Gypsy Vardo in Liverpool

Just ok. We ordered two fillet steaks, both medium rare. One came rare, the other was medium. Unfortunately, both lacked flavour and seasoning. Salt and pepper shrimps, cheesy garlic bread, and the fries were great however.

The food was nice except for the pepper sauce which was watery and tasteless 😳 The coffee also poor quality very little taste of coffee?? When we asked for the bill it took staff few minutes to produce it as the manager had to deduct our Christmas Gift Vouchers from the cost of our 2 meals and 2 coffee's. As this was mathematically difficult ( £76.50 minus £70) it did take a good few minutes to work it out ?? The atmosphere was not nice as there were 2 young women on the table next to us ( on their mobiles and one of them sprawled out across the table? I thought she was about to fall asleep with mobile in hand 😳 It would have been nice to have a jug of water made available with the as the coffee was not very nice. Sadly we will not be returning to this restaurant.

I have ordered from Dilans on many occasions now, they never disappoint. The food is made to the highest of standards every time. The staff are so very welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend the restaurant whether it be sit in or take away.
