Lemon meringue tart was quite bad 90% of the filling was meringue and the worst thing that you can feel sugar crystals in it ,barely feel the lemon ... Chocolate cake wasn't chocolate it was Coffee cake Only thing i like is the tea here such a bad experience... Didn't worst at all

As always, staff were very helpful and they had a surprisingly good range of things available, at good prices. I was slightly disappointed not to find any marzipan fruits, but I guess if they had any, they had sold out by the day before Christmas eve, and they had a range of similar gifts, as well as something nice I found for someone else I didn't have a good idea for. As always, a pleasure to shop at and the first place you should think of for most things. Update: I'd previously posted the above 5 star review and Google prompted me to update it just now. If I could give them 6 stars I would. My experience today reminded me why, despite the fact I do a lot of my shopping online, shops like John Lewis are a godsend. I can't recommend John Lewis enough.
