 120 flats. Anyone could have it. Portions small and not very tasty. Probably I would not even complaint if I wasn't so ignored by the delivery man

Food is very good. The burgers are nice and tasty but the best part is tge chicken and lamb which are just too juicy. The staff are kind and caring. The service is one of the best service ive ever had, and my order came very fast 10/10 i recommend (it is also halal)
