Went for lunch and had a good experience. Food was delicious, good portions and reasonably priced .Large menu choice Staff were friendly and efficient. Will definitely go back

My first visit - “ it won’t be my last “ ! The food was lovely.I had a bacon carbonara and the girls had stroganoff ( finished plates and smiles all around. The sweet was home made waffles which were amazing. We’ve already booked a return in fact we are going twice on the trot in July fro& sat that saiz a lot! Friendly staff and really well priced£90 3x2 courses bottle of wine and 2 beers.

Best pizza around. Attentive staff. Perfect place to grab a bite and chat with friends. It is convenient to sit down outside during summer months and British weather permitting. You'll not be disappointed in here. Cocktails are very good.

Popped in for a bite. Really friendly, good food and service. Nice and spacious and no sense of rush.

Food wasn't great. Even the baked potato with cheese and beans lacked flavour because the ingredients were cheap. Very disappointed

Our first visit here, and I can see us returning. We went in at lunchtime and ordered two club sandwiches, which were both filling and tasty.

Had a very tasty gluten free pizza. It was excellent. The service was superb and all the staff worked with a smile on their face. I would highly recommend Guneros.

Phenomenal food, just the absolute best pizza takeaway there is! I am coeliac, so finding a gluten free pizza that is actually good is so rare. The food in general here is made with such love and the portions are just as you’d like them. Gunero is so clued up on food allergies also, so you know you’re in safe hands! I understand their prices are a little higher than your average takeaway, but you just cannot fault or beat the quality of the food here. It’s worth every penny in my eyes and I couldn’t recommend this place more!

The food here was lovely and really good service even though it was very busy but they fitted us in no problem. Great choice on the menu as well.

Great place to eat... lovely staff

I use this business on a regular basis, the pizzas are immense I particularly enjoy the steak and stilton a real feast. I have also dined in on a few occasions great food tremendous service and a nice selection of drinks available.

The "new" bistro area is really nicely decorated and staff are lovely! The menu has a lot of options to choose from including some nice veggie/vegan options. We had the snack wraps and while I really did enjoy it, this is the same food that's always been on offer in their takeaway. It's a brilliant business move to offer the same takeaway food but in a nice setting where you can sit down. It does oddly make it feel better! Guneros is widely thought of as the best place to get pizza in Telford, beats dominos and the rest every time and served well in the bistro! Will be back, certainly.

Really tasty food for a simple lunch or something a bit more filling my only disappointment is it’s not always open in the evenings this place would be an amazing bistro with candles and tablecloths! Cocktails are lovely but milkshakes are amazing

Food was delicious and the owner couldn't do anymore to be helpful. I think a few linen cloths on the tables on an evening could make it more inviting, feel warmer and have a restaurant feel. A lovely place.

Where do I start!? The slushies!!! Incredible. The food was delicious and there was a lot of it 👌🏼👍🏻someone else a cross the room had something different that also looked massive and really yummy, Will definitely be back to try more. The staff were really friendly and helpful too. Would highly recommend.

Overcooked pasta! Arrogant Manager. Ordered the Arrabiata Tagliatelle and it was soft and mushy. When feedback was given, the Manager. came up to the table and called it "silly" stating that's how he always cooks it. Extremely rude! Goat's cheese salad was fantastic. Front of house staff was brilliant and apologetic, unlike their Manager.

Just reopened today, so a couple menu issues, but the food we got was great and service was very friendly. The new look of restaurant is very modern and cool and fills a spot that Newport had.

First time visit and when in Newport I will certainly return, the prices are very good for the town and the food quality was as good as the food looked, the tables are laid out well to allow for wheelchair seating and the staff very very helpful and polite... I look forward to my next visit

This place is an absolute gem!! The staff are warm, very friendly and welcoming. We decided to have coffee and cake on this occasion and wow!! The cake was delicious and the coffee absolutely divine, THE BEST coffee that we have had in a long time. We would highly recommend and will be coming back again!! Absolutely wonderful!!

Shocking service took ages to arrive I was sat waiting. It was the wrong order then the server said I was wrong and that I wasn't even waiting that long. Another guy came over no idea who he was literally just gave me my money back without even listening to me. Never going there again not even worth 1 star disgusting

There was a hair in my pasta, they replaced it with out hesitation. BUT my pasta was tast less and not good at all, I was looking forward to go there after reading the good reviews. First and last time I go there. Plus side, the staff was really nice

Pleasant little restaurant. VERY attentive staff ( in particular the blond lady ( Shaynee?) Thank you!) Who was fabulous with our young children. Nice food , kids loved the puddings. Slightly pricey. Would recommend.

Gunnero have been a fabulous sandwich and pizza cafe for a while the additional restaurant is stylishly modern with local art and very freindly staff. Great coffee and excellent value menu. Book in advance it's popular x

Food nothing special (except the pizza which my son said was very nice ) and service not great, especially seeing as we were the only ones there at the end of our meal. Waited and waited for someone to ask us about desserts or coffees as staff were no where to be seen. Decided not to bother and found someone so we could pay the bill. !! Wont be back other than to get takeaway pizza !

Very good. Good prices, pizza was great - decent amount of topping, wine selection better than average, service very good. Risotto portion too big, will have to ask for child's portion next time. Deserves to do well.

This is for the new restaurant that has opened next door by the same owner. Very nice decor and good varied menu. We only popped in for hot drink and a side each. Good table service. A Very good portion of potato wedges and nice garlic bread served on a wooden platter with small salad with an excellent dressing, came to around £12. Will be back to try other food soon. (Also a Kids menu)

The downhill slide lately is a direct correlation of the adequacy of the manager there: a glorified bigot who was constantly making the staff uncomfortable whilst we have been there in the past. We have since stopped going because we have never had a problem with the servers whatsoever. I remember a mistake was made on an occasion which was COMPLETELY understandable and happens even in very well established eateries, and yet the guy holding the whip decided that this was the whole day ruined due to the server's fault, apparently. If they're still working there I would be flabbergasted as to why and can only hope that they're doing better now. Clearly any decent management in the restaurant business would actually know to take responsibility for their own mistakes and show humility, which actually makes a place more likeable (take note, Gunero)! The chefs are excellent and serve great food, the entire front of house team especially the waiting on staff deserve the best whilst they're dealing with the grand mal of management there. God bless the employees 💖 such a shame about it all

Loved that it’s a restaurant now ! Lovely service and staff however there could be some sides on the menu like toast or vegetables and chip and a wider variety of sandwiches very enjoyable experience would definitely come back
