The food was nice. Wasn't too keen on the prawn sauce, but the prawns themselves and the Samosas are really good. Service was great, very attentive. The restaurant looks beautiful. They did it really well.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Gunaydin. We were going in for Iftar for Ramadan, and have informed them when reserving a table. We were pleasantly surprised and awed by their hospitality when we arrived. They have thoughtfully prepared dates, lentil soup, hummus, and cold mezze to break our fast with. The food was absolutely delicious, with big portions and reasonable prices. Every dish was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Following our dinner, they brought us all tea, baklava and ice creams. A huge thank you to Anastasia, our server, who was absolutely incredible throughout the night—attentive, friendly, and professional. This was hands down the best dining experience we’ve ever had in Milton Keynes. The food, the warm atmosphere, and the outstanding service truly made it memorable. Highly recommend to everyone—whether for Iftar or any occasion.

It's important to say that we are an absolute nightmare booking. All of us are gluten-free, my sister is dairy free, and I am intolerant to a long list of things, including dairy, onions, garlic etc. I called ahead and spoke to the head chef, who confirmed that they would be able to accommodate us. We needed a lot of adaptation to menu items and throughout the meal the server was really understanding with us, and careful to check and doublecheck certain things on many occasions. The service was great overall, and the food was amazing. The cocktails and mocktails were also really nice. It's only 4 stars for food though because the rice couldn't be served dairy free (butter), and there was no gluten-free bread option. Still five stars overall as this didn't affect the enjoyment of the meal, and we are very awkward. With some bread, and some rice, the meal would have been perfect. The restaurant wasn't too busy, or too quiet, and the ambiance was nice. We will be returning :-)

I ordered through Uber Eats, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The Chicken Adana was undercooked, which was concerning, and the Lamb Ribs lacked flavor. I’m truly surprised that such food was sent out to customers. Overall, I was very dissatisfied with my meal and won’t be ordering again

Was begrudgingly sat down on arrival and then just left to sit with no ser ice for 15 minutes being ignored by every staff member that walked by. We decided to leave and will not be returning.

Great place to dine in or takeaway - love going here, friendly staff, reasonable priced and loads of options and choice of meal. Kids friendly, had the sharing platter for 2 and mixed mezze, delicious. Team and customer service is fabulous the waiting staff go above and beyond.

The food was delicious. But it was totally cold. Had to put it in oven. The delivery time was almost 2 hours. Shame cos it was very nice food. The wings and chicken Adana were lush ♥️♥️

Food was ok , the lamb shish and chicken shish were perfect as well as the Kooftah and beyti, but the lamb chops was a bit hard to eat and needed some more cooking but it was ok in total . Nice staff and friendly. Little bit of waiting time to get the main course .

Have visited this restaurant a couple of times in last few months and found the menu very extensive...all cooked and presented to a high standard all reasonably priced. Lovely ambience to the restaurant and very clean dining areas which ectends to the washrooms. Staff very friendly and helpful...will definately be going back...

Lovely looking restaurant and good menu selection. Had a player for 2 for main and it was fine, just quite dry. Ribs were particularly poor and really fatty. It was just fine, not much more than that.

Huge menu to choose from including non Turkish options to suit all. Quick and convenient just what we needed on the day. Not a place for a celebration or date but good for meet up with friends.

Wow what a gem of a place!! Great food and quality of the meat was premier league. The lamb that just melt in your mouth without any effort and the service was brilliant. Very plight and friendly staff. Must visit if you enjoy Turkish or south Asian food.

Great place to go for a brunch or dinner with family. Huge portions and great atmosphere. Waiters recommend delicious positions from the menu. Free hummus and tzatziki for the starters. The shared platters are amazing and we took some left overs home as the portions are definitely for more than 2. Great value for money. Highly recommended

We celebrated a birthday, and it was a truly unique and unforgettable experience at this restaurant. The staff, especially Gabi, was very friendly. Will come back definitely ..

Really nice place, great deco/atmosphere, the food was delicious and plentiful, nice touch with the Turkish tea at the end of the meal, staff were really on their A-Game and really helpful, will defiantly be back again as we were so stuffed we didnt have desert !

No matter if I am going with my friend to have some cocktails and coffee or if we are having nice dinners with family and friends We are always having a great time at Gunaydin Restaurant. We are always feeling welcomed. The atmosphere if friendly and the service is just amazing. Usually we are being served by Imran and he makes sure we get to spend the best time there 🙏🥰

First time going to this restaurant myself, the decor inside is so lovely and bright. It is my birthday today and when our server Gabby heard, she jumped up in excitement to ask who’s birthday it was and wished me a happy birthday. The service was lovely, thank you Gabby. A part from being the last to get my food and having to wait for my food for at least 10 mins after my table got theirs. What made up for it was Gabby organising a cake for me with happy birthday written on the plate, sparkler candle, lights in the restaurant low and the happy birthday song playing through the restaurant! It was quite special. It was a good experience and topped off a lovely birthday. Thank you everyone!

We have a lovely time, it was our Anniversary, I called to reserve half n hour before and mentioned its for our Anniversary. Staff were really Friendly and welcoming. They treat us with cake at the end. Which made it extra special . Definitely will recommend Food is delicious . Thank You once again.

I visited this restaurant for my birthday with friends and had an amazing experience. The Turkish dishes were the best I’ve ever tasted, full of authentic flavor. The service was excellent, especially the young waitress who was incredibly nice and friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back soon! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Lovely atmosphere and staff was very friendly. Helped us with the order and all halal menu was a treat. enjoyed the virgin pina colada. Location is nice and central. Food tasted quite good. Definitely recommend for Turkish and Mediterranean food.

Food and service was excellent.

But that has little to do with Turkish food. There are also a lot of Turkish dishes missing. Unfortunately I was disappointed. The fact that an extra service fee is then added to the bill really annoys me. You always only see this when you are already at the table and want to choose your food. My food was ok, my wife's is much better at our Indian home. The price for the food on offer is already high, especially because of the service fee.

We dined in on a Tuesday, just as the restaurant opened at 12pm. The service was adequate, however the servers were probably still getting settled in for the day, so excusable. The food was adequate too - nothing special and nothing that puts them apart from the competition. Decor was nice, very Instagram-able if you’re into taking selfies, etc… Overall, for the price paid in return for the food and service provided, this place rates average in my opinion and there are better options elsewhere in Milton Keynes with either more competitive pricing, better food or superior service. Im sure I’ll be dining there again - but I’ll be in no rush. My 10 year old would love this place due to the decor.

Delectable Turkish food in a friendly and welcoming place.

Decent Turkish food. Clean restaurant, good service, my only gripe was they wouldn't bring the garlic and chilli sauce until the bread was ready, which meant my main was waiting for 4-5mins and getting cold.

Decided to finally visit this restaurant after reading the excellent reviews. Wasn’t disappointed. Extensive menu including vegetarian and gluten free options. Ordered drinks and within a minute they arrived! Didn’t have to wait long for food which arrived piping hot. Food was delicious and portions are generous. Definitely recommend.

The quality is the best, as always, the first restaurant that strikes to my mind when someone asks me where to eat in Istanbul, the price however, has skyrocketed since last year.

What an absolutely fantastic restaurant!!! I visited with my sister & niece in the early evening (after quite a sad personal day) and the staff really lifted our spirits without even realising! Noor and his staff (especially Imran) provided excellent & super friendly customer service and went out of their way to make sure we were happy with everything. The restaurant itself has the most beautiful décor, so you really feel like you’ve stepped into somewhere special! As for the food – all I can say is Wow! Wow! Wow! All three of us had the king prawn starters, which were the large, plump freshwater prawns (peeled) in the most delicious sauce and served on a large thin poppadum style bowl with salad. I am still thinking about those juicy prawns and can’t wait to have them again! A very generous portion too!! For mains we had lamb shish and the salmon option – again the lamb was beautifully marinated and very tender, as was the salmon with sauteed new potatoes. I remember all of us commenting on how glad we were that we had chosen this restaurant to come and eat in as we really did need a good experience all round. Although we were very full after the complimentary bread and first two courses, we decided to share a dessert of baklava with ice cream, so asked for three spoons. Again, we were so pleasantly surprised when 3 plates turned up with the baklava cut into 3 pieces with a scoop of ice cream on each plate and we were told that they were not going to charge any extra – what amazing customer service! I really wish all restaurants were like this instead of the penny-pinching attitude some have! I was really made to feel like my experience as a customer was really important to the Noor and his team! Roll on the next visit!!

Loved every single bit! The decorations were gorgeous, and our waitress was so kind and helpful. A load of effort was placed into the food and it was delicious!

Dined with family, including 3 small kids. Our hostess was very attentive and accommodating when the kids got playful. Service was quick, food was absolutely amazing! If I could have eaten more I would have ordered much much more. The lamb was beautifully cooked and succulent. One of the meals wasn’t cooked as much as we had hoped - our fault, we didn’t specify we needed it well done. However, this was no trouble for the staff to rectify. Beautiful pistachio baklava. Overall, really authentic flavours, great chefs and lovely staff! When back in town we shall surely visit again!

Wasn't sure what to expect, but omg this place deserves at 10 star rating. From food, service to atmosphere everything ticked all of the boxes and more .Even made my wife a cocktail that wasn't even on the menu. If you want great Turkish food, then definitely give this place a visit

My visit to Gunaydin Turkish Mediterranean Restaurant in Milton Keynes was an absolute delight. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy dining experience. Came in this afternoon. Nubil and Nural were really great. They made sure we were happy with the meal and provided us the best service we have ever seen.

We visited the restaurant to order takeaway, immediately we were greeted and welcomed. Beautiful atmosphere, it looks incredible inside. The food is always impeccable and delicious. The gentleman offered us a drink whilst we waited for our takeaway, and we incredibly friendly and polite. Wonderful place!

So not impressed compared to Pasha in Bletchely. Dish names are similar, but salad is not so fresh, bread is soggy and hard, Kalamari is greasy, meat is less tender. Packaging is less considerate. Will return dining at Pasha.

My favorite Turkish restaurant in Milton Keynes. Interior is beautifully decorated. Food is amazing. Plenty of parking. Staff is very attentive and friendly.I've even had a large family event here (120 people) and it was very well managed by the staff, especially by Nabil and Imran. Kudos to the management for providing a great overall experience to their visiting customers. Try their fresh Baklava with Turkish chai.... amazing.

Could not be more thankful for everything!!! Been a while since we are visiting this restaurant!! Since it was opened in 2021 I think! We celebrated my child’s christening, and then, her birthday, and many other days! The food is always amazing!!! The service is awesome!!! Unfortunately, I have got dairy allergy! There is an amazing manager, can't remember his name... But always friendly and helping with any enquiries! Just recommend everything!!! The best one so far! P.S. Today Even got some Turkish tea on the house which was soo nice! 😇

Visited today after a previous good visit. We asked for a chicken platter for 4 and they brought us a platter for 2 without any explanation when clearly there were 4 of us! The menu stated cocktails and mocktails were 2 for 1 but didn't explain they would bring us 2 of each so our children ended up with drinks they didn't want 2 of! Very little atmosphere and average service. Sadly we won't be returning.

Sharing Platter for two is not a good value for money. From my previous experience, having taken away the Gunyadin special which costs less than half was better value for money. Therefore, I do not rate their Sharing platter to be good for value. Having phoned and spoken to their Manager, they couldn't explain to me why Gunyadin special was a better value than the Sharing platter. As well as this, the Sharing platter is more less the same than the special, all you get is more sauces, salads and bread. I recommend to others, if you want to get a Sharing Platter, you should just get 2 Gunyadin specials.

We came here twice a year but every time come here food and service still very good. They have discount 20% for day time on weekday also. Our house far from restaurants but nice to come back and enjoy the meal again.

Finally I found my favourite place to eat. Me and my family are here at least one time in a month. Food is always great quality. Portions are big and I need a wheelchair to take me out home in so full. Kids was enjoying mixed hot meze and my wife seabass. Staff are helpfull and always polite. No wonder place is so busy.

Went for dinner on a Saturday and it was busy which was a good sign. Food was good and reasonably priced and there were clean plates all round. Update April 2024: had a private party event and the staff were so accommodating of the guests needs and our plan for the event. Food was good and the staff were so helpful.

I’ll start off by saying the decor is really nice. Sadly the food and service was disappointing. A gentlemen who looked like a manager or one of the owners came over and started moving around my plates while I was eating my starter and told me how what to do like I’m a child and hadn’t made a conscious decision to not use the small plate that had been on the table for God knows how many hours or days. Then shorty after he came over and poured the remaining of my drink into the glass that I clearly was not using. I understand the place was very quiet so he was probably just looking for something to do but it’s rude… I didn’t tell him I wanted to drink out of the glass… I had clearly been drinking from the bottle with my straw. Then my lamb chops arrived. I noticed one of the lamb chops was missing most of the meat like it has been eaten or broken off. I told the waiter and asked if they could replace that 1 lamb chop. By the time I finished the rest of my food, she came over with a lamb rib. I didn’t say anything and accepted it. However, the rib had a foul smell and I struggled to eat it. When a waiter came to take my plate, I mentioned the issue with the lamb chop being replaced with the rib. I explained that I was not complaining but wanted to mention it. He didn’t apologise or anything… poor customer service skills. The lamb chops I did have were nice and the salad too.

Best food and atmosphere in town for sure!

This restaurant exudes warm hospitality, presents a diverse menu, and delivers exceptional service. I eagerly anticipate returning for another delightful dining experience in the future.

Incredible service from all of the team in Gunaydin's, it was actually even better than their sister restaurant Sultan's in the theatre district. Both of the servers were incredibly efficient and friendly. The food was very similar to Sultan's, however, there were 2 items on their sharing platter for 4, that were not quite as succulent as we experienced from Sultan's, both of the chicken kebabs. Overall the food was still delicious, especially the complimentary bread. There is a fantastic selection of drinks, I tried the Turkish lemonade which was lovely. The decor in the restaurant is beautiful, even on the ceiling! One area which was lacking in comparison, were the customer toilets. They were very clean and well equipped but I believe they had not been refurbished from the last venue. Nonetheless, a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience!
