Called in here whilst on a recent visit to family. The young lady serving was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was very fresh and tasty and the cafe was lovely and clean. I did notice a review saying that they only take cash, but when we visited on 30/1/23 we paid by card, so maybe there was a day when the card machine was not working ? One of the garden centre staff told us that the cafe was closing soon due to lack of funding by Hillingdon council which would be such a shame as it is a lovely quiet spot in the centre of a busy area. We are going to send an e mail to Hillingdon to object and I hope other people do too.

We decided to pop here with friends this weekend. I had the victoria sponge and I wasn't disappointed, it was enormous and full of fresh cream. We sat outside in the ornamental garden which is very tranquil and well kept. There was plenty of seating. The food and drinks were reasonably priced and the service was friendly. They accepted card payments. I would recommend a visit

Friendly, welcoming staff. Nice food, reasonable prices. Open throughout the year and particularly nice in dry weather, as you can sit outside in the lovely gardens. There is a small amount of seating inside for wet weather. Do be aware that the cafe is cash only and is a training facility too. Do visit. You will not be disappointed. You could pop in to the garden centre whilst you are there too.

Stopped in on a rainy Saturday purely to avoid traffic on the M25 and so pleasantly surprised. Very simple yet lovely and the cakes (we had carrot cake and Victoria Sponge) and they were both really really good. Just right, and looking out on the beautiful garden made it special. We will return.

Last Saturday afternoon we sat in the sunshine in the pretty, peaceful rockery garden and enjoyed a very good, reasonably priced Ploughmans and toasted sandwich lunch. It was so peaceful and relaxing. We then browsed the compact quaint garden centre and took home with us a couple of new rose bushes. Lovely!

Hacs Rural Tea Room is situated in a garden centre in West Drayton. The garden centre and tea room provide an opportunity for young people with learning difficulties and autism to train and work. The tea room is small but nicely decorated and warm. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a good choice of fresh food that is very cheap. Definitely a good place to stop for lunch or tea if you are in the area.

My wife and I found this amazing place when we moved in the area: walking distance from our house, it became a nice habit to break the morning routine. On a nice day, you can sit outside and enjoy a meal (all prepared in house) or a cup of coffee in the extremely well kept garden. The staff is very welcoming and surely will make you feel at home. I went there with my team for an informal lunch and also with my boss: an all round success. If you need a positive place with a friendly atmosphere where to recharge your batteries, this is it. From the outside you can not even believe that such an amazing place is there. Step through the small gate from the off street parking and you are in a little patch of heaven.

I drive past the tea room almost everyday but finally found a chance to venture in. Lovely little cafe situated in the middle of the garden centre - select seating indoors but lots of tables outdoors. I love the area, once you come in you don't feel as though you are in the local area anymore which is really nice. You also get a feel good factor from supporting a local project. The menu offers a lot of choice, which surprised me as I was expecting something very simple. They do offer an afternoon tea which sounded lovely - a definite must for next time! The prices are really reasonable - £1.30 for a cup of tea is brilliant value. The only thing to mind is that it is cash only which did catch me out! Overall a lovely find in Hillingdon and I will definitely return (with cash!) in the near future!

The Rural Activities Centre Tearoom has friendly welcoming staff and is good value for money. All the food is freshly prepared and tea comes in a lovely big pot. It's great to be able to support a community project as well. They're also happy for dogs to visit as long as you sit outside with them. A real little gem of a place in Hillingdon so definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Hi I ‘ve not tried this cafe before but fancied a fry up so I ordered from Just Eat . Two days ago .£12 I had the Mega Meal breakfast . This place is round the corner from me so the food came piping hot . The Mega meal consisted of one egg ,2 bacon, 2 lovely sausages , one meat Pattie , lots of lovely mushrooms , 2 hash browns on the side , and lots of beans and chips . See photo. The food was tasty and fresh. The egg was perfect . The mushrooms were firm and not mushy . Which is how they should be . 17/02/25 Sunday. Hi ordered again from here this time ordered Shepherds Pie and ample veg . £10.56 plus delivery etc., Delivery on time . The veg were nice and crunchy not over cooked (peas and carrots and cabbage). The portion of Shepherds Pie was good Lots of herbs in it good value for the money . The mash was also nice . Very happy to find a place that sells good home cooked tasty food. Would like to order the roast from here on Just Eat, but they don’t seem to have it . Will defo order from here again .

The menu is varied and everything is tasty. The tuna mayo onion sweetcorn tomato sandwich is legendary. They also have really good coffee in nice cups (yes, it matters! To me :-) And the staff are always friendly and accommodating! A definite staple in the area that I always return to.

The food is pretty good. And I really like how they converted their humble back yard into a dining area with lush ivy growing along the wall — it is very creative. I have two complaints. (1) In winter, there is insufficient heating, even in the indoor dining room. (2) The back dining area (with the ivy) is a bit grotty due to rubbish being stored back there. If they would clean up just a little, it would look much nicer.
