Amazing food, my friends and I come here every week and never leave disappointed. The chilli garlic mogo, lamb chops and Everest lamb are to die for. The pub itself has a rustic feel about it. Happy to call this my local. Albert and all the staff are stars.

Food was pretty good, staff was excellent, and the other customers were friendly. Good place to spend a long layover if you're coming from the airport.

Great tasting food and fantastic and attentive friendly staff! I have eaten at the King William a number of times, with family, friends and even on my own. I tend to mix it up and try different dishes and each time I am never disappointed. Cosy old style pub with a truly great atmosphere which I cannot recommend highly enough!

First time coming down to this pub and I must say, the food is to die for, Literally the best pub I’ve been to so far, the culture is brilliant they had the footie on all night which was great. Definitely will be back.

What a superb meal. Something I don't see often when cultures clash with food. Nepal, Indian food in a British pub. I love it.. Everything was just great and we definitely over ordered as I wanted to try everything. Large portions at very affordable prices. Dumplings were great, fish, meat platter etc were just awesome.

Me and a group of friends came for food and drinks before we continued our night out. The staff was nice and professional, food was really good and the atmosphere was good. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for food and drinks. I felt warm fuzzy and happy.

Listed as pub with Thai but now Pub with Indian (Nepalese) which was not a problem for us. Good beer and pub atmosphere with sports screens in bar and nice area away for eating.

Went to The King William yesterday for their momos, very delicious. When we walked in, we were greeted by staffs and was given the choice of choosing our own seat. At first glance it’s your typical pub but we didn’t go there for the drinks, it was the food that we were after. We had the chicken and vegetable momos, veg noodles, masala chips. The staff was friendly, the food took a little long to come out but it didn’t disappoint. The match was on so it was a bit loud and at times couldn’t hear myself by that was to be expected.

Worth staying the night before your flight near Heathrow. Tasty food and great service.

The combination of tasty Indian food with an authentic pub environment makes this place a hidden gem. Lamb chops and tandoori wings were succulent and the lal maas for main really got the tastebuds going. Staff were accommodating and very attentive. Will be coming back!

Only a half mile walk down Sipson Road from our airport hotel, this 600 year old pub was the perfect last day place to eat, if you care about character, aurhenticity, and great food. The specialty cuisine is Nepali and Indian, with bounteous choices. We had the mixed Nepali grill for two and a side of fluffy rice, and everything the other diners ordered looked wonderful. Staff was kind and friendly and the ales are great, so was the house wine. Prices were extremely reaaonable. What a happy find.

Party of 4 adult ( 1 child and 1 infant ) We had no break down on our bill of £84.00 We ordered:- 2x cokes £3 2x red glass wine -£8 1x tap water -free Sadeko aloo - 4.50 Mono platter x 16 - 12.95 Gumba fried rice - 8.10 Gumba biryani -8.95 Gumba mix - 10.95 £56.45 We we over charged by £27.60 Please could you look at this and reply back within 48hrs

If you're looking for great dining experience then stay home, but if you dont mind the wait and the mistatkes the staff make then worth the experience of eating home made Nepalese food. Though I probably wouldn'tgo back I may occasionally order a takeaway of Momo's (steamed dumplings). The food does take a while to cook as it's all made freshl (yes you can tell). They could improve if they had someone to guide them and give them some business acumen in running a restaurant which is a shame , nice people just dont have a clue.

Fancy Momo's try Gumba in Uxbridge. Our recent visit was enjoyable with good food. Gumba serves Naplese cusine with limited Menu and drinks. More service staff required on the floor. The decor is great and Modern.

Worst Nepalese restaurant experience ever. I have been to at least 20 Nepalese restaurant in England and this have to be the worst. Lady in the counter was rude but waiter was helpful though. Food arrived late and cold and was terrible never again. Expensive for the Nepalese food they provide and certainly bad for Nepalese taste. Momo size has been decrease than before.

Gumba is a really fab Nepalese canteen - humble but with super tasty food (especially the momo!). You get cutlery in a can and sharing food, with great music. The staff are welcoming and attentive, and the prices are very reasonable indeed. Hillingdon needs some good restaurants and this is the best one there is - if you’re local come and support it.

Overall the food is good but the portion size is too small for the price you pay. I have been visiting this restaurant for last 1 and half yrs and i am quite disappointed with portion size lately. When I visited last time after lockdown i was quite shocked, the size of momos were even smaller than before. With the same price, you can get a decent portion size and be fuller in other nepalese restaurants.

Best Nepalese restaurant and have been regular customer for the past 5-6 years. Food taste wise is fantastic and staff is very polite and friendly. Been 3 years we have moved out of London but still time and again we visit Gumba for dinner which takes us around an hour to reach. Highly recommend place. 👍🙏

Absolutely bizarre experience ordering through their website! Firstly, misleading information about being open on Monday. I made an order which went through as normal and I did not receive any correspondence until the next day! Very unreliable with their phone calls, I must've called a thousand times and eventually when I went in to see personally the place was closed! Wow just wow! When asked for a refund which they did not bother to process at all! I as a customer had to go through the hassle of calling the company (orderyoyo) responsible for taking their order which is mentioned no where on the website. Order yoyo needs confirmation from them to process the refund and tried calling them to get the approval. With no surprise they fail to answer their call again! Brilliant! I am STILL waiting for the refund to be processed which I am not too sure when they will be able to process! AVOID until changes are made!!

Got Take Away during the the COVID season and the staff were super helpful and accomodating.. the food was amazing and really unique bringing the authentic taste of Nepal to the UK.. thank you Team Gumba for such a beautiful service and excellent food. The momo's were just something else.. succulent and juicy, mouth watering and scrumptious. Don't hesitate to try for youself to really enjoy the taste of Nepal in London! 🙏😋🙏

We were Keep ordering take away from this place to have some good vibes from Himalayas. I most mentioned now, it’s gone down. The only best was momos in our previous takeaway but but but this time was horrible. My partner found some uneaten things like raw plastic inside the pastry of momos. Taste was not as usual like before,not tasty. Barbecue pork was bland. Literally, thrown away all food. Sorry guys, i had a bad experience.

This is one of the best Nepalese restaurant in town !! Very clean , delicious food !! Jhol momo and pork jhir is the best ever !! I recommend to everyone to try once !! You can’t go wrong!!

Was with friends and they ordered from this place. Food was late, portions were tiny and mostly bland. Left everyone disappointed.

AVOID! Read the review before deciding. As a rated local guide, I don't normally leave such reviews. However, the poor service and quality of this restaurant requires eaters' cautions not to be fooled by their misrepresenting images on their listing. Small portions for the prices they charge. One dish was okay, out of 4 other dishes that were tasteless. Management don't care about their customers full of excuses. We had to call 11 times as each time they claim the line gets cut, but we can see on our phone that we are put on hold as reported by other reviewers. They eventually said we should've "called them" to ask about the portion sizes before ordering and that it's our fault shifting the blame noting that the dishes are sold as main dishes. And refused to provide any resolution - noting that we've been charged £50 for three people. Food provided was not sufficient even for two people and was mediocre quality at best. I would not recommend this restaurant and would warn others not to be lured by their deceiving false marketing.

The food was very late and so bad that I threw it away. We had it down for delivery and it was not delivered. 2 hours post order, we phoned. They put us on hold for 10min. After that the line was busy forever. My husband then drove to the place to pick it up just before it closed. My husband said that they did not even acknowledge or apologize for the order. Seems like they threw it together there and then. Warmed up from storage.. I suspect ..as it was cold (not even warmed up properly), greasy and tasted terrible. I threw it in the bin. My husband did not finish his. Waste of money restaurant.

The worst place you ever wanted to eat. Pathetic service not once but at least 3-4 orders at different times and dates and these guys have missed basic customer service and courtesy. Don't deserve to be in hospitality/lesuire. And they don't learn from mistakes. They take phone and put you on hold without even letting you know. Food is on an average 45 minutes delayed. Half orders served. Order mix ups and much more. Overall SUPER Pathetic.

Food quality was terrible, tasted cheap and it was incredibly oily. Believe me, I eat alot of Indian and Nepalese. I actually threw it away. It was also due for delivery in 45min but it was more than 2 hours late with no heads up from the restaurant and you can't call them because their phone doesn't work. We ordered on Gumbas online ordering service around 9.05 and was told that delivery was going to be 10.07. This was later updated to 10:17 (which is understandable as it was new years eve). At 10:35 there was no sign of the food so we called to ask for an update. I was put on hold whilst they checked with the kitchen. I was on hold for 10 minutes with no one returning so I hung up and called back......'line busy'. I kept trying but all I got was the busy tone. At 10:50 I decided to drive to the restaurant to find out what was going on as they close at 11:00. I kept calling as I was driving and I did get through, only for the voicemail to kick in after 3 rings. I arrived at the front desk of Gumba and spoke to the staff and asked what was going on. Apparently their phone is malfunctioning and keeps hanging up on customers (despite me being on hold for 10minutes, not being hung up on). I was told the food was almost ready (this was 11:02). I asked why I wasn't informed of the delay as they had my number on the online order. At this point the staff ignored me to deal with other customers. The food eventually came at 11:15 and was handed to me without any apology for the delay, or in the fact that I had to drive to them when it was meant to be delivered. I drove home (7 minute drive) and on eating the starter (chilli chicken), the food was tepid, only just warm. (Why if the food was 'just being made') It was also bland. My wife ordered the chilli paneer and she wasn't too fond of it. The mains (Nepalese curry) was also tepid (although the rice was at least hot) and I had to drain 4 tablespoons of oil off the top before I could eat it. My wife couldn't even finish hers despite being hungry after waiting over 2 hours due to the poor quality and temperature of the food. I'm sure if I didn't make the effort of driving to the restaurant, we would have been left with no food (on new years eve) and also out pocket as they made a concerted effort to ignore me before they closed. The food definitely wasn't worth the wait.

This place for those who have plenty of time to waste, we visited this place on Saturday after 15 mins someone took our order than starter been served after 40 mins, they only have diet coca no other soft drink, you have to ask for spoon,fork & knife.

What a restaurant, absolutely loved our last visit. Although service could have been improved but knowing they make it fresh explains the time they take in delivering the food. Taste of Nepal in London, will be back soon!

Very tasty n authentic Nepalese street food.. We ordered Wai Wai Chatpatey, Chips chilly, Momo Platter n Gumba Mix "ABSOLUTELY AMAZING" reminded me of Nepal!! Definitely visiting it soon n try their other foods. Best of all it's Halal aswell.
