On my recent visit, I had the pleasure of indulging in their Cheese Bites, a Bombay Burger, Loaded Fries, and Samosas. Each dish left a lasting impression, making this dining experience truly memorable. Cheese Bites To kick off my meal, I ordered the Cheese Bites, and they arrived piping hot and perfectly golden. Each bite-sized morsel was a crunchy delight, encasing a gooey, melted cheese centre that simply oozed flavour. The exterior was seasoned just right, adding a delightful crunch that complemented the rich, creamy cheese inside. Paired with a tangy dipping sauce, these bites were utterly addictive—so good that I contemplated ordering a second round before I even finished the first! Burger Next up was the star of the show: the Bombay Burger. The moment it was placed before me, I was captivated by its presentation. Stacked high with a perfectly grilled patty turkey bacon,, melted cheddar cheese, crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and a dollop of house-made sauce, this burger was a sight to behold. One bite in, and I was in burger heaven—the patty was juicy and flavourful, cooked to a perfect medium. The toppings were fresh and vibrant, adding a satisfying crunch and brightness. Each element harmonised beautifully, creating a well-rounded and hearty meal that left me craving more. Loaded Fries As if the burger wasn’t enough, I also ordered the Loaded Fries, which turned out to be a glorious indulgence. A generous portion of crispy fries acted as the base, generously topped with seasoned crushed onion bhaji, chicken skin, melted cheese, and a medley of toppings including green chilli, spring onions. The fries were perfectly cooked—golden crispy on the outside while remaining fluffy on the inside. The combination of savoury, spicy, and creamy flavour’s made every mouthful a delicious thrill. It was comfort food elevated to new heights! Samosas To round off my feast, I couldn’t resist trying the Samosas. These golden pastries were expertly fried, with a crispy shell that encased a flavourful filling of spiced potatoes and peas. Each bite was a delightful explosion of warmth and spice, paired with a cooling mint chutney that perfectly balanced the flavours. The Samosas were a testament to the kitchen’s ability to craft authentic dishes that resonate with comfort and nostalgia. The Cheese Bites, Burger, Loaded Fries, and Samosas each showcased a dedication to quality and flavour that is hard to find. This place is a true gem! We travelled an hour to visit Guru J’s after seeing it on a YouTube food review. It was well worth the drive & I would do it again & again! Portion sizes, prices, staff, food quality & flavour were all spot on! The donner topped waffle fries & Hot chick Naanwich were incredible & the chicken wings were spot on! Hats off to Guru J’s. If you are thinking of visiting, don’t hesitate! We will be back!

I am delighted with this kebab. I have eaten a lot of kebabs in Poland and England, but none was so delicious. if someone really does not like spicy food then I do not recommend because kebab is quite spicy. It may seem small but you will be full. The wrap in which the ingredients are wrapped deserves the greatest praise, I have never eaten anything so good. As soon as I am in England next time I will definitely come back. I highly recommend

We did a walk around Cleeve Common Hill and found this place to try after. I got the Shaik Naan wrap which had turkey bacon, as well as their loaded fries that had onion bhaji and chicken skin. Very good value for money and the flavours were amazing. The decor also made it feel like we were sitting in an Indian inspired garden. The service by Sam was excellent too and he made us feel welcome. Although we are from London, we will definitely come back to visit if we are in the area.

I’ve heard amazing reviews from friends about Guru J’s so was super excited to try it finally. I ordered fairly late in the evening. Food arrived so quickly, super hot and it was soooo tasty and fabulous quality. I had the hot chick wrap and vegetable samosas- both so good! Thinking of ordering again tonight! Recommend.

guru js- every time order i meaning the don portions are smaller and smaller, don't know what's going on but for 9,50 i get less than 8,40 in previous years .portion worth max 6£ so I end up with them

The Wrap was really tasty! We had mix chicken tikka and donner meat. The cheese bites were also good. The burger was ok, bit dry and random extremely pink patches (un cooked) meat inside, not sure if it was cooked too hot on the outside. Chips were average, they come in a foil tray and were all stuck together to the point we could pick the whole thing up as one! We had to literally peal them apart. I would maybe advise to change your packaging the chips come in.

Guru J's is always absolutely fantastic, and this was no exception. We've recently become vegetarians, and were delighted that not only were there vegetarian options, but they were incredibly tasty! our delivery driver was so so lovely too.

Food is so filling shared it between 3 of us. The don (recommend) was packed, bhajis massive and loaded chips soft! Sadly missing 2 of the dips for which we paid an extra 85p each.

Ordered 2 dons but 1 without naga sauce for my partner both came with naga sauce so she was unable to eat hers and went in the bin

Ordered for delivery 13th December. Sadly it took nearly a full hour despite being at most 15 minutes away. The food was cold and when we called to advise this they admitted the food had been waiting for a driver to get back from Cleeve. An unfortunate mix up but entirely avoidable with coordination. I would strongly recommend anyone to go in and order the food then take it home if you can. Every time I have done this the meal has been impeccable. Delivery is far too inconsistent. Frustrating feeling of major disappointment with a place you know is good. Along with a waste of money. Should have just cooked... Waiting for a discount code, if received we will be back albeit ordering in store

The hamburgers were really good but the munch box for 2 was a joke. Plenty of waffle chips but you had to hunt for the meat and don’t be fooled by the claim of getting the Naga Devil Dip (we were expecting a little tub to dip) they put a sprinkling all over the chips. The bits of meat we found were tasty but described as for 2, really! Should have had another double burger.

Order was late but when I called there had been a tech issue. Incredibly apologetic, delivered swiftly after that and with some freebies. Very tasty as always.

Just visited Guru J's for the third time and it is no exaggeration to say that this place is THE most unique and enjoyable takeaway ever. The Big Don was a mouth watering joy, and the handful of loaded fries I pilfered from a friend were delightful. Please visit, it's unbelievable. Class!!!

Ordered a 10oz nagaL burger and received a 5oz plain guruJ burger

Firstly, the actual food was really tasty. However, one of our Naanwiches, ‘The Ghandi’ which my daughter ordered had plastic wrapping in it. Not impressed. Ruined the meal for her and she didn’t eat the rest.

OTHER RESTAURANTS TAKE NOTE - The BEST Just eat ever! Fantastic burgers and flavour. Definitely recommend. The loaded fries are definitely the best and most covered we’ve had. Portion sizes were a concern but do not worry at Guru Js! Our new favourite restaurant!!! Guys we were a patty short on the smaller burgers but there’s not an option to break items down on returns. The big 15oz was enormous!!!!! Tasty too. Thank you
