Talk N Tikka in Milton Keynes

I have previously enjoyed take-aways through Uber at this restaurant, but unfortunately, today's experience did not meet expectations. I ordered Lamb Chops, Veg Fried Rice, and Chicken 65. The Lamb Chops were disappointing, with a texture that felt overly floury and unappetizing - looks like old lamb. The Veg Fried Rice was over-seasoned, with an excessive amount of masala that resulted in an off-putting flavor and smell. The only good dish was the Chicken 65, which is why I rated atleast 1 out of 5. Regrettably, I will not be ordering from this restaurant anymore.

Excellent taste and service . Me being a vegetarian, I tried their paneer tikka masala ( extra garlic requirement as catered too) and paneer Kolhapuri (not exactly on the menu but they catered on request) . Very close to being authentic Indian food

Talk is quite appropriate the meals all came out at different times several minutes apart and the rice finally arrived on time for dessert

This is an ok Indian, the mains are pretty bland but the sides are good. Naans are bad but popadoms and sauces are good. Dont expect a 5 star Indian from here because it’s definitely not. If you want bland not spicy Indian, you could enjoy eating here.

I think the person who ia handelling calls is deaf or the chef is deaf here. 4 times told to make 1 thing spicy and they make the second item too much spicy but not that item which i specifically told about. Same guy every time on phone and he said yes yes ok ok but still the food is same. I am ordering because of indian taste. But i think i need to stop ordering. Because they ignore your instructions. Wastage of money.

I recently ordered food delivery from Talk N Tikka for my party. I ordered both vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian food items. The food quality was excellent and tasty. All my guests praised the food. The quantity of the food was sufficient for the number of guests. I am pleased that I ordered from Talk N Tikka. I would certainly recommend this restaurant for food catering for parties.

Ordered from deliveroo and they won’t issue a refund on my order. How on earth is this acceptable? The amount of oil in the chicken tikka is vile. I put some kitchen roll in there in an attempt to soak it up to make it edible but nope 🤢

Food is not at all fresh! They serve the biryani which has been kept in the fridge from 2 or 3 days.

We tried TalknTikka couple of times and it's really worth visiting. The good thing is they have free parking so if you are visiting you can park safely. They serve both Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian food. Also they take the catering orders as well. We tried Vegetarian Biryani, Panner Gravy, Manchurian all of them were mouth watering and very tasty. Also for my friend House warming they ordered food from TalknTikka and trust me that's the best food I eat. We tried Mushroom Manchurian, Vegetarian Biryani, Roti,.... It's a highly recommended restaurant. Particularly if you are an Indian food lover then you should visit at least once.

Have had 4 times before through delivery and rated it so high. But went last night after looking forward to it all day. Fair enough it was busy, but we were handed a menu that had been used and was dirty with food stains on it. Then we ordered our drinks, when my wine came it looked and tasted like it had been sitting in a half open bottle for a very long time. For the starters The waiter didn’t seem to know what they had. I asked for a specific (my favourite dish) and a different version of it came (which was fine) but it was absolutely stone cold. Then a different waiter came over and I asked to get the other dish too and he went to the kitchen and came back and said “sorry the kitchen is too busy for that” okay so why is it on the menu? I also queried if I could please change my drink because it tasted stale. I would have paid for a new drink. He looked at me and said “no” and walked away. No one came back to take our order -we had to ask. He tried to take our menus between starters and mains even though we hadn’t ordered and had to argue with him not to take the menus because we still needed to order. There was also no communication between the two waiters so we had to explain things more than once. They asked me why I didn’t eat my stone cold starter I told them it was cold. He said it was due to the yoghurt but the entire thing was like it had not even been heated up even slightly. He apologised but no attempt to rectify. The main food was fine but took 30 mins to come. We were missing an item which they tried to charge us for so we had to tell them. This meal cost £50 for off wine, stone cold food and terrible service. Overall a not good experience and after becoming a regular customer and rating it so highly - I will not be going back.

Food is very tasty. After a long time I got the authentic Indian taste.

I recently got catering done for a private event from Talk N Tikka. Their food was a absolute hit! Sumptuous food including Veg/Nonveg snacka and mains. Good quality and quantity of food at a very reasonable price! The team were very flexible & accomodated some last mimute changes to time. They delivered promptly and were a geat professional team to deal with. I would highly recommend Talk N Tikka to Indian food lovers.

Worst service, bad atmosphere & average food, I don’t recommend this restaurant. Visited with family on Friday evening it took more than 1 hr for food to be served and inspite of asking multiple times the priority was given to larger groups who came later.

One of the best place to have authentic Indian food, especially Andhra cuisine. I personally liked Tandoori chicken and Chilli Garlic Naan with Chettinad Chicken. Mango Lassi was a fine finishing touch.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Talk n Tikka, the Indian restaurant in Bletchley, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere. The menu offered a wide variety of tantalizing dishes, and each one we tried was bursting with authentic Indian flavors. The chicken chettinad curry was perfectly made, and the kerela parota was soft and fluffy. CHICKEN FRIED RICE is the must try one here. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was top-notch. I can't wait to return to Talk n Tikka for another delicious meal!

Service was horrible as they were short of people to handle the weekend rush. The restaurant was not insulated well from outside cold weather, it was quite cold inside despite electric heaters brought for additional heating. Food was tasty but since service was quite slow, it pretty much killed our appetite and interest. Some items were not available.

We tried this for 1st time our order got mixed up due to communication issues however they put it right they were fantastic couldn't apologise enough food was lovely will definitely go back soon

Today for Iftar we ordered Dum Biryani, Mughlai chicken, onion bhajhi, and daal makhni. All in all, it was an excellent experience.

Very average food. No concept of service. Main course served before starters but cold. Very avg chat. The waiter couldn't differentiate between chicken 65 and chilli paneer. Thankfully we did :-) It was son's b'day- terribly disappointed.

Naan and chicken tikka are a familiar combo at Talk n Tikka! Additionally, the soft naan bread goes very well with the tasty, delicate chicken tikka. I get the chicken tikka to be very delicious and a filling our evening meal because of the spices in it.

Came here on new year's eve as we were around MK. I read the reviews and saw some videos but i thought it was hyped just like other places but i was wrong. The reviews speaks for itself. Food was very tasty. Very authentic and delicious. The owner was very friendly. We had Lamb pepper fry for started(recommended by the owner but not on the menu), Hyderabad Chicken dum biriyani, Ghee masala dosa, and Chettinad chicken curry. Everything was super tasty. Cant fault it. Defo highly recommend this place. Going back again with more friends soon. 🧡

AWESOME!!!!! We traveled from Switzerland to visit UK last Christmas and this is the food we craved for… everything transported me to my home place (India) the taste was on point. The Gobhi manchurian is finger licking, and so was other Indo-Chinese appetisers. In Main course we ordered Biryani, Now that is something you can’t compare from what you get in India (authentic ones) but this one was so close ❤️ absolutely swear by this place and would definitely come back when we visit Milton Keynes again. 😊

The waiter who served us was very welcoming and friendly, he even moved the heater closer to our table as it was cold. The atmosphere was okay - not many people were there as it was only 12.30 at lunch time. The toilet and hand washing area defiantly put me off. It didn't look nice and felt off putting due to how close it is to the kitchen. The garlic and plain naans were good, the butter chicken was good but the chicken pieces were quite small and didn't feel the portion was a good size. There was more sauce then chicken in the curry. I wouldn't recommend the mixed grill. For 16.99 the portion was very bad. There was only one prawn in the platter, 2 small lamb seekh, 2 chicken tikka, a small lamb chop, a roast chicken leg that was mainly just bone and a small fish. I thought for the price, this was defiantly disappointing. Overall the food was okay, but i wouldn't come back. Our waiter with the glasses was the best part of our service!

Our all Time fav restaurant..these guys will never fail you with their Indian tastes. We can order from them everyday but practically it's not possible still we always order from them without a second thought.

We went there for celebrating 10 years work anniversary of colleagues. The ambiance was great, food was fantastic. I’d recommend Chilli Prawns, Mix Platter, Papdi and Samosa Chat, Mutton Curry. Suresh was the perfect host and made sure that our event was an awesome one. Not to forget the Karaoke 🎤 😊

Had a takeaway. Absolutely disgusting… portions not as advertised. Chicken Tikka so hot you couldn’t eat, suspect it was to hide the taste of bad chicken. Naan full of revolting paste. Do not waste your money!

Had the best meal ever tonight, had the dosa masala crispy and dhal were very good, had the chickpea curry with paratha bread again very delicious. They even made me a marsala chai as it was freezing tonight. I love it so much glad this little gem is only round the corner.

Fantastic food with typical Indian ambience. The service was superb. Had a wonderful experience altogether with Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar's song as background scores with the mouthwatering tastes of kebabs, tandoori and curries and not to forget the desserts...enjoyed every bit of it.

The food we had enjoyed at the time of dinner, it was really delicious taste with great quality, everything had unique indian food taste which we had ordered. Nice arrangement of food plating and good services from the staff while eating.

Food quality is very very poor, tried Chole Batura, which was literally yellow in color. It's seems they have reused some old frying oil. Have tried Chicken Kothu Parotta, it was literally reheated from a early day left over, also completly bad smoky flavour. Very poor quality, which I never expected.

Suggested things to try: Ghee Roasted Masala Dosa Triveni Juice - this is a freshly made juice of a mix of fruits with a hint of ginger - top tip, you can ask the server to vary the amount of ginger if your prefer it to be stronger or weaker. Anything with the Manchurian sauce - this is an Indo Chinese sauce which is made with generous amounts of spring onion, ginger and chillies creating a real kick to the sauce. You can either have these dishes more dry to have on its own (starter) or saucy to go with rice and naan (main). Chettinand Curry. Spicy curry 🔥.

Ordered from here for the first time, getting egg noodles, chicken tikka masala and a butter naan. The egg noodles were probably the best thing of the entire order - the chicken tikka masala was spicier than I expected, and a little tough on a few of the chicken bites in the sauce. The naan is just a naan - same as you find pretty much anywhere. Overall, it's a decent place - just make sure you go a level under the spiciness you normally prefer!

Service & ambience is better, food quality & tase is just ok, i am saying this as i am a Pakistani and we are a bit more conscious about spice balance. Portion size was good. Their Mango Lassi (mango and yogurt shake) is popular and worth trying but slightly over priced. They serve Halal meat as they claim so one more option for Halal food lovers.

I had arranged Catering (Lunch and evening Tea with Snacks) with TalknTikka for an outdoor event for 480 people in Milton Keynes. TalknTikka did a fantastic job. They sourced large high quality eco friendly Takeaway boxes, tested them for their food freshness before the event. On the day, the delivery was on time - We had tasty large quantity of food - Veg and Chicken biriyani, Gulab Jamun and Raitha, all well packed. The Gulab Jamun and Curd rice for kids was given free Evening we were given Tea and Pakoda, which were tasty and in large quantity. Overall, everyone in the event was satisfied with the food and the quantity and packaging.

We ordered food for our Lunch Party and the quality of the food and service was out of the world. The perfect place to order for the perfect party. The street food starters and the yummylicious mains along with the sweet dish was a super combination which was hit with all our guests. Talk and Tikka was the talk of the guests while eating the tikka.

Great authentic food. Spicy as per original recipes. Very good service from the owner and all the staff. Highly recommend if you like Indian food. Parking is a challenge near the restaurant. Try chettinad curries, Gobi Manchurian and other chilli chicken versions if you can handle the spices.

The most delicious authentic Indian food. On collecting the takeaway, our waiter commented that it was "too" authentic, and maybe that is the reason this is less popular than other Indian takeaways. All the starters and mains were fabulous, including vegan/vegetarian, fish meat and sides. The online ordering was seem less also.

Good is just sumptuous with a lovely blend of spices. We have tried all different range from biryani to curries and everything is equally good. Kids love it as well as food is lovingly customised with what you ask for. Regular visitor now!!

I had party order for around 150 adults and kids. Food was excellent with various dishes for adults and kids. Delivery was on time.Goutom and Suresh were very much professional.

I was sceptical as the introduction to trying a new Indian is always daunting but I can say that was truly lovely and I was pleasantly surprised with the food. I chose the Chettinad chicken curry and I think for the regular person it may be quite spicy but for someone who is accustomed to spice it was a lovely balance of spice. I would recommend if you’re thinking about ordering from this restaurant.
