My great aunt used to own this pub, and it was interesting to see a photo of her in the bar. The staff were friendly when they knew our connection to the place. Decent beer and good, basic pub meal. Great setting in the summer next to the river and on the edge of the Beacons.

Este es un muy amable, pub familiar en el oeste de los Brecon Beacons. Está idealmente situado como base para caminar con una promesa de excelente comida estará esperando al final del día. El interior del pub es muy limpio y acogedor. La comida está recién preparada y más de lo que se producen localmente. Al ser una casa gratis, hay una buena selección de cervezas y otras cervezas alcohólicas así como refrescos. Hay un atractivo jardín si quieres sentarte fuera. Y los baños están impecables.

Duke StreetMy favourite pub in Swansea. Always lovely, friendly staff, serving well looked after beers. I didn't eat there but the food always looks delicious. This is one of the last remaining proper pubs in town. Use it as much as you can so that it says with us for as long as possible...

Mumbles RoadHave used this Pier cafe for over 20 years and it’s a shame it’s closed now after a fire. Used the temporary Pier cafe this morning as an alternative but won’t go there again. Food still good but absolutely shocking service from young male at the counter and waitress who was clearing the tables! Young guy at the counter was totally uninterested in our custom and coffees were served spilled into our saucers. Even worse was the young female waitress who wasn’t clearing tables and when we asked her to clean our table she rolled her eyes at us. Eventually came to clean the table after we had our food and coffee on the table and sprayed cleaning product over our plates on to the table! Add to that there was no toilet paper in the toilets! Nothing worse than poor service and having to eat off dirty tables. The management need to be made aware of these issues.
