Hadramout Restauarant in Manchester

I recently had a very disappointing experience at your restaurant. Despite being a loyal customer who has ordered 20 to 30 times through Uber Eats, this was my first visit to the establishment. I was eager to try dining in, having heard good things and with a favorable comparison to another local favorite, Rayden. Upon arrival, I went upstairs with my 3-year-old child, as he preferred to sit there. We were given a cover for our food and waited for my wife, who was downstairs getting our order. Despite many available seats downstairs, we chose to sit upstairs because it was more convenient for us. While we were waiting, another family, who had paid before us but was still downstairs, wanted to sit upstairs. The staff insisted that we move because the other family had billed first. I explained that we were already seated and had been given covers and asked to sit. Despite this, the staff rudely insisted that we leave, stating, "It's my restaurant, I am the owner, get out." This was an incredibly upsetting experience, especially with a young child in tow. Being asked to leave in such a manner, despite not doing anything wrong, was humiliating and unacceptable. If you are looking to ruin your day, I would recommend visiting this restaurant. Otherwise, I suggest avoiding it to spare yourself from such a negative experience.

Perfect for every occasion. Food is so reasonably priced and is always of the highest quality. The wife loves coming here. The staff are so nice and professional. I really love this place!

Takeaway order of a kabsah and mandi. excellent food, would say it needs to include a side sauce of sauce or at the minimum staff need to advise that you need something with it.

Their lamb chops are the best ever! the lamb soup is free and the chicken shawarma is even better than the Lebanese versions. 100% recommend.

La comida era muy buena aquí, me dieron medio pollo con arroz, estaba muy bien preparado y el pollo estaba buenísimo. El arroz tenía buen sabor y la experiencia fue buena. Vendrá otra vez

Good quality Lamb mandi. Appreciated the complementary soup as well. Wash room a bit dirty,but Would still definitely recommend based on the quality of food alone.

I ordered from Just Eat. Waited an hour, kept saying driver was 10 minutes away, then the restaurant cancelled the order. A joke.

the driver was so rude, my husband have ruptured his Achilles and needed time to get down the flat and the driver being the impatient person he is comes storming up to the door saying that it’s not his duty to come up the stairs and deliver to the door. and that we should respond quickly to the door and not take our time and despite arriving early the food was warm. not happy

The food arrived really late. When I called the restaurant the person who answered the phone was really unhelpful, and when the food finally arrived, the portions were very small.

I am a huge fan of hadromout however, in terms of takeaway so disappointing. The food was cold, didn`t taste fresh and the portions were ridiculously small. Would never order again.

A short while ago, I rushed down three flights in response to a very heavy-handed buzz which I presumed would be my delivery, albeit nearly 40 minutes premature. I opened to a visibly exasperated man who asked, “You No. 8?”, only to then launch a disgraceful and mystifying rant about having been kept waiting for almost ten minutes! He shouted that several calls to my number had gone unanswered and that my intercom designation was not obvious (which is true, although never previously the bane of any Just Eat driver). The food and receipt were thrust at me before he turned and angrily stomped off. I called out “Thank you” in his wake, returned upstairs and checked my phone. It was fully operational and there were no missed calls or messages; but that’s hardly the point, is it??

The food here is amazing. Really authentic and the staff and service are remarkable. A go to place when visiting Manchester. I would recommend the lamb and chicken muhammar with extra spice.

La comida era muy básica, pero creo que este restaurante está muy orientado a hombres y mujeres que no quieren allí (a menos que, por supuesto, que no te importa estar poner detrás una cortina de arriba.

Good size portions and great taste. I always order soup and happy that they well wrap it. Very happy on this occasion.

kapsa came with nan, because i selected nan. I assumed kabsa always came with rice. so i got some meat and nan. NO RICE. becareful ordering

Estábamos viajando desde el norte ayer por la tarde, mi esposa lo encontró en línea y entramos al Manchester City con niños, mi primera impresión es que enviaron a uno de los empleados a comprobar el asiento y nos pidieron que subiéramos al subir. Los chicos dijeron que le pedí a una persona que se quedara abajo. Queríamos pedir a Mandi uno de los platos principales en los restaurantes árabes. Me dijeron que tenía que ir a hacer un pedido, a las 6:00 PM se les acabó el plato principal.

Vine aquí porque quería probar algo de auténtica comida yemení. He estado en Dubai hace un par de semanas y encuentro muchos lugares donde sirven comida increíble, mi favorito es el cordero mandi. Encontré este lugar y pensé en probarlo. Era silencioso cuando entré, el personal es extremadamente agradable, lo mejor de todo es que la comida que tuve que era un Lamb Mandi y un hummus de chile verde era increíble, sabía como Dubai y se notaba que era auténtica comida casera, el cordero era tierna, no seca o masticable, el arroz estaba muy bien cocinado, era fragante con las cebollas cocidas y algunas sultanas que le daban un buen choque de dulce y salado.

Ordered the Lamb Mandi. It was really good, although I expected a larger portion size for its price. Top quality tho. The service was really quick as well (ordered for takeout, was ready in 10mins). Definitely ordering again.

Es poco común (al menos en las áreas por las que solemos transitar) encontrar restaurantes que ofrezcan comida yemení así que nos decidimos por éste. La comida que ofrecen tiene carne en la mayoría de sus platos pero hay algunas opciones vegetarianas, la que probamos era como una especia de tortilla de habichuelas. El plato de carne fue servido en una cazuelita que lo mantenía caliente todo el tiempo. Además nos sorprendió la variedad de postres.

I ordered Chicken Mandi and Roasted lamb (Haneeth) online. I got a call from the restaurant telling me they no longer have Mandi and they can replace it with grilled chicken, I told them that was fine. Then I got called again and was told they no longer have lamb and I'll have to wait for 45 minutes for it to be cooked. I didn't mind the waiting bit but was disappointed by the quality of food when it was delivered. The lamb was so hard and dry for meat that was just cooked. It wasn't the usual soft lamb that I order from Yemeni restaurants. The chicken was overcooked. Unlikely to order from there again.

The best Yemeni restaurant I have been to Outside of the Middle East . Very good food at very reasonable prices . I live in UK but not in Manchester and part of the reason I visit Manchester is this restaurant. Well worth it!

Jeg bestilte deres "Lam Mandi"som hovedret og som side dishes "syltede grøntsager"...Priserne er helt i orden og portionernes størrelse er perfekt!

SO DELICIOUS! Fresh, tasty, perfectly cooked. The chicken was juicy and tender, as were the lamb chops. Hummus was amazing and everything was seasoned really well. Delivery guy was well mannered too. Will be ordering again for sure!

When I lived in Manchester it was close to the Hadramout, which I use to eat at occasionally and always thought the food to be great. So when I brought my Javanese wife to the UK I was keen for her opinion, not least as she is a really good judge of food. We ate in many restaurants including the nearby La Qila and some expensive ones in the centre of Manchester, but the Hadramout was undoubtedly the best food we had in the UK. I was so pleased we visited as it was our last free night and we had thought of returning to La Qila or the Punjab as she wanted Pakistani or Indian food.

To be honest the Haneeth was okay it was good amount of rice and meat, the haneeth rice was amazing but the meat is kinda dry. The bormah is £6.50 but a very small portion! Not worth the money it's very expensive for its size.

Unos 'normal' mesas de restaurante en la planta baja o sube la escalera a grandes oriental alon' donde te puedes sentar en el suelo enmoquetado o alternativamente elegir sentarte en mesas sencillas en cortinas-off. La decoración es muy básica - cortinas que separan las cabinas y cruzando la entrada sostenido con una longitud de cadena y chapa fina de plástico de un rollo para cubrir las mesas, pero la comida es maravillosa.

Este restaurante tiene muchas cajas el resto de los establecimientos Curry Mile están teniendo un tiempo difícil marcando. Hadramout ofrece auténtica cocina yemenita, junto con la genuina hospitalidad de Oriente Medio y una tradicional pero agradable mezcla de asientos. Hay incluso una sección para la familia que tiene cabinas con cortinas, para las familias tradicionales musulmanes y/o aquellos que no quieres que te molesten.
